Vito’s Pizza on N. La Cienega Blvd. I love pizza. To me how can you mess up melted cheese, right? But no… I had a dreadful experience today at Vito’s. I love the posters of the little boy on the walls and that counts for something but… not enough. I tried a slice of cheese pizza and a slice of veggie pizza. BOTH crusts were like biting into rubber. REALLY? I haven’t had THAT experience. I was very disappointed… The cheese was flavorless. There’s no reason for that! I won’t be back. And the prices! 2 slices for $ 8.75. Something is very wrong here.

Doheny, Cahuenga, La Brea… tar pits. LoJolla, Sequoia, La Brea… tar pits. You can keep Alvarado, Santa Monica, even Beverly Drive. Vine may be fine, but for mine, I want to be alive and settle down in my La Brea Tar Pits — where nobody’s dreams come true. Oh, and there’s an Anawalt Lumber. Worth the trip! Tito’s Tacos is nearby as well.

I’m a fan of this intersection. It’s a lot less sketch compared to Sepulveda and Sawtelle, which is the next larger intersection. You can catch the 6 around here, and watch bumper to bumper traffic around 5−6pm. Wouldn’t walk alone past dark though(goes for just about pretty much any intersection in LA).

I didn’t realize it was absolutely mandatory to have an off-roading vehicle to successfully navigate this intersection.
