My name is Jose Villa I started taking over Julies dog grooming, I’m 28 years of age i have been working with dogs since i was 16 year old. i first started bathing dogs and cats, i learned how to cut nails clean ears and more. i was really fascinated by the art of cutting and grooming the little dogs and big i should say. After a few years i began to style and groomed the pets, i quickly learned the basics and the dedication that takes in order to be a successful groomer. I have been cutting hair for 8 years now and totally proud of my job. I would always make sure to satisfied every request that my clients might have. After all, our company still here after so many years thank to our little ones (dogs and cats) that keep coming back. Thank you

First time here. I am absolutely happy with my dog’s cut. It took 2 visits but he looks great and it’s EXACTLY what I wanted. I also love that they keep a very detail file on his haircut. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I’ve been coming here for years and Jose has always been phenomenal at it. And now I see the place is nicer and is being run now even by a receptionist in the front. This is where my problem enters. It’s the front girl. Please either re train her or get someone with a customer service attitude because she is not the person for this job. In the long run she will hurt your business. The front girl is not friendly and is very condescending to the person she is talking with. Smile girl smile. Not even that. I hope Jose you see this cause it’s worth looking into this… I’m sure I’m not the only one complaining about her. Do something or yur business will loose clients…

Started taking my dog a few years ago, now I take my 3 dogs to Julie’s Groomer. The staff is friendly, answer any questions I may have and they have the best prices around. I would recommend all my friends to take thier dog to them.

Love these guys!.. been bringing my tiny chihuahuas here for years… jose is so gentle with my little scared cats… highly recommend. .they really put alot of work in updating the place too. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The girl at the front desk never smiles nor does she greet customers in a cheerful and positive manner. Unfriendly. She looks as if she dreads her job. She doesn’t look at you directly when speaking. Unprofessional.

Contacted this place at 9:44 — no answer. Even though the groomers state they open at 9 am. Called the second time at 9:52 and I was placed on hold by the women who answered and then she hung up on me. I called back «the third time» at 10:00, one final time only to be placed on hold. Finally when I did talk to (Veronica) she was very rude and disdainful. I asked her two questions and it was like pulling teeth. I asked to speak to the owner and she stated he was on vacation and did not know when he was coming back. I been coming to this place for awhile and never encounter any problems. They should seriously think about hiring a new receptionist.

Just tried contacting this service and the women on the phone hung up on me twice. I called back one final time only to be put on hold. Finally when I did talk to her she was very rude and condescending. I won’t ever bring my feline friends here again. They should seriously think about hiring a new receptionist.

This place is horrible! Do not take ur dogs here please! They took 4 hours to groom my baby. He had an appointment at 9:30 am. I never got a phone call to tell me he was ready until i call like at noon and they told me half an hour more, we will call you. Well, half an hour went by and no one call me. I waited till 1:00 and still no one call so i just went to pick him up and he was ready but no one bother to call me. But that’s not all. My poor baby was not the same after. He wa sad not eating he even vomited and i knew they did something wrong at that place. I checked him everywhere and discovered he had a terrible rash on his tommy abd it was swollen. He didnt even wanted to walk. I dont know if i will take him to the vet tomorrow. I will post more in a couple of days to let you all know how he is doing

I’m writing this Review on Behalf of my Neighbor, she’s been bringing her Dog for Many Years to Julie’s for Grooming, and Sadly yesterday had a Horrible experience. Her Dog had a lot of Red Rashes on his belly & just seemed Horrified when she Picked him up, he was Also trembling & Crying. The Groomers Excuse was that the Dog was Not Cooperating, well guess what you can do you Stupid careless unprofessional person you can Simply call the owner and explain what’s happening and have them pick up the Dog, oh well if you couldn’t finish grooming the Dog, I rather have an unfinished job than to have my dog all beat up ! Now she had to take her dog to the Vet & it ended up costing her $ 85 in total doctor visit /​Medicine. The Vet told her that the Blade was too Hot & it ended up burning the dogs skin, very Unprofessional, please don’t taken your Dog to Julie’s if you care about your Pet…

Please be aware that this groomer hurt my Mother inlaw’s dog! She has been groomed here for quite some time, and had been taking her previous dogs there for many years. After contacting them to inform them of the large cuts that were inflicted on her hind quarters we were informed that we signed a waiver…(Yes, you read correctly… a waiver!) How people deal with complaint is very telling about their ability to do business, and clearly this business does not care about our furry family members!
Needless to say, Sunny will not be returning to this groomer EVER!

Per the sardonic request via text message received from the of the owner of Julies, I have also posted a copy of their waiver form. Just a judicious word of advice since this obviously isn’t the first and probably won’t be the last time someone has an issue with your services, you may actually want to have forms that actually reflect your business name. Furthermore this entire post could have been avoided if you would have simply taken the time to inform the owner upon pick up, of what happened, and apologized.
Once again, this shows the utter disregard you have for your clientele.
(Oh, and by the way, Sunny is a female. Thank you for your obvious attention to detail!)

