Found Evelyn on Unilocal this morning and was fed up with my skin! I needed a facial ASAP. Surprisingly she was available right away with an excellent price. Plenty of parking and it’s at a nice location.
Evelyn asked a lot of questions and made sure that I was comfortable at all times. I got the microderm and the pumpkin enzyme peel facial and it smelled so good! Not only that, she really went to town on my extractions… I used to work for a med spa and the estheticians never did what she did! My face is still a little red (6 hours later) but I asked her to get out as many as she could and we left the peel on a little longer because I’d give my face time to heal. She really took her time since she didn’t have another appointment right away and I really appreciated the opportunity to relax instead of feeling rushed and having someone just take my money and not carer about doing a good job.
I also liked that she didn’t push any product, but did recommend a good suncreen. I’ll definitely be back to see Evelyn again and I highly recommend her.

I bought a living social coupon because I saw that it included extractions. My skin is generally clear but I had 3 visible blemishes that broke out and I needed to get rid of them before I lost my mind.
While getting the extractions I was told not
To touch my pimples because it’ll then turn to blackheads and that’s harder for her to extract. #1. I never touch my face or play with my acne. I know better than that. #2. Isn’t that why people pay to get extractions?
Looked in the mirror after to check out the extractions… not only did she irritate my skin (which is normal after extractions) but the blemishes were still there. Nothing was extracted.
A month later, I’m still living with scars from that horrible experience. And yup. The blemishes are still there. I’ll just go to my dermatologist next time.

I had a wonderful experience here getting a facial from Evelyn. I left feeling relaxed and with my skin feeling great! She definitely uses quality products. I will be returning as well as recommending her to my friends.

I have had many facials and know a good one, and Evelyn is amazing! Not only does my skin feel better from the lovely treatments, I also feel completely relaxed and pampered. Evelyn pays attention to all details from the skin care to the client’s comfort. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to relax while getting beautiful skin.

Got a coupon from Living Social and had Evelyn do an amazing Pumpkin mask treatment. It was heavenly! She was so gentle and when I told her I had sensitivity to pain, she was very attentive during the extraction part of the facial. It was such a nice experience and my face looked amazing for the next couple of weeks, it glowed!
I will be going back for sure!

I loved it! I got a deal on Living Social for $ 48 for a $ 105 1 hour facial. It was fantastic. Totally relaxing with the massage lots of time on extraction. Evelyn is so nice, very kind (sincerely not in a fake gooey way) and she answered all my questions about different products, etc. I was still texting her after the facial to get some advice on skin care! Definitely go and bring a big tip because you will want to!

I bought a deal from Living Social for a facial here. And to be honest, I’ve only ever received two facials in my life, so I don’t have much to compare this experience to. But, Evelyn was fantastic! She was extremely attentive and has a fantastic, intuitive touch. She was focused on me during the entire session (not like reviews of other places I’ve read, where they put a mask on your face and leave the room). If she wasn’t massaging something into my face, then she was massaging my shoulders or neck. It was so nice and relaxing. And, of course, my skin looks and feels fantastic!
Another great thing was that she did not try to upsell me more treatments or products AT ALL. My skin is in pretty good shape, so I don’t need much extra anyway. But I will definitely be back to give my skin some TLC, and I won’t mind paying the full price at all. Totally worth it!

I am a 38 year old woman with acne. I was having one of my breakouts and I have had enough with products that don’t work for me. I decided to try this place based on a few reviews I saw on Unilocal.It is also not too far from my home. I was so happy!
First of all, it is located inside of Spa Girl. It is so charming and girly inside. I loved the décor and waiting area. Evelyn, was very flexible with scheduling. I had to reschedule a few times and she was so nice to accommodate me. I was originally trying to have microdermabrasion but after speaking with me and learning about all my skin problems, Evelyn customized a plan to get me back to «make-​up optional» skin. She recommended a detox facial with a follow up in a four weeks. The facial was supposed to be uncomfortable but it was very relaxing. Evelyn is a pro. She recommended ways to protect my skin and explained every process of the facial. This facial causes some pealing in order to start to clear my skin. Evelyn sent me a text the next morning to see how my skin was feeling and to remind me to moisturizer and protect. It was a great gesture.
Over all, I was super happy with my visit and trust her completely with my skin. Can’t wait to go back in four weeks. :))

