LA Furniture Store – West Los Angeles

I’ve never written a review of anything in my life before but the experience I’ve had with this company is unparalleled to anything I’ve ever been through before. Everything was fine until it came time to actually get and have the furniture installed. When they came to install the bed the first time these lights that were on the bottom of the bed didn’t function. The installer didn’t say a word about it and I didn’t notice until it was dark out and I went to turn them on. I filed a claim with the company. 2 months and many emails later (it takes about a week average for them to reply) they came back to replace the lights. This time they broke the clips that hold the lights in place and now the lights work but are laying on the floor. I’ve filed another claim and maybe they’ll be back, I have no idea. I also ordered a TV Stand that was a «special order» and still haven’t received it. I called today and they told me they have no record of it. They said the salesperson (Mona) no longer works there. I sent them a copy of her emails and an invoice from her showing the purchase and my credit card statement showing the charge for that item. I doubt I’ll ever see the TV stand and I’m sure I’ll have to now file a dispute with my credit card company. Please, whatever you do, I’m begging you to not go here and put yourself through the nightmare of buying furniture from this place. It’s the worst buying decision I’ve ever made.

This store is an excellent place for a very nice contemporary furniture at a low price.
Their furniture looks and feels much more expensive than their prices.
They have several locations in LA, but also they have a great online presence.
This location is located inside the mall.

Don’t expect your furniture to arrive on time.
Ordered a table online, and Laura literally didn’t respond to my email requests. I told them far in advance that I needed to change my shipping address, and she never followed up. Really pathetic customer service. If my product is gonna arrive later than scheduled, have the decency to RESPOND to my emails. After all — I paid almost $ 1,000 for the piece I ordered. If you’re out there Laura, I’d love to hear your reasoning for such unprofessional behavior.
It’s baffling that a high end furniture company thinks it’s okay to run a business this way…

We bought the most beautiful mirrored end tables. One table was scratched and the other was chipped. Terrible customer service. Low quality furniture. Beware!

Mona was extremely helpful and professional. What started as a challenging experience trying to purchase some items due to an unresponsive sales person, Mona made it right. She stepped in and took care of our needs. She also immediately followed up with an email with her contact information. I will definitely work with her again in the near future. I am looking forward to the delivery of our new furniture this weekend.

REGARDING LA FURNITURE’S WEST LA STORE AT THE WESTSIDE PAVILIION
OMG! I’ve been trying to get a close-​up look at a $ 600 dresser from LA furniture’s West LA store FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS NOW, but get this — they want me to purchase it before I get a good, close-​up look at it, and according to Mona the store manager there, once I purchase it and have it delivered, if it turns out that it’s not what I was looking for, and I decide to return it, I’ll have to pay a restocking fee of like $ 45 or more.
No way am I going to throw my hard-​earned dollars away like that. And no wonder I never see/​rarely see anyone purchasing items from their store. Now she won’t even return my calls about the status of my request that she at least order it for the store and if I find it IS what I want, I’ll take it at their white-​glove price.
I’m just trying to match another dresser I bought years ago and, from the website, it looks like it’ll match, but I would definitely prefer to see it first — you know — touch it, open the drawers, see how sturdy it is. Don’t want to chance purchasing something cheaply made, ergo my request to see it first.
Guess I’ll keep looking… Because I know eventually I’ll find someone, somewhere who has a wenge chest of drawers that matches the rest of my bedroom furniture.
Meantime, West LA’s LA Furniture store sucks for this shopper. Cute stuff, but I refuse to purchase from them or even look at their stuff. There are way too many other furniture stores in Los Angeles to deal with this crap — someone who obviously does not want my business or my money.
UPDATE of 5÷26÷2015: I ended up finding what I was looking for at Interiors Made Eezy in Culver City, CA. Should have gone there in the first place.

Ordered my couch through la furniture and got a great deal on it. Mona was extremely helpful. Now just looking forward to getting it delivered. :)

If i could give no star i would! My family ordered a few pieces of furniture in September, 7 months ago and we are still waiting for our items! Customer service never answers us and i went to the actually store to get status. It says for the past 2 months our items have been sittin waitin o be delivered but that havent or even called us! When ever i ask the manager mona or art they never have a correct clear answered for us. Worst service i have ever received! NEVER BUY FROM HERE! Very unprofessional service!!!

This is our second time buying furniture from La furniture store and it’s very great experience and there customer service is out standing Mona was awesome she was very friendly she gave us very great price I love there sofa I just can’t wait till they deliver the sofa. Thank you so much Mona for great smile and great customer service we will be back soon.

We love the furniture there. it’s modern and sleek with affordable prices. The store manager, Mona, was very kind, patient and knowloedgeable.

I got more than 9 pieces form LA furniture (spending more than $ 9K) and I was quite happy with them. I work with Anthony and he was super helpful. Yet, in their last delivery, the two guy caused a long scratch all the way from the front door to the living room on my hardwood floor. I called Anthony and he told me that he is sorry, but I should let their supervisor know. I called the supervisor 3 times and I left him a message yet I never heard back. Although I was happy with my purchase, I was pissed by their delivery, and lack of accountability for their delivery. They reached me a few weeks back, and I sent them pictures and some followup email, but I have never heard back from them.
EDIT: Mona, the store manager, called me and offer me a gift for the damage. She was nice and very helpful.

