We’ve used Hosep’s four times now for body work after being hit by other drivers. Not only have they done thorough, impeccable work, on time or ahead of schedule; owner Sharam is extremely responsive, ethical, and helpful in navigating the world of insurance claims.
Every insurance company has handled claims differently, and Sharam has been there to guide us through the process. Whether advising on filing a claim with the State of California Insurance Review Board after the unethical practices of one of the insurance companies, or personally driving me to the car rental location when Enterprise failed to pick me up as scheduled, Sharam goes above and beyond. He even fixed the seat belt buckle that was triggering my SRS light the morning I dropped off my car.
I am not surprised that he has built a solid relationship with Stacey at Affordable Care across the street — another business that consistently does the job right, with impeccable customer service. Highly recommend.

Sharam has been helping me with ALL my auto repair needs since 1999. He’s extremely professional, caring, family oriented, and ALWAYS goes ABOVE and BEYOND with ALL my auto issues. He has helped me with insurance companies, rental vehicles, friend’s autos, and his estimates are VERY GOOD. Overall, his repair team are friendly, courteous, knowledgable, and pretty smart. Josep’s REALLY is the place to take your vehicle to get fixed.
EVERY vehicle Schram has repaired (17) has looked just as good as prior to the accident and in most cases Schramm goes out of his way to fix any minor damages WITHOUT CHARGE as a friendly perk. Whereas, other auto repair places would NOT.
Josep’s is THE HOLLYWOOD SUPERSTAR in the auto repair industry and by FAR the BEST in town. I’ll be MORE than happy to give you more details if you need them.

THIS PLACE IS CLEARLY SHADY! I will begin by saying how they agreed to reimburse me for the work they were paid to do by my insurance company and didn’t…then STOPPED PAYMENT ON THE CHECK!!! And as far as the work they did? I think the pictures speak for themselves. The paint didn’t match, had debris in it, and the body work was uneven and sloppy. The owner’s initial response to their terrible work was … «When your car has body damage it will never look the same way again.» Mind you, this was only one dent in the wheel well. They didn’t even remove a stone guard sticker & painted OVER IT claiming that’s what the insurance company wanted, which wasn’t true. The sticker costs approx. $ 10! Also, they didn’t fix the pinstripes the insurance company paid them to repair claiming it wasn’t something they could do. (By the way, another body shop did it in under an hour.) My insurance claim adjuster even paid Hosep’s a visit to investigate their reluctance with completing some of the repairs.
Hosep’s kept my car for 6 WEEKS and after having to fight to have it fixed correctly it STILL wasn’t done right. In the end, Hosep’s just dismissed my disappointment saying «I’m sorry you’re not happy.» Over 2 months of hassle over a minor fender bender, numerous phone calls, arguments, and a final frustrating conversation where they explained that painting over a sticker rather than removing it is just what they do… I AM BEYOND UPSET. The only thing I can do now is let people know through Unilocal… DON’T GO TO HOSEP’S!

I had a fantastic experience working with Sharam to get my car fixed after it was rear-​ended. The other driver’s insurance was being very difficult and didn’t send someone to inspect the damage until a full week after they said they would. In the meantime I was in a rental car and had been suckered into paying for insurance on the rental that I didn’t need. The cost was adding up quickly, and in the abyss of unhelpful insurance agents, Sharam was compassionate, understanding, and effective. He got my car back to me a full six days before the insurance inspector estimated it would be done AND did a beautiful job! My car looks better than it did before the accident. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

This place and everybody there is impeccably amazing. I haven’t been to very many body shops in LA but I can hardly think that there’s a better one. I had a slight bumper issue — it was a little loose on the front right and I just needed it reattached and flush so I could pass an inspection to drive for Über. I am so sure a lot of other places would’ve tried to tell me I needed a new bumper altogether or would’ve just overcharged me on the work. Sharam said it would only be $ 50 an hour for the labor but it would realistically take only a few minutes… he ended up doing the work in less than 15 minutes and for FREE! Because the work was so easily managed, he felt it unnecessary to charge me. Don’t get me wrong — I am not saying go here for free body work. But for incredibly fair, honest, high quality work and service, I would not recommend you go anywhere else. I had a few things to do to my car and had to do a lot of the labor on my own since the charges are usually way high almost everywhere you go, even for the most minor jobs. Happy to have the knowledge for future issues, but for bigger tasks I can’t manage on my own, I’m so glad I have such an awesome go-​to place now. For all my future automotive troubles, Hosep’s Body Shop is the only place I’ll be. Thank you so much for the help guys! Till next time. Cheers!

I got my initial work done here and I thought they were great. But now, years later all I hear from other body shops is what a poor job I got done by this body shop. Apparently, they saved themselves money by not taking the paint as high as it should go (they painted the entire driver’s side of my car), and instead blended it. He probably didn’t expect me to keep my car this long.
And Sharam was referred by a neighbor who has known him for years. Now what kind if deal is that?

This was as pleasant an experiece as possible given that a car accident brought me here. Sharam and his team were referred to me by my mechanic, and as the saying goes… birds of a feather flock together!

