Came here to check out Frances Bakery. There are a few other restaurants around the area: Sushi Gen, Aloha Café, Xlixe Pizzeria. Parking here can be a bit of a hassle. First two hours are $ 1.50 with validation. The shopping center is a bit run down looking but since there are plenty of good eats around the area, you get over it: P

Kinda run down. Most people don’t pay it much attention unless they’re there for a specific reason. There’s a pet place where you can wash your dog, a bakery, a… um…“club”, USPS place, pharmacy(on the pricey side but good in a pinch), and some other places. I mostly go here when I need to ship something via USPS.

Has Kagaya and Sushi Gen… Parking situation can be troublesome and the area feels sketchy as hell.

Lots of fantastic restaurants in this plaza. Parking is kind of annoying though but if you’re looking for some of the best places to grab some grub in Little Tokyo this would be one of them.

First 2 hours is only $ 1.50 if you get validation and $ 3 after 3hrs My cousin and I used this parking lot when we went to check out the Art in the Streets exhibit at the Geffen Contemporary location just up the street. We went to the exhibit than before we left we went to France’s Bakery to get our validation after getting some treats for ourselves. I could see why people would complain in how this parking lot may suck because we were leaving when a good amount of cars were being turned away as the lot was full.

Great Restaurants but Parking Sucks 3.5 Stars. Minus .5 stars for the crummy parking issue. They shouldn’t even charge for validation if you have to wait for parking. Parking here sucks. Even with validation you pay a $ 1.50 for most places and then. and then you still cannot find a spot to park at lunch time. This plaza encapsulates a few places I like to visit for food including Frances Bakery, a Chinese-Japanese restaurant(Manten), Aloha, Sushi Gen, and Raku. I have yet to try the famous Kagaya for shabu. Overall, this plaza is pretty cool. I just hate coming at lunch because of the parking issue. You might not find any parking or you may come out of your restaurant only to find that there is a car parked blocking yours and you cannot find the guy to move it. Can’t We all Unilocal Along?

Honda Plaza is smaller than the other shopping centers such as Weller Court, Little Tokyo Shopping Center and Japanese Village Plaza. One of my favorite bakery for macaron is here: Frances bakery. Restaurants at Honda Plaza: Sushi Gen, Manten, Burger Joint, Raku Izakaya, Kagaya Shabu, Aloha Café, Phở 21 and Tapas & Wine Bar C. HIS, a Japanese famous travel agency, is also located there. There is also JET cell that provides cell phone for sale or rent. Parking is $ 1.50 with validation. Sometimes you can park on the street if you are lucky.