We visited LA Furniture in the Westside Pavillion Mall on 2÷21÷15. Mona Aminzadeh assisted us with our purchase. She was very patient, informative. I would recommend all my friends & family to deal with her when looking to make a purchase.

I had a great exprecice shopping at la furniture store with Mona, she is abosuloutly the best. Highly would recommend LA furniture store and working with Mona.

My girlfriend and I just happen to be in the Westside Pavillion and stopped into LA Furniture Store just this past Monday.
I was very interested in a leather sofa that was on display.
I gave my contact information to the gentleman that I thought I was working with and he was totally responsive.
I ended up calling him back and again with the same behavior.
By now you can see how interested I was in this sofa.
Today I called and spoke with Mona and she could not have been more helpful.
I told her what I was interested in and within an hour she called me back with excellent results.
Her follow through was incredible and I could not ask for a better customer oriented sales women to work with.
I like doing business with people who want the business and are willing to work for it.
If interested in their products you would not be disappointed working with Mona.

I had a very good experience with LA Furniture. I worked with Mona at the West LA store and she helped me to find just the bed I was looking for and got me a good price and a free piece of artwork. The delivery was on time and the bed was put together well without any problems. The only complaint I have is that the back if the headboard is not solid wood or wood veneer even. It has a fabric instead and I put it somewhere where there is not a wall behind it. I should have checked closer before ordering it. It still looks decent though so I can live with it.

Avoid this Business if you can, its not worth it. Bought a new house and got almost all the furniture I needed from them, from 8 pieces ordered, 6 became defective or with any problem. Last piece was a sofa, even though it arrived damaged upon delivery and was noted on the slip. Still has to beg for a response to get a replacement. I will have to take legal actions to resolve… Even thought Mona (the manager) has been nice, there has been not resolution, after 6 weeks. Buy at your own risk. Good looking pieces, but only if your are lucky to get a non-​defective piece… Never again…

If you want to have a disaster, yes, this is the right place !
There is no doubt that they have beautiful furniture, but costumer service is awful !
I bought a lot of furniture from them, including bed, night stands, pouf, desk, outdoor table and chairs, vanity dresser, etc.
First time Delivery, they didn’t show up that day and I could hardly find someone to answer me what is going on ! That order was placed on phone with Nima, the only person in the whole store who helps you and tell you the truth about orders !
When I was buying at this store on march, the lady there told me if I but the 2 night stands and the pouf, I will get them the same time with my bed (I have ordered the bed almost 2 months before by phone with Nima, same with outdoor furniture)
It seemed perfect ! Although I had to wait long time for my bed since it was a SPECIAL ORDER !, I could have all my bedroom set at once, so I ordered them.
When it comes to delivery, they told me that lady did a mistake, and those orders come in 4 month !
I was shocked, I wouldn’t order them if I knew I have to wait this long !
But costumer service including Art, the manager, were so impolite and rudely behaved with me !
When I said I bought these furniture based on the false information so I don’t want them anymore, they didn’t cancel my order ! not even behave nicely to me for the problem happened because of their staff mistake, not me !!!
Even when I said at least I need to have them before 23^rd of July since I will be overseas afterwards, they didn’t even respect that although by 23^rd of July, it would fill their 4 month period time !!
I had to go with out getting my night stands and pouf !!
When I came back, I have scheduled delivery time and I told to my self: ok, this will be done !
But I see delivery people came with out the pouf !!!
The most annoying thing was they crossed out the order without delivering it !!
I called costumer service, Art told me I would get it definitely by Friday, now is Tuesday and I haven’t get it yet !! When I called, Art was not available as usual !
Delivery people although I gave them tip, didn’t even clean the hallway after they was done !
I am so mad about not just waiting, killing my time with them, and get this responses while I bought This much furniture with them.
I will never recommend anyone to even buy a piece from here ! My sister needs furniture for her new office, a friend buy a new apartment, and I mentioned them to not waste their time here ! your time and peace are the most important factors. specially when you spend this much money !
And as a costumer, you deserve to get a better service, better responses, respect, and to get accurate information about delivery time of what you get !

After numerous hours searching for a white modern contemporary lounge chair on-​line for our 2-​story highrises condo in our DTLA living room, we came upon LA Furniture Store website. Lucky, when calling Antony answered the phone and invited us to come and view the chair in his Pico Showroom. I’m not sure about any other showroom designers that work there but Antony wasn’t pushy nor rude if we brought the chair today or next year. He simply wanted us to make the best choice for our home. He showed us other options but we still went with our 1^st choice a white leather $ 1200 lounge chair. The entire deal was simple and quick less than 30mins and the delivery of the chair was within 2 days after purchase. We will come back and only deal with LA Furniture Store and Antony.
