So happy I found Beki. I’ve been going to her a while now and honestly couldn’t be happier. She’s honest when it comes to pricing. Doesn’t make up a new price or forget what she charge you before. It’s a flat fee which I love. A lot of stylist in LA will bleed you dry and have you looking for someone new. Not Beki tho. She’s amazing. She does a super clean and even job. Love ya girl. I’ve been wanting to get extensions for years! I have always had shoulder length hair and was unable to grow it out. After a traumatic experience I have lost quite a bit of my hair and figured it was finally time for it. I researched a lot about all types of extensions and it’s not hard to understand why the micro bead no-​sew no-​glue are the best option.
And that’s I found about Beki, and TRUST ME, THE AWESOME REVIEWS ARE NOT IN VAIN!

I don’t have enough words to express how satisfied I have been w Beki doing my extensions. Two years now as a routine every 4 – 6 weeks. Its a casual, pleasant escape from any uptight salon and, yet, the quality and professionalism rival any of the best. And, although it has been extremely rare, if anything is ever not perfect she immediately would fix it. I often get compliments on my hair. Many closest to me don’t even realize that I have extensions until telling them. Most impressive are other stylists who complement the great work she always does in placement and care of my hair. Add in her sweet, always positive personality and there is no one else I would ever go to. In fact, I’ve flown into LA from the east coast for 2 day events and will squeeze seeing Beki in a tight schedule just to make sure she does my hair so that I can have it done right.

My first time seeing Beki a few days ago because of her fabulous Unilocal reviews, and they were right. I will definitely be going back again and again. Don’t waste your time with tape-​ins or ridiculously expensive alternatives. Microbeads are the way too go. She is super affordable (half the cost of the alternative) efficient (the whole process took about an hour and a half no joke) and the end product is fantastic. I will post pics soon. Beki is seriously awesome! I’ve had my hair for a little under a week and these are for sure the best extensions I’ve ever had! Within minutes in the consultation Beki knew exactly what hair to order and it was quick and super easy. I highly recommend being patient and having her order the hair from her supplier, as the quality is really awesome! The appointment was set for the following Saturday and I was on my way.
I came to Beki on Saturday and holy moly is she fast! The quality of her work is just fantastic and she really knows what she’s doing so it doesn’t take much time at all. We began a little after 10:30 (I’d say closer to 11, my fault, I ran into traffic) and we were all done a little before 1. Plus Beki is so nice that the time just flies by. This whole experience has made me so happy! I love my hair and Beki is the Bomb!

Okay, sooooooo… First things first KUDOS TO BEKI FOR KEEPING YOUR SHIT TOGETHER! If I were her I would have flipped. I was an hour late, I came in with wet hair and wet extensions. I can sense that she was pissed but she was so calm and respectful. I apologized many times. Once again, I’m sorry Beki! She is amazing at what she does and her personalty is so bubbly!!! She was also quiet fast! I will add picture in a bit.

Beki did a fantastic job with my extensions. She is personable, and was helpful in every way. She really cares about giving her client what they want.

Beki is hands down awesome. I was a tad nervous, but excited to get extensions because I never had them before. Well, while I was there, I really felt like a friend was doing my hair. She was very sweet and made me feel comfortable not to mention being able to answer all of my questions about my new hair (and I had a LOT). How she was able to match my hair color perfectly to order my hair for my appointment was amazing — she had me send her a picture text… and BOOM… she got the shade exactly right!
Beki is a perfectionist and it shows in her work. I HIGHLY recommend Beki if you want to get extensions!