Please don’t take your dog here. He left two wounds from trimming roughly to my poor dog. He can’t sit comfortably because of their lack of professionalism. What a horrible place. I will never take my dog there again. Consider yourselves warned!

a good friend of mine just used my Unilocal account to post a comment regarding your business, you are very aware of this situations cause she called you this morning but you were very rude and hanged up the phone on her. instead of you fixing the problem and listening to the complaint. this is in regards to her 2 dogs which is dolly and pokey.
her blood pressure shoots up this morning because of your response to her and she does not need any refund or any money from you but to make sure that you do the best for your customer and all the pets you’re grooming Mr. J. Villa.

So I’ve taken my dog here ever since I got him as a puppy. Have not, and plan to not take him anywhere but here. Everything about this place is outstanding. From their customer service to the dog grooming. I advice people that want an affordable and great service to you and your dog, to come here ! I’ll post before and after pics of my dog Chief.

This review is long overdue. I have brought my dog, Ozzy a cocker spaniel, to other groomers but it was never a good experience. My dog has social issues. So it was difficult to bring him anywhere and I thought there would be no hope for him getting a haircut. Not until I went to Julie’s dog grooming. They knew how to handle my dog perfectly and never had a problem at all.
Ozzy is always happy after every grooming session. Its the only place I would bring him. Thank you Julie’s team. Keep up the good work!

I love Julie’s, I bring my dog here and they do a great job I have no complaints, my dog comes rushing in. I love this place, it’s small the staff is generous and they love what they do, you can tell the staff really loves dogs. I would recommend this place 100 percent.

I have a Maltipoo and Maltese who USED to get groomed by the previous owner Julie. Now that there are new groomers, the quality of the shampoos or products may be different out cheaper brand, the hair CUTS ARE HORRIBLE. My maltese has returned very itchy, red spots (allergic reaction) throughout her body on two separate visits. I thought it would be a single event but she came back that way three different times. So bad I had to rinse her body with oatmeal water. I did bring it to their attention but it appeared that nothing was changed.
Sorry guys we are not going back since Julie the previous groomer has left

Will not return. I’m not sure how they got great reviews. I am extremely disappointed in their service.
I did a walk in and was comfortable with the price. $ 45. I filled out a card and underlined that my cat has a mole and to please be careful of it. I was getting a lion cut for my cat. I also told the gentleman at the reception.
I picked up my cat 4 hours later. My poor cat had his whiskers cut! WT? I can understand if you make a mistake, that would be ok if you had told me. I brought my cat home and had to find out myself. Also, the mole was cut when I told them he had a mole and even underlined it on the card! HELLO? They also said they suppressed my cats glands. He is still scooting his «bottom» on the floor indicating to me they did no such thing, and his nails are still SHARP! Horrible grooming.
DONT BE FOOLED! THE ONLY PLACE I WILL TAKE MY CAT WILL BE B– ELEGANT. Von is the BEST! I called her on Tuesday and she didn’t pick up, so I was impatient and took them to Julie’s. NEVER AGAIN!

I love Julie’s Dog grooming because my pups love going to Julie’s. They are happy when I leave them in their care and so peaceful when I pick them up.
That’s what cements my loyalty. Pups say it all. It’s not just the excellent cuts & grooming that matters but the trust my dogs exude while in their care.
They are professional and easy going. Always clean & punctual.

I had an appointment at 12 pm on a Thursday but was running late so I called to make sure it would be fine. He told me there was no problems and I got there around 12:15. My dogs were scared they don’t go to the groomers regularly and it was sweet the way the guy at the counter introduced himself and then talked to them as they went to the back. I heard him tell the groomers to be careful cause my dogs were scared, and I like that he communicated that with his team it made me feel more at ease with leaving them.
I asked him about 20 questions before I left and then called with one more after. I really like how he answered questions and was patient. My dogs came out and I figured they were scared they might have a nic here and there. NOPE! That means they know how to handle them pretty well.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because they only take cash or check and I usually never carry either. And because when I picked them up they were thirsty from 12:30 — 3:00 they had been there. It wasn’t that long but still next time I’ll ask them to leave a bowel of water.

I love this place. This is the only place that I take my beloved Tashi to for all her grooming needs. They do a fantastic job; are extremely attentive, courteous and fairly quick; and have reasonable prices. What else could you ask for? Oh they even do mohawks! They are stylists, not groomers. Love them!
PS I was hesitant to do an actual Unilocal post because I did not want a swarm of persons to bombard my secret dog stylist place. But, one must share the awesome finds with others.
