The bakery is good. Their prices are decent when it comes to the bread. The bread taste good and its soft. I do recommend their bakery. Food was also good, a little on the pricey side. I tried their res con papas and the flavor was great! They serve it with rice. I also tried their pupusa de chicharron & cheese. It taste good but it was a little cold. I didnt like that. The greeting from the ladies we dealt with was OK except one lady she was a little rude when this lady walked in(the lady was not Hispanic) and asked her a question. She completely ignored her and I did not like that. Overall the place was good food was good and I will go back.

I had just gotten off work and was heading home at 6am and thought, how sweet it would be to get some pan dulce fresh from the bakery. Well, I must admit it’s my fault, because I could hear and feel how hard and hollow the bread was as they knocked each other when I carelessly assembled them upon my tray. I should have known. I did know, I just didn’t want to believe it. I was in complete denial. Sure enough, when I got home all my fears had materialized. It was hard, stale and hollow. Not even 10 – 15 seconds in the microwave was saving this man’s broken heart. The only reason I gave them two stars is I still can’t believe that a bakery could sell pan that terrible. Almost like I think there was something wrong with me, but there isn’t. I will not be back.

All the breads are good and cheap. I’ve only been here a few times but I’ve never been disappointed.

Was there twice it’s very much in the«hood» however they have freshly baked Mexican and Central American pastries and cheeses. I got the Los Altos cheese there which is very similar to what my better half enjoyed when she grew up in Colombia. So now I have to go there more often for that cheese, which the sell by the pound.

What a disappointment. We started at Adelita’s not far from Huicho’s. I had my heart set on going back because I hadn’t been since the early 90s. Supposedly they closed at 10 p.m. but, by the time we got there at 8:30, they were already shutting down kitchen. What we wanted had already been put away so we were sent to Huicho’s, which is under the same ownership. An actual OWNER was at Adelita’s at that particular moment, and he personally called ahead to be sure Huicho’s had the nacatamales and pupusas we were looking for. He swore it would all be there and that Huicho’s was ready for us. Less than 5 minutes later we were at the counter at Huicho’s and nobody had any idea what we were talking about. So, we started over. Can we have some nacatamales? NO, sorry… all out. Can we have some pupusas? NO, sorry… all out. We started to wonder if we were in the right place so we asked. Yes, Huicho’s and Adelita’s are owned by the same people. By this time we were ravenous so we ordered whatever was available. Again, what a disappointment. The yucca frita was hard enough to gouge our gums and was inedible until we soaked it in some salsa. The Mexican tamales were dry and crumbly. How can something with LARD be that dry?! The silver lining in this evening? Mateo’s Ice Cream was next door.

Delicious pan dulce! The largest selection I’ve ever seen… then again I’ve only been into two panaderias in my life. But others agree it’s pretty large. You’re greeted at the door with the amazing aroma of sweets and tortillas. The batch we bought today was STILLWARM. Min $ 10 purchase for credit, and I have yet to spend that much money there. There’s an ATM inside, too. Haven’t tried the food on the other side of the restaurant.

nice place to buy fresh tortillas unless you prefer to grind the corn on your own at home. I’ve had better pan dulce elsewhere
