Iggy’s Diner

It’s just so slow! The food is fine the atmosphere is cool, but the service is unbearable. If you have an hour to kill this place is alright but otherwise you just need to be a really patient person to enjoy this place. I couldn’t imagine going here if I didn’t have to because of the school dining halls. It’s just not that good and it takes forever. Some things on the menu are alright, but the service is so SLOW.

I always wanted to like Iggy’s. It’s a cool place and great for late night cravings but 9 times out of 10 it will let you down. As I am graduating LMU I will always feel disappointed Iggy’s never satisfied me. Every time it’s something. Either the fries are old and cold, or the food tastes bad or its poorly made. Many times the order is wrong or takes over 20 minutes to get. In all the years coming here I have constantly thought the blame falls on the cooks and poor management.
It also doesn’t make any sense that the person taking all the orders is also the person calling out food, especially when it is busy. Sometimes I can see my food just sitting there for 10 minutes but everyone is too busy to call out the number.
It was a horrible decision when they took away curly fries (the only good thing there). Just shows you how out of touch the management is with their customers. Not surprised they brought them back!
They make decent milk shakes and root beer float but their food is usually sloppy, greasy, or tastes bad. Recently my gf pancakes tasted like the batter went sour or rotten. There are so many bad memories here from the food it just makes me upset even thinking about it.
While I might miss certain things about LMU I will definitely not miss Iggy’s

Iggy’s is on the campus of LMU and its a great place to go on campus. The food is ok but it takes a while to receive your food. if you are in a hurry you should order on tapingo.
