Dr. Kuo is a great dentist. He gets my teeth examined thoroughly and in a timely manner. He is very skillful with his tools. I feel he is a very proficient dentist.

I absolutely love Dr K. He has been my dentist for over 30 years. He saw me through my baby teeth to my in dire need of some whitening adult teeth. He is very gentile and very knowledgeable. My husband has had issues with every dentist he has seen as he is prone to cavities. Also every other filling he has gotten pre Dr K have had issues. Now that Dr K is taking care if his teeth, he no longer has those issues.
I am a fan if his front office staff as well. Nancy had been here for just as long as I have been going and she is always friendly, asking after my family.
The wait is generally never long. They accept insurance, but only PPO, so I actually pay for the plan simply so I can go to him.
I will be sad the day he retires, but I hope it is not soon. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Came here since I was practically born. Great dentist and he doesn’t drill the living poo out of your teeth! He does great cleanings and even extracted my wisdom teeth. Just got insurance again so i’ll be coming back to see him and i’m very excited. Hopefully Nancy still works there. she definitely makes the experience great as well.

Found Dr. Kuo on Unilocal to remove two wisdom teeth — he examined my teeth, explained the options, and removed only the one that needed extraction. His careful and professional manner was a welcome relief from previous dentist who pushed unnecessary procedures and referrals; prices were fair and disclosed up front. Total satisfaction! Thank you for your «old school» honest service!

He gives great service and is focused on the patient and not pushing unnecessary procedures. He works quickly but does not cut corners nor lack in skill.

Been coming here for several years now. What can I say, he’s like family now. Dr. Kuo is very good at taking his time examining your teeth. He’s definitely old school. I’ve had bad experiences with newer/​younger dentists who try to sell you the whole kit and kaboodle on your first visit.
For example, when I saw a dentist in Santa Monica, she told me I needed a full deep cleaning ($ 500+) and had to buy this special electric toothbrush safe for my enamel ($ 350+) because Sonicare and Oral B are both too harsh on teeth. Okay I was not about to drop a grand on a single visit to the dentist. When I went to Dr. Kuo for the first time, I asked about my gums and asked him if I needed a deep cleaning. He said I was fine and could just change my brushing habits a little to focus on certain areas. For the enamel stuff, he said I just need to use toothpaste safe for enamel and I could continue using my Sonicare toothbrush. He wasn’t out there to nickel and dime me for every little thing he could find.
After each visit, he always gives me free sample dental products (toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, etc.) That’s a nice touch. I could always use spare toothbrushes.
