The only true Karaōke Night Club open 7 days a week. We are not a restaurant and we only offer a full bar and lot’s of fun! No Cover Charge and Karaōke is always free.

Happy Hour is available Sun — Thurs from 7pm to 9pm.

Min Drink Charges are the following:

Sun — Thurs $ 5 Min Drink Charge per Guest

Fri — Sat $ 10 Min Drink Charge per Guest for groups of 6 or more. Groups less than 6 people will still have a $ 5 Min Drink Charge per Guest.

We have the most updated song list of anyone in town!

We offer cheap drinks and the Cheapest Bottle Service in town. There is no comparison to other venues!

History

Established in 1994.

Karaōke Bleu opened it’s doors in January of 1994. Karaōke Clubs then was more of an Asian hangout and not very popular among Americans. In the past years there were restaurants, bars and even bowling alleys promoting Karaōke Nights. Even up to this day, we believe that BLEU is still the only true Karaōke Night Club. We have no food menu, no appetizers, no tapas, BLEU only serves a full bar, songs to sing and a great time.

Karoke Bleu is the spot! Where else can you drink, sing karaōke, and bring in your own food. Looking for a fun dive bar for a random night out, this is the one!

My second time going and can’t believe I waited so long to go in. It’s awesome. The current staff is so friendly and attentive. The bartender I don’t know his name just yet but is always on point! Their list and variety of music genres is everything I hopped for! Takes me back to my favorite 90s hits!

I’ve been to karaōke a couple of times at this place. It was great the first time, fun crowd and nice server. What ruined the night was the restroom that was out of service. Really?! The second time our server looked like she didn’t want to serve us. So mixed feelings about this place. Not thrilled to go back.

Came here around 10pm on the weekend. Originally headed for max’s karaōke but the wait was ridiculous. Found this place just a block down. Pretty chill and more quiet vibe. They have an open stage so you sing in front of strangers! My friends were up for it and belted out a few oldies. Seem to have a great crowd that night. Everyone was so supportive and clapped after every performance. The food was basic and limited. There is a $ 5 minimum for an order so you should order as a group. They have some tables in front and a bar towards the back. You may have to wait a while for your song since everyone shares. Unfortunately we couldn’t sing our last song as we had to leave.

I’ve been here a few times and I always have a good time!
This place is a karaōke bar. That means there’s a stage with a mic and screen. You put the song you want to sing on a piece of paper provided on the tables and the server comes around collecting them throughout the night and then you wait until your song comes on and then get your jam on!
Staff has always been friendly and fun here. I’ve never had a bad experience with them.
Drinks are strong and good. The prices are fair. It would be awesome if they served food but there are a bunch of restaurants around here so it’s perfect for coming to after a meal for drinks with friends.
Sometimes you’ll come here and it’s packed and other times you’ll come and it’s pretty empty. I’ve realized there’s really no way to know. But either way, i’ve always enjoyed my time here.
If you’re in the mood to sing with drinks, definitely check this place out!

You don’t have to wait forever. Songs go by table, so if you come in new you don’t have to wait 3 hours. Great mics. Staff is nice even through the turnover. No smoking, things have really changed. Reasonably priced drinks. Great song selection.

Great karaōke bar! We celebrated a birthday here on Tuesday night and had a blast. I was able to make a reservation and we were set up with a table right in front of the stage. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The song list was comprehensive and we did not have to wait forever to sing! We brought a birthday cake which was served at our table no problem. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Ralph and staff!

Good dive bar vibe but the girl running the machine was so disorganized that some people had waited 90 minutes and their songs weren’t played. Worse, she didn’t seem to care much about getting it right when people asked her why the wait was so long.

They tried to charge us for 2 extra drinks! Thought we were drunk, but we weren’t’ havin it. They also didn’t put our songs on the board so the world was deprived of «I believe I can fly»! I wish I could give a lower review, there is no greater travesty than depriving the world of I believe I can fly.

Went here on Saturday for my hubby cake day celebration and had a ball! The management team was very accommodating with our large reservation. The wait staff were great! They were very friendly and helpful. The crowd was very supportive despite our tone deafness lol. The drinks were delicious and not too pricey. Loved this place. Would def recommend it for a good night’s fun!