One word — WOW!
I’m in Los Angeles for the weekend and thought to avail of spa services (facial, nails, etc.) around here as obviously, it seems cheaper than New York.
I asked my friend and she recommended, Jade Skin & Body Care.
Luckily, the esthetician — Evelyn was able to accommodate me for a last minute appointment after I explained that I’m only going to be in town for the weekend.
The service — WOW! If charged in NY, it would have costed me $ 250. I was charged not even half of this amount. She used top of the line skin care products, explained every procedure and took her time and gave me THE BEST facial experience ever! Forget about the upscale NY spas, this beats them all!
The esthetician, Evelyn — Experienced, professional and very knowledgeable about skin care. She nailed my issues in the head and catered my facial to my needs and what’s required not so much as what will give her the most $$. Very honest and really sweet.
I wish I live in LA else I’d come here every two weeks.
Evelyn is clearly one of the best in LA with prices that cannot be beat.

I just had my first diamond microdermabrasion ever. It was awesome. I found the business online and decided to try it out because the prices are very reasonable and it’s close to my house. My first impression of the place was great. It was cute, clean, the receptionist was lovely, easy parking. Evelyn did my treatment and she was so nice. She took the time to talk with me about my concerns about my skin and then made sure to give those areas extra special attention during the treatment. She is great to talk to when you feel like chatting and she senses when to let you just relax. She also did a facial in addition to the microdermabrasion and the whole thing together was about 70 minutes. I never felt like she was rushing or worrying about time. I really can’t say enough positive stuff about the experience. My skin now feels very smooth and I can’t wait for my next treatment. I highly recommend Evelyn and Jade Skin and Body Care.

My wife has been frequenting Jade Skin and Body Care, and as always, like a dutiful husband bound to an eternal contract called marriage, I give her the most beautiful compliments. Which is a matter of fact, very true. In fact, when I come to pick her up, I get excited! The excitement is like picking up your car after its been completely detailed (manly metaphor).
Anyhoo, I came to pick my wife up, but the session took a little longer than usual. Turns out, Evelyn liked my wife so much she gave her an extra special. So there she stood, looking all angelic and excited after her session — my wife then blurted out the words «You should try it!». She was trying to convince me to get a facial… but I’m a man — a very manly man! But since there were no other guys in the waiting room to be embarrassed with, and football doesn’t start until 2 hours after, I took the bait.
I met Evelyn all pettite, bubbly and sweet, as she led me to the room. She massaged my face, and five minutes into it, I went to deep sleep — much like what Leonardo had in Inception. Too bad I can’t recall anything she did, but whatever it was — it was fantastic! I just remember Evelyn’s light and smooth touch on my face and then KO faster than Ricky Hatton could hit the canvas. My face did have a different glow on it, and according to my wife, I looked 10 years younger (which makes me 13 years old?). Evelyn educated me on how to properly take care of my skin. So this manly man, this masculine of a man, this Adonis reincarnate, has made an appointment with Evelyn for next week… right before I go out with the boys for some pints. yey!

I have been going to Evelyn even before she opened her place. She makes you feel right at home. Her hands are so light on your face you feel so pampered and relaxed. And yet, you get the best result you want for your face, flawless and rejuvenated. What I like about her is that she does not impose her services on you but asks you what your goal is and she will give you her best advice and recommendations. I would recommend her facial and I promise you you will get compliments the minute you walk out of her spa. It’s the best investment you will ever have. It’s worth every penny. She is the best!
