Linda is very sweet and my haircut came out great!

I just got the best haircut of my life from Xavier at Juan Juan. I have been to Gavert Atelier, Tom Brophy, Fred Segal and a couple of others not being 100% satisfied. But then, I met Xavier and he gave me be best layers. Also he transformed my super dry brittle hair to silky soft with a great dye job. The best of all is he just a really cool and kind person. I hope you get to meet him also, you won’t regret it. If your gonna spend the money, make it worthwhile ;)

I absolutely loved my experience today! I had an afternoon appointment with Xavier. He took time to ask me what I was looking for style wise, how long I like to spend doing my hair, etc… then provided a recommendation to suit my needs. Cut and blow dry were done in just over an hour. He has a great bubbly personality and the experience was perfect! I would 100% recommend him!

Absolutely the Worst Hair Salon in Los Angeles. They have 1 capable colorist, Havana, and she’s only there 1 day a week.
Clients have to reserve 1 month in advance and can get bounced last minute, because the level of sheer Snobbery at this Salon is so HIGH, that some people are really treated better than you, Any Day Of the Week.
Probably the ones who tip $ 150 to $ 200 on their way out.
Save yourself the hassle… and the attitude, because they lay it out really thick!

I have been coming to get my hair cut at Juan Juan Brentwood for several years. I can’t tell you how much I look forward to visiting the salon on my «spa day.» It’s not just the environment is beautiful, relaxing, and complete aesthetically pleasing to the senses, but the staff is always warm, welcoming and thoroughly professional. Xavier is the stylist who cuts my hair. He is a true talent, and always gives 110 percent to make sure that I am completely satisfied with my hair cut. He has also cuts and colors my daughter’s hair, and always went above and beyond to provide unparalleled excellent service for a reasonable price.
Xavier is a true professional, always friendly, welcoming and committed to give his customers the service they deserve. He is an in demand hair and make-​up stylist for photo and film shoots, fashion week in New York, and for his high profile clientele. What I like about Xavier is that he gives the same level of service, passion, commitment and excellence no matter who the client is – from the regular «Joe» off the street to high level CEO’s of companies and even celebrities. Salon day at Juan Juan is a monthly event that I treasure, a welcome respite from my hectic schedule. Havannah (I hope I spelled her name right) is the best for color:) She is amazing with highlights and always gives my hair the boost it needs. On my last appointment she used a gloss while rinsing me out that made my hair look healthy and full which is an accomplishment in itself, lol. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable; greatly appreciated. Just remember that each service here is booked separately so to save couple of bucks I always blow dry and style my own hair before leaving. They will set you up with everything you need, blowdryer, heating tools and products and never rush you along which I find refreshing. For blonde hair Juan Juan is the place to go!

I have only been to this salon for eye lash extensions from Tammi. I love Tammi, I actually followed her from a previous location. She is punctual, flexible when scheduling, and always cheerful.
I definitely want to check out the stylist at the salon after a few eye lash appointments. Everyone is super friendly and out going.
My only complaint would be the lack of parking, but it is LA and parking is part of LA life. :)

Ask for Hannah! Came in for a major hair transformation. Went from curly long hair to a short and sweet pixie cut! Hannah gave me exactly what I was looking for when i came in to the salon. She helped me face my fear and cut off all my hair. This new haircut has me feeling confident and attractive. Thank you so much Hannah (:

My hair is absolutely beautiful, my color has never look so amazing, Havana is the best colorist there is! I highly recommend her, highlights, ombré and balayage (my personal favorite) all of thee above are done to perfection by this beauty! She’s a delight and so easy to talk to as well! I will never allow anyone else to touch my hair again. Havana is my girl!

I just had my hair done by Xavier and all I can say is thank you thank you thank you for fixing my blonde! He is amazing and took his time paying attention to detail even though I was way past my allotted time frame. My hair has never looked better and I am so happy to have found him!

Jennifer is the best colorist in town. My previous colorist left me with brassy and dead looking hair. When I went to Jennifer, she first color corrected my hair and then put beautiful radiant blonde highlights around my face. She is very professional and friendly. The salon staff are also very professional and accommodating. I also highly recommend Sean for haircut. He is the first person who actually listened to what I wanted before cutting my hair. His haircut added volume and bounce, and the long layers fall perfectly into place when I style my hair.

Got my haircut by B. and it looks awesome! This is the second time I’ve had her cut my hair and I love the way she does it. I felt like the biggest jerk in the world for showing up late to my appointment (socal traffic…) but she still took me in and was nice about it and for that I am super grateful. I recommend this place (especially B.) to everyone because they do an incredible job. I mean, I live in Corona and drive all the way out there for a haircut– that’s how awesome B. is!

I got an awesome haircut from Cesar ! He did just what I wanted– a nice trim on the
ends and my layers cleaned up. I highly recommend him. Very precise and professional! The salon is very nice and contemporary.

This salon is upscale, modern and spacious. I really want to like this salon so im going to provide some feedback on areas for improvement. The first time i came i was happy with the results. But during my recent visit i noticed:
Upon arrival i was directed to go change. No one offered me anything to drink. I looked around and found nothing. If you are not offering your customers refreshment then at least set a water pitcher out.
I spend 10 mins explaining what i wanted but i realized it was all forgotten as soon as the stylist stepped away to get color. Results… well if u dont pay attention to what your customer ask then ur not going to get good results.
The whole process was super messy i got color all over my face neck hands and probly my clothes too. The handkerchief size towel did nothing to dry your hair. I walked out with a wet back from water dripping down from the wash.
Oh and you might want to have the cleaning crew come in in the evening so when your customers arrive then salon is clean. The floor was dirty and bathroom smelly funky and no hand towels… this is in the morning.

Hands down HAVANA is the best colorist in town. Book her now!
Repeatedly, the grey coverage (not an easy task!) and highlights are perfect and I continue to receive countless compliments. She’s a super sweet, down to earth, hilarious, TALENTED stylist and just a joy to be around ! I couldn’t recommend her any higher.

Xavier is great for cuts. I live with four other women, three of whom swear by Xavier. He’s fun to chat with and does a great job with a variety of hair types. I’ve told him that I don’t dry my hair or style it and only cut it maybe twice a year, and he’s great at giving me cuts that don’t require upkeep and grow out well. Maybe one day I’ll learn to take care of my hair like an adult.
I’ve seen Caroline for color twice and haven’t been thrilled with the results. The first time I told her at least three times I wanted very, very subtle highlights, nothing streaky. I left with at least two skunk streaks in my dark brown hair. Overall it looked ok although it was much more noticeable than I wanted.
I shouldn’t have gone back the second time but it was convenient so I tried her again. I repeated that I wanted something subtle and natural-​looking and my hair is now pretty much ombré. She’s very nice and will reassure you that she’s doing what you asked for, but if you actually want subtle color, I’d go to someone else. It’s too expensive for them to not really listen to what you want.

i was sad when Xavier left SF but it was fate that I would have to move to LA for work. He’s still doing amazing work and i see him regularly for cut and color !

Really like this salon! Coming from NYC I think I am pretty picky. My color by Havana and
cut by Sarah are of such quality and they both make me feel completely comfortable. I have never had trouble getting an appointment on short notice. A great experience — you won’t be disappointed.