About three and a half weeks ago, I went into see my regular hairdresser for highlights and – in my words – the world’s lightest trim, like a twelfth of an inch. To my horror, my once-​fabulous (former) hairdresser took off a lot of length – in particular, in the front, where it looked like my hair was just past my shoulders and I had all these weird wispy three-​inch strands around my face. My hair takes forever to grow, and I knew she’d set me back years in one little appointment. I was in tears every time I looked in the mirror, and I knew I had to do something about it.
Enter Beki and Hello, Hair! After doing my research on Unilocal,I went to see Beki for a consultation. She ordered me the long locks I was so desperate for, and set an appointment for two days later.
Beki works out of her studio apartment in Hollywood, and she is edgy, very friendly, and full of spunk with her long, pink extensions (which she told me she installed herself!). It took about two hours for her to install my 18-​inch blonde extensions, and we had a great conversation the whole time. When she was done, I felt both relief and a little, almost, confusion. The hair matched my natural blonde hair and highlights perfectly, and it fell all the way down my back. But I didn’t feel fantastic the way I’d hoped. To me, I looked a little unkempt. And older. Like one of those women in her 40s who’s been growing out her hair forever and needed a trim a decade ago. But I’m in my early 30s – and people generally think I’m 10 years younger than that when they first meet me. Beki seemed excited for me and told me that I shouldn’t cut the extensions because they looked so great. I was confused. I had just spent $ 490 but it wasn’t quite right.
When I got to my car, I got my mom on Facetime to get her opinion on the new look. She agreed that I looked older and like I needed a haircut. I didn’t know what to do. Were there people out there who cut extensions? Is that different than a normal haircut? Um, IDK. It was all so new to me.
Unilocal to the rescue! I found a nearby salon that specialized in extensions and, yes, they said they could take me for a cut that day. When I arrived there, their extension specialist (about whom people RAVED on Unilocal) said that Beki had done a fantastic job with the installation and the color matching. Like, incredible. But, she said, she understood why I felt like I had old hippie hair. She told me she had never heard of someone installing extensions without also cutting them and giving them shape after they were in, and blending it to the client’s natural hair. Human hair extensions, because they’re real strands of hair, aren’t all exactly the same length, so when you install them they have the effect of split ends. (Yes! That’s what it looked like to me!)
The specialist cut off the split ends and layered by extensions, blending them into my own hair. I perked up as she cut – the hair was looking better and better! Yes! This is what I had been going for!
She also explained to me that new human hair extensions are coated with wax, which makes the hair really shiny and gives it an almost-​phony look until it’s been washed four or five times. She told me that when’s she’s personally had extensions, it takes about a week before she likes them. Until then, she said, you’ll either want to curl them or put them in a side braid until the hair looks more natural.
By the time I left the salon, I was pretty in love with my new hair, which she styled in long, loose curls for me. (I posted a pic to Facebook that garnered 93 likes overnight!) And two weeks after the extensions went in, I am totally in love. I can scarcely remember how bad it looked after it all got chopped off a few weeks ago, and I like it that way.
So, Beki is fantastic, and even the extension specialist at the salon vouched for the work she did. But, at the end of the day, it would have been helpful for me to know that extensions need to be cut to give you a natural, put-​together look after they’re installed. Because I’d never had them before, I didn’t know that, and I didn’t know that the person who installs them will usually cut and style them for you.
That isn’t to say I don’t love Beki or what she does, though. Working out of her home keeps her costs low, and she does that intentionally for her clients. If you go see her (and I’d even recommend it), I hope my experience will help if you run into similar issues! xo

Beki is the absolute best. She works hard, is super humble, and completes the job honestly, effectively, and quickly. It took her 1 and ½ hours to do my full head of hair. My family and friends love it! If you have always wanted long hair but could never grow it naturally like me, Beki is the one for you!

Beki is just super amazing. I was going on a trip very soon and I hated my hair sooooo much. I was so miserable to a point I just didn’t want to go anywhere. I did have hair extension in mind for a very long time, but I’ve heard many negative stories about them even from hair stylists at the salons. They said that they don’t recommend the extensions because my hair is too short and that I would have to understand if they damage my hair during the application, etc. I almost gave up… then I found Beki. Why haven’t I come to her any sooner? She totally changed my life. She took a look at my hair and compared the hair samples once, twice and there, she had the perfect match. And… ughh I really wish I had something new and smart things to say about her. If any of you are still contemplating, pick up your phone and just call/​text her for a consultaion. Seriously.

