The hands on program enables students of all levels to pursue their careers in the beauty industry whether that be in a salon, owning your own business, or creating your career in the TV and film industry. KC Academy’s method of teaching enables its students to become well-​rounded stylists ready to bring their dreams of success in the beauty industry to reality. Our goal is to assist our graduates in marketing their newly developed job skills as in demand in the entertainment industry.

Our environment fosters creativity, open minds, and teamwork. We specialize in Japanese training system/​techniques, ethnic hair, extensions, braids, and so much more! With a diverse staff and the ability to offer a truly international experience, we ensure our students a hands on, real world experience.

CEO: Yuko T. Koach (LOCAL706)

Founder of KC Beauty Academy has worked in the film and entertainment industry in both Japan and Hollywood. She first began her career in Japan but quickly rose to the top of her profession in Hollywood as a hair stylist, working in films and TV shows such as Michael Jackson’s This is It, Pushing Daisies, and Memoirs of a Geisha. For three consecutive years, she has had Emmy nominations for Outstanding Hair Stylist and has also opened three salon while opening her academy specializing in applying Hollywood’s latest techniques and trends. Her unique wealth of knowledge and experience can help guide your career and give you an insider’s perspective of the entertainment business.
