James T. Lee, DDS

This is my 1^st Unilocal review. I’m honored to give it to Dr. Lee and his tremendous team (Sylvia, Susie & Elizabeth). Dr. Lee & Susie were always very candid & upfront about what was going on in my mouth. I actually learned a lot during the process (Tori bone anyone?). Each visit felt like I was going to see old friends and catch up. I had my braces removed this week and will definitely miss my once a month appointments here. The 2yrs flew by. If you’re looking for top of the line orthodontic care, Dr. Lee is THE dentist to see in Los Angeles. I have the perfect smile to prove it!!!

Had my second visit to Dr. Lee’s office today and all I could think was, «I wish every doctor’s office was this professional and that every visit was this easy and pleasant!» Everyone — from Sylvia (office manager) to Dr. Lee himself — are incredibly sharp, thorough, professional, and friendly.
I should note that Dr. Lee and Sylvia accommodated a procedure I needed done even though it was not their preference to perform it. They listened to my need and together we agreed on a mutually agreeable solution to the issue. As an aside, before we agreed to go through with the procedure, Sylvia said the doctor would see me for it and not charge me if he ultimately couldn’t help — which I think says a lot about how they treat their patients (they’re not nickel-​and-​diming — they want to do the right thing and they want people to have good experiences with their offices, not frustrating ones). I felt treated extremely fairly and extremely well.
I don’t know if I’ll have to return to an ortho again in a long time, but I would expect to take my kids here when they end up needing an evaluation or braces at some point — even though Dr. Lee’s office is not the most convenient to my home, I can’t imagine doing (health) business with a better practice. Plus, they’re really my style: no frills and not a «factory» pushing you to buy every service and do more work than you need done (which unfortunately I found to be the case when I consulted with other ortho practices in LA before seeing Dr. Lee).

Honored to be the first reviewer. The staff are some of the most hardest working folks I have met. All are dedicated to their craft and I am so grateful to have cross paths with this office. My braces were removed today and I couldn’t be happier. I am the type that gets nervous at the dentist, but this place makes you fee like you’re in a haven despite how busy the office can get. I believe it’s a true testament of how good they are. Everyone takes initiative to improve the quality of care you receive. Dr. Lee and the staff are great! There were many complications with my teeth (worn out teeth, chipped tooth, etc.) and Dr. Lee and his staff went above and beyond to provide a smile I never conceived would be possible. From the bottom of my heart, this place has my best regards. Thank you! I will recommend friends and family to the office of Dr. Lee.
IMPORTANT NOTE: He loves cupcakes. He’s about that life. If you want to thank him, I can’t think of a better way to appreciate him and his staff by gifting cupcakes. (Specifically Red Velvet)
