disgusting and a slap in the face to people with real talent who don’t happen to have a rich daddy. Kira Plastinina is the posterchild of the ills of capitalism, the girl has no talent. She doesn’t even design her own clothes, she has a team of designers who draw up sketches and she stops by twice a week and tweeks things here and there. The girl seriously talks like an 8 year old, with ‘rainbows’ ‘unicorns’ ‘sprinkles’ and ‘pink’ being the most prominent (if not the only) words in her vocabulary. However, Kira is not really to blame because she is just a rich, stupid little girl who is being used by her father (the real criminal) to move the family name away from Orange juice and into a more respectable arena that is fashion.

This store appeared to be too girly to me at first… loads of pinks and pastels. But I found an adorable black tube dress with a huge fabric rose on the boobs. I was surprised at the selection, a nice array of fluff.

This is one of those places that I could go broke in. Yeah, it’s clothes designed by a 15 year old, but I happen to also look like a 15 year old and fit into these clothes very well. I like pink and purple and stars… and Kira Plastinina has all these things. You wouldn’t believe my joy when I walked in and saw all my favorite things all around me; I felt like a line of clothing had been designed especially for me!
I controlled myself and only bought two things: a silver hooded dress/​top/​thing and a necklace with stars. They are my favorite things ever.
In my opinion, this place isn’t at all like forever 21. It’s smaller, less mess, better design, more high fashion, and less cheaply made. I thought that everything that I tried on was constructed very well and was, above all, different and more interesting than clothes found at places like Forever 21.

in a nutshell, kira plastinina is the forever 21 of robertson blvd. when walking in, i immediately noticed the betsey johnson-​like décor — pink and glitter EVERYTHING. nothing wrong with that, i like pink, and i can appreciate betsey johnson.
as for the clothing — it’s not the most spectacular quality (read: really, pretty bad), but fun, affordable, and disposable enough for your average 15 year old. funny enough, the designer is a 15 year old from russia who is reaping the benefits of her businessman father’s billions and expertise. she’s also friends with paris hilton — no surprise there, the clothing is fitting for any heiress wannabe out there.
ps – i admit, i did buy some stacked neon pink and yellow rings.