Here is a list I compiled from Beki and my own experience on how to care for your new luscious locks and what to expect after your transformation!
* Expect to feel some tightness and discomfort for up to a week after getting them installed. Especially when you sleep. My head was used to wigs, so it was an easier transition for me. It is just your scalp getting used to the added hair and the beads tightening to the hair. The beads MUST be tight in order to stay put so do not worry, your hair will soften and get used to the beads and in a few days or up to a weeks time you will forget about them :)
* Washing your new hair after a day or two is highly recommended. The new hair is a bit shiny compared to my own, and once I washed it, the texture was natural and blended beautifully. Beki recommended to me Redken All Soft Shampoo and Conditioner which I bought right away. The best way (for me) to wash your hair is to put the shampoo on the very top of your head, massage gently, then tilt your head back to let the shampoo rinse through the rest of your hair. Once it is all rinsed out, distribute the conditioner evenly along the shaft and ends of your hair. Let it soak for a few minutes then rinse. I made the mistake of not getting all the shampoo out, and I experienced some itchiness, so I texted Beki and she let me know to next time rinse thoroughly which I did and it fixed the itch!
* Get a «wet brush». You can get one at Ross, a beauty supply store, or even Amazon. They are designed for all hair types, wigs, and extensions. The bristles untangle your hair with ease.
*VERY IMPORTANT– Before you go to bed brush your hair starting from the bottom and braid into one large braid or two. This is very key because the extensions can tangle with rest of your hair and become matted if you do not take care of them. I made the mistake of not brushing and braiding my hair before bed and it was tangled in the morning. When I went to my brush my hair, I brushed over a knot too forcefully and a bead fell out (which Beki warned me would be normal if one came out, she told me to just keep it in a bag and she would put it back in).
* Argan oil! Run this through the length of your hair, a small dime sized amount will do, before styling or drying or going to bed for the night. It keeps your hair and your new hair soft, healthy, shiny, and frizz free. (Beki recommended Redken but I already had a brand I felt would do fine)
*Be kind to your hair! Don’t submit it to all the heat and styling all the time, and when you do use heat, use heat protectant spray and cream. If you have naturally wavy hair like me, skip on the styling and just put some leave in conditioner in it before bed along with the usual braid before bed. You will wake up with lovely beachy waves :)
*Don’t wash every day! Normally you shouldn’t wash even your natural hair every day. I can even go five days without washing. Washing dries it out. If you get oily like I do, pick up some cheap and quality dry shampoo like Pssssst! or Not Your Mother’s Clean Freak. I’m really liking Clean Freak right now! Trust me your hair will thank you :)
*HAVE FUN AND ENJOY THE NEW YOU!

Ever since I cut my hair, I have missed having long hair. I desperately wanted a change and thought maybe hair extensions would be my answer. If I was going to get hair extensions, I knew I wanted to go to the very best person because of all of the bad stories I had been told. When I found Beki online and read all of the reviews about her, I was hopeful that she would be able to change my look.
Beki, not only changed my look for the better, but the entire experience of meeting her was such a special one. I can’t say enough amazing things about her! She is kind, wonderful to talk to, and has a truly incredible talent for transforming a person’s hair and look. Not only did she give me that long hair look that I had so much missed, but it felt like I was talking to an old friend. Beki is so special, so talented and I can’t wait to see her again! If you want long, beautiful, thicker hair and want to meet someone devoted, caring and a true perfectionist at what she does, then go to Beki. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Beki is the absolute BEST!!! I have wanted hair extensions for over 8 years and in the past have experimented with clip-​ins, which are a huge pain to deal with on top of being super uncomfortable. I had given up on my hair and decided I was just going to hate it, and that there was nothing I could do to feel confident about it. But then I heard about the bead extensions from a hair stylist in Ventura county who got me really excited about them, and then when I made an appointment for my hair consultation, she told me she wouldn’t do them on me, for practically no reason! So I was about to give up AGAIN until I stumbled upon Beki’s website, and all of her great reviews! She did SUCH a good job, everything is perfect. As she was applying the extensions, she would redo a bead if it wasn’t exactly how she wanted it, and she described herself as a perfectionist. I am so grateful that she cares the amount she does about making her clients happy. Finally, I am in love with my hair and I wear it down everyday! (For the first time in years!) I have never felt better about my look, thanks to Beki! On top of doing a great job on my hair, she is super fun to talk to and SO sweet! After about three days, I didn’t even notice the beads on my head anymore. I can’t even feel them and they are definitely worth it!

