Hemphill Music Guitar Lessons

I had the pleasure of working with Jordan for the last few months. So patient and will take the class wherever you want it to go. He even does homework before your class so that you can benefit more from class. He learned then wrote out the sheet music for all the songs I liked, taught me how to read sheet music, and then worked with me every week to get better and better at playing them Thx to him I learned some flamenco from one of my all time favorite musicians Oltmart LIebert!

Where do I start! I loved my guitar lessons from Jordan! He was very patient with me starting off, mind you I had never played guitar before… When I started, we started with the basics and he helped me make sure I got a decent guitar! I have learned quite a few songs in the 6 months I took lessons! I definitely recommend lessons from Jordan if you want to have fun and play!!!

I recently joined Unilocal just to write this review, because I think that hard work and good people should be acknowledged. Hence the four-​star rating. In actuality, I would give Hemphill Music a 4.5 were that possible here. When I have been asked to rate services in the past I rarely give the highest marks because I think that there’s always room for improvement. Also, in this case, I don’t have much with which to compare.
That being noted, Jordan is a highly-​qualified and patient guitar instructor. What’s most impressive is that, while he clearly seems to know a lot about theory and all that jazz, he is very down to earth and non-​pretentious (unlike other instructors I’ve had in the past). He takes his time until you get it and will try creative ways to facilitate this. In other words, he’s a good teacher and I felt comfortable with him right away. Great sense of humor too.
On a more practical level, he’ll come to your house and was quite flexible when it came to accommodating my schedule. I’m soon moving out of state and regret that I won’t be able to continue any lessons with him, but I suppose this helps free him up to help others waiting in the wings. My short advice: definitely give him a try. I think you’ll be impressed.