This place is my jam. Conveniently placed in the middle of some of my favorite spots to eat, Karaōke Blue is the perfect joint to grab a cocktail when waiting to sit at any of the surrounding restaurants on Sawtelle.
Don’t expect anything fancy, but the staff is super friendly and it’s just fun in general. Drinks are cheap as it is, but Monday nights they have drink specials like a $ 5 AMF that will put you on your butt. They also have little bar snacks.
The song selection is vast and they’re always updating it. Their gear isn’t the best, but it’s not bad by any means. Cute little stage area to stand while you get your diva on.
Only thing that could make it better would be getting food delivered from the surrounding spots. If that were the case I could be there all night long.

This karaōke bar has great service and an interesting concept! It is unusual to me to find a karaōke place where there are no private rooms and the machine is out in the open where you get cheered on by strangers. We dropped by to kill some time while waiting for a spot to open up for dinner at TsujitaLA and were lucky to witness the owner belting away while we enjoyed a few drinks during happy hour. I believe there is a $ 5 cover on busy weekend evenings, but that’s not a bad deal considering the fact that you pay by the hour to rent a private karaōke room with friends at other establishments. Definitely bookmarking this place for future visits!

I really enjoyed this place. I think it’s a little nicer than most dive bars, I’d put it more at the «casual» level. The karaōke is a lot of fun and they have good drink specials. If you go on a night where it’s a little more crowded (Friday-​Sunday) it’s a lot more fun. The waitresses are super nice as well.

Came here on a Thursday night, the night before my birthday, and it was awesome! Great drinks (you get what you pay for here, they are not cheap with the liquor!), a great atmosphere, and a lot of fun! The service is really great and hospitable. A surprisingly small karaōke bar with decent drinks and an entertaining, if rowdy, crowd. It is a bit divey (especially the bathroom), so don’t expect anything too trendy or classy.
They don’t really have food… just a few packaged snacks. But, if you plan ahead there’s lots in the neighborhood to eat.

Love this place! Been here twice so far, and it’s the most fun I have had in a while.
The staff here is amazing. Everyone is so nice and friendly. The waitress always takes our order almost immediately and constantly checks up on us.
The drinks are priced really reasonably.
They have a huge selection of songs to choose from. Pretty fun crowd as well. Will be coming back and bringing all my friends!

I actually like this place a decent amount, though I imagine your group of friends and the other people at the karaōke bar make a big difference.
I happened to have a cough/​laryngitis, so I just watched, and it was a spectacle.
The karaōke takes places on a small stage near the front entrance, just tucked to the side. Everyone else is seated around a small restaurant-​style bar, with tables and drinks only, as far as I can tell.
I’m not sure if I should even reveal it, but I spoke to our server and informed her that I had a cold, and she did not require me to get a drink. The sign says it’s a $ 10 minimum on weekends, and it was a Friday, so I feel like they’re pretty cool if you catch them when the place isn’t overflowing with people.
We had a group of 7, and I think 5 people got alcoholic beverages, plus a diet soda, so we spent $ 30 – 40. They got what they wanted out of us.
Anyway, if you’re in it for the singing, the song list is quite extensive, and they have two folders, one organized by artist, the other by song title. I was impressed with the song list.
Not a bad place to stop off for a few songs in between other activities, but probably not a place I’d plan on spending all night.

Went here for a friend’s birthday. Watered down tiny drinks. Horrible sound system. One mic didn’t work all night.
When I paid they added $ 9 in tax & tip to an $ 18 bill. Only figured that out from the menu prices as I was never given an actual bill.
After 2 hours of waiting in a bar with not that many people any of our groups songs came up. When I did finally go up to sing a waitress quickly took away the 1 working mic and left me with a dead one. To boot, half way through the song they shut off the music. I guess I was either just that bad or they really hated me.
Price gouged for garbage drinks and cut off from singing karaōke. Wow! Will never go back.

This place is a blast! The waitresses are very friendly, the drinks are cheap, and they don’t charge for the karaōke.
I’ve come on a number of occasions, and yes the singing was always bad. But that can be a good thing — it makes you sound better.
Karaōke Blue is in a small room, with a small, cheesily-​lit stage off in the corner. Song selection is pretty good, though I didn’t see some of the newest hits on their list. They do a good job of mixing who goes up, so one person from each group goes up every so often.