Please avoid going to this place. I really dont like writing bad reviews, but then again, I really dont like getting screwed over by places and would like to help out my fellow Unilocalers.
First, I bring my car in for a quote on my bumper. The man who runs the place, Sharam, took a look at my car and then brought my back into his office to write up a quote. While he was getting ready to get me a quote, he got a phone call, and proceeded to have a 15 minute conversation with someone about «legal» issues, and was pulling up contracts on his computer. Meanwhile, I am sitting here getting my time completely wasted. I had to end up leaving and waited until the next day for my quote. (which was higher than other places I brought my car to for reference.)
I had to go pick up my car and bring it to another shop since Hosep’s price was higher, and when I went to go pick up my car, my rear view mirror was completely broke, hanging by a cord. I asked the guys at the shop what happened and they all denied the issue, and the proceeded to «fix» my mirror with some duct tape. I had to wait until Sharam got back to his office to talk to him. I took photo’s and sent them to Sharam to prove that my mirror was broken while at his shop. While my mirror was slightly bent/​cracked, it was still functional, and not at all broken the way it was when I went to pick it up. Hosep’s did not take responsibility for something they did to my car, and treated me with disrespect. Now I am out more money because of this place and I am extremely unhappy.
In the end, this place is a disappointment, their customer service is horrible, they are untrustworthy and their prices are higher than other places. All a good reason to avoid using this Hosep’s.

Brought a car in for repair.
While the car’s rear view mirror was cracked premious to the visit — we came back to the car less than 24 hours later to find it broken completely off the car and hanging by wires. ‘Ive personally inspected the mirror prior to this happening, and it must have taken a good amount of force to break it off completely like that, even with it previously cracked.
We confronted the owner of the shop about it — he was completely unapologetic — and even when I asked him for a simple explanation and NO compensation, he refused to apologize for the inconvenience or lack of communication. A simple «we’re sorry that happened» would have sufficed, but unfortunately, he came off like just another scumbag car mechanic.
Go to JJ’s. Apparently a lot of people leave Hosep’s after a bad experience and its understandable.

Professional team with amazing customer service, fast quality work and beyond reasonable pricing!
I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone! I brought my car in at 8:30am this morning and had it back in an hour and a half. The staff was extremely friendly and more than willing to answer any and all questions that I had. They even gave me a ride to the bank.
This was by far the best experience I have EVER had when dealing with car issues. It was nice to not be jerked around for once. I will definitely be bringing my car here for any issues that I encounter as long as I live in Los Angeles.

This place is way legit. Cheapest quote that I found, with brand new car type quality work. Even fixed other scratches on my car that were not caused by the collision. Very straight forward and clear. Even took a day less to fix the car than planned.

I’ve had two experiences with this shop, both very positive. The first was for my mom’s Accord. The car was 9 years old at the time and had been resprayed once due to a previous accident. The previous shop had done a pretty shoddy job so the paint was faded, the clear coat was peeling in some places, and the car had it’s fair share of door dings to boot. They matched the paint perfectly and had all the dings gone. The car looks new again.
The second experience was having my Honda S2000 repaired here after I got rear-​ended. The impact was big enough to cause me to hit the stopped car in front of me as well, so there was pretty significant damage to the front and rear of my car. Both bumpers and my exhaust were ruined, the trunk pan was completely bent out of shape, and the radiator support in the font was tweaked as well, so the hood wouldn’t align properly.
Sharam (who runs the show here) was very helpful. He dealt with the insurance company for me, explained the whole repair up front, and went through the insurance adjuster’s estimate with me. They welded in a new trunk pan, replaced the bumpers, rear body panel, and exhaust, and straightened the radiator frame. I dropped in a few times while the repair was in progress and got to see the before-​and-​after, which was really impressive. You’d never know the car had been in an accident. The car came out looking brand new, and it was even ready a couple of days before I expected.
This place has become my go-​to shop for any body work, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

We usually only do reviews on Restaurants, but this place took care of our car and it’s hard to find honest people in the Auto biz.
Let us just say service *****, on time and took you step by step and how they were going to make our car look like it was. The car is only a year and a half old. When it was done it looked like the day I bought it. Last, price was what it was and none of this extra charge for those little things that some Auto places do to when you pick up your car. Honesty goes a long way and highly recommend them.
Cleanness– **** stars all the cars a very well taken care of and the shop is clean for an Auto body place. I went to this other place and just did not want to leave my car there, it was super dirty and dust was everywhere. The only thing is the bathroom needs work, so that’s why I gave them 4 stars, but its Auto place and never ever seen one clean.
Operations– staff was really friendly and welcoming with no sales gimmick, they handle my insurance agency with ease and none of that if, this and that! Just we will do our best to make sure that the Insurance will pay for everything we can get them to pay for, do to your accident. I could not have ask for anything more. ***** Stars.
It was a long drive for me and it was worth the time and wait to have a piece of mind, Just thought people should know, even though we do not do these types of reviews…