Beki, she is, amazing! I’m from Chicago, IL. and was going to travel all the way to Los Angelas, CA. so she can install micro beads extensions to my hair. I wanted a more fuller/​thicker look. After looking at ALL 5 STAR REVIEWS, she has been recieving… I was soooo IMPRESS! Chicago HAS ALOT of SALONS, but there is a reason why Beki is so deserving of doing our hair. She is very personal and very helpful. Since, I couldn’t come there for a personal consultation, she ask me to text message her a few pictures. We went from there. All Smiles and sunflowers! :)))
But, my father recently had a major stroke. I had to cancel all plans, including my trip to L.A. to get my hair done. Beki was very understanding, It meant alot to me and my family. Beki and I are complete strangers, BUT she really does CARE! Her prices are very DECENT! I highly recommend her! When everything does get better, hopefully Beki can do my hair!

Wow! I just had an incredible experience with Beki. She is kind, gracious, funny, and most importantly, excellent at what she does! I’ve had extensions before, but this experience was unlike anything I’ve had done in the past. First of all, she is a self proclaimed perfectionist, and it shows! My hair looks amazing! My five year old step son just saw me, and said, ‘oh my gosh, how did your hair grow so fast!’ …too cute.
Most importantly, I wanted comfort. My previous experiences drove me crazy (as well as my ex boyfriends, who had to help me rip them out at 2 in the morning!). These extensions do not strain my hair, and don’t itch either. They are so light weight!
Overall, I had an excellent experience today. Thanks again Beki!

I was not able to go to her before actually getting the hair done because I was on a tight schedule. I had to send her pictures of my hair just so she can buy the right color.
BAD IDEA right?! BUTTTTTTTTTTT Beki just picked the right color and it looks JUST like my hair! My hair is a bit of an auburn brown so its really hard to get the color just right because it looks different everytime in different lighting. However, she picked the right color and it looks GREAT! :)
She takes her time in making you look great and the hair is easy to manage.

There is a reason Beki is rated 5 stars… She is truly amazing and talented at what she does. I have never been more happy with my hair since getting these lovely extensions that lasts for months. This is my second time going to her, and I will definitely come back when I need to redo them.
Her studio is very welcoming and comfortable. She doesn’t rush things, and she cares to make you look the best as possible. The hair is of high quality, and it’s very easy to manage and maintain.
I am glad to have met Beki. She is sweet and very gracious. Trust me if you’re thinking of getting extensions then look no more.

OMG where do I begin. I came to beki in December, after cutting my hair off to make it healthier. Needles to say I became depressed, and had such low self esteem about myself just ugh… Fast forward to beki
She saved my life!
1. This hair is the best quality hair you will find all around, tangle free, soft, and after four months (when I came back to get the beads pulled up) it’s still usable!!! This hair will last you for AT LEAST 6 months or more. Amazing
2. Her work I don’t even have words to describe. It’s immaculate! My hair was an a line cut, so super short!!! We did the 18″ and OMG she makes the hair blend so well everyone thinks it’s my real hair. She is a miracle worker!
She gave me the most amazing thing anyone could, beautiful healthy long lasting extensions but more important my confidence back! I feel sexy, I’m so much happier, and all because of beki!!!
