Honestly one of the best places I’ve ever been to get a hair cut and style. Mireya is the best! She always gives me what I ask for and gives me the best advice. I hate getting cuts but I’m so comfortable leaving my hair in her hands!

I have been a client to Rosy for over 5 years. She is simply the most caring person I’ve met, and I don’t mean this as a person (although she is), I mean as a stylist. She has cared for my hair, remembering my likes and dislikes, applying treatments that are necessary, and even declining to do something to my hair until I fully understood what I was requesting. The facility is really nice and newly remodeled. I love the interaction between stylists and clients. They are not fake and overbearing; they actually get to know you. I have had my hair cut, styled, and dyed by Luz and Esmeralda (my sister loves Luz) and I have been satisfied. Of course my to-​go girl is Rosy. I was recommended this place to multiple people, whom I know will not go anywhere else after coming to Imagen.

I really wanted to like this place! Nothing wrong with the salon. I thought it was quite nice. But that lady emeralda is a total joke! Idk how can they employ someone so vile! First I sit in the chair!, i ask her for a haircut as I’m explaining to her how I want my hair she looks away completely ignoring me. Then proceeds to tell me how much she can’t stand some of her coworkers!, and how backstabbing they are and blah blah! I don’t want to hear that shit I’m there for me time! To relax and get cute!. Then she gets a phone call, and hands me the phone and asks me to translate for her cuz she can’t speak English!, she literally had me book an appointment for the salon like I was a secretary RUDE… she gives me a trim when I asked for a specific haircut. Then as I’m trying to tell her I don’t like my haircut a vendor comes thru the door she goes and buys god knows what again completely ignoring me!, then she tries to remove my blackheads with this dirty looking instrument NO… she gives that salon a bad name… She needs to be more professional, and actually pay attention to her customers! Give that woman some dam training on her customer service skills. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable at a salon. Definitely not going back! EVER!

So for me giving the confidence and the trust to someone cutting my hair is very hard. I had been going to the same barber for years and I loved her but I needed a change. I was recommended to this salon by a friend who comes here and yes I must admit I was a bit skeptical at first and it took me another month after the referral to actually go in and have my hair cut. All of the employees there are very sweet and very professional which I love! I was attended to by Brenda one of the stylist there and let me tell you my hair has never been better my entire life. Brenda was amazing, very talented, and very knowledgeable in her craft. She immediately took a look at my hair and recommended some products that would help me with my dandruff problem. I immediately thought she was just trying to sell me a product but decided to give it a chance. The results were incredible, and my dandruff has cleared up which has never happened to me before. I now go regularly to see Brenda and I love that she has no problem answering any questions that I might have in regards to my hair and hair care. My hair since going there has become so much more healthy looking and silk like. On top of this I had Brenda do my eyebrows and everyone tells me that they have never looked better. I would give this place 10 stars if I could but unfortunately I cant. If you are looking for a new spot or just wondering about the kind of service and skills set this place has trust me it is amazing!

I always come and get my hair cut here. Great service and rather quick. The workers have great attitude and I’ve even met others who were highly satisfied with how their hair was done. I only get a haircut but it’s always done great and I get so many compliments. I would rate six if I could. I will be coming for many years here so long as their standards stay relatively the same.

I want say I don’t know how some people can complain about imagen hair salon. I have been coming here for 2 years I come every 2 weeks to get my straighten and every 2 to 3 months for color touch up. Since I have been coming iv only seen people leaving with a smile because they look good. I know I always leave looking good ready to hit the town thanks to emerald a (daughter) she is so nice and sweet. Everyone there makes me feel welcomed every time I walk in and they treat everyone there very good. They even do extra sometimes at no cost. I truly enjoy imagen and look forward to keep coming to see all the ladies. They work hard and do good work. You need to come for yourself to see. Don’t judge off of others opinions. Esmeralda is great and the owner is great to. See you here I will be the one with a smile walking out.

I never personally got my hair cut with Esmeralda but my sister did and it always came out great when she did it. Im giving it one stars because i went in to trim my bangs they were covering my eyes, so i explained in detail to the daughter (Esmeralda) how i want them long under my eyebrows like the early zooey Deschanel and she made me look like Bai Ling in 2002! It was horrible, she could see i was upset and she felt she did a poor job she couldn’t look at me straight in the eye and the worst part is she was still charging me knowing she screwed up!

Always come here for my eyebrows. Have done my hair a couple times always comes out terrible and they still expect a payment. All stylists have a bad attitude like they don’t want to be here. Wait time is ridiculous when Not busy. Waiting for stylists to finish doing their own hair while 4+ customers wait… Terrible service. Never coming again

I’ve been going to this salon for a couple of years and will keep going back. The stylist are awesome and offer their professional opinion. My kids love going with Esmeraldita because she always cuts her hair the way she likes.

I use to come here to get my eyebrows threaded but honestly this shop is pricy. The place is nice but the waiting line is long. They tend to speak among themselves so I felt a little left out. I’ve had a cut there but I felt as if they rushed my hair cut… Idk maybe it was just me. I’ll give it another try.

What’s the name of the girl that be doing the eyebrows? She gets down!

I went to Imagen to get highlights on my dark hair with Martin. I asked him if my hair would be ok to be highlighted and he said yes. My hair turned out to look like a skunk, literally white chunky highlights with my dark hair and a really bad haircut that I didn’t even ask for. He recommended the hair cut, I trusted him, and it turned out to be asymmetrical layers and I had just cut my hair two months ago at an expensive hair salon for him to mess it up. The highlights were also different colors and Martin over charged me about 80 dollars on my highlights AND I tipped him to be nice. I wish I can take it back. Not a recommended place for first time highlighting or hair cutting… not good Martin. so disappointed

Rocio is just great! For dying, cuts, she’s a master at her craft. She takes her time and makes sure you leave luving your new hair style. They also do threading there. It hurts like a muther, but it’s worth the pain. Eyebrows are nicely shaped.

For many years, this is the only place I would get my eyebrows threaded… they always look better than waxing but sometimes its inconvenient to come here.
They also do hair here… I have had bad experiences with that so this review is strictly for EYEBROW THREADING.
Sometimes the wait is long, and sometimes parking is a hassle but I have always been satisfied with the way my eyebrows look

I love the service here, mainly because I’ve been going to this salon my entire life. (Seventeen years, but it’s still great, right?) Anyways, I highly recommend Rocio. Or Esmeralda. Their seats are near the back, but the most fun is back there.
This salon is either bustling or empty, but it’s always nice and sometimes even fun. The women there tend to get out of hand with their chit chat, but the stylists keep each other in check and help each other out.
It is always tidy, but the cons are: The main language spoken is Spanish, you cannot schedule an appointment for anything other than a hairstyle session, and it’s a fairly small hair salon.
The reason why I go is because Rocio is just amazing with my hair and I always make sure to go to her with my hair dilemmas. Being a struggling trichotillomaniac who needs a new hair style every few months, Rocio helps manage and treat my hair. She has the hands of a goddess, and her salon is just a few blocks away from my home. She gives great advice on beauty, and they have an okay selection of magazines in English and Spanish. AND it’s not as expensive as other salons. Which, in my opinion, makes it all even better!
