I live across the street from this apartment building and they make a lot of noise in the early hours of the morning between 2am to 5am, and not only on the weekend. The tenants are not considerate of their neighbors at all. Poor management! Most apartment buildings send out letters asking their tenants to keep the noise down and respect their neighbors. Complaint after complaint and the noise is still happening at least 3 times a week. Don’t park in front of that building or you might get a bottle thrown on top of your vehicle from of the balcony’s.

Lived here for 2 years. Great Hollywood location with underground gated parking. Management responsive to maintenance and repair requests. Large and updated units. Would recommend to friends.

My husband and I were one of the very first tenants in this building and lived there for four years. While the location is terrific and they were always very timely in terms of repairs, there are some VERYSTRONGFLAWS with this place: This was our BIGGEST complaint. They RAISE the rent 10% EACHYEAR. When we first moved in, in 2005, we were paying $ 2100/month. By the time we left, they were going to be charging us close to $ 2800/month When we did our final walk through with management, and they said everything looked fine, but when we got our deposit back, there were almost $ 400 in deductions for«janitorial» and«painting.» Keep in mind, we lived here for FOUR years and were always very tidy. We were also generous enough to leave our fridge to them free of charge!!! ASWEWEREMOVINGOUT, the manager came by, saw me cleaning the unit and told me «don’t bother. We’re going to rip up the carpet anyway» BUTWEARESTILLGETTINGCHARGEDFORJANITORIALFEES The walls and ceilings are THIN. The building did not originally have hardwood floors and when they replaced the carpet with hardwoods, they did not add insulation. It sounds like people are constantly stomping around above you. The walls are also quite poorly insulated so you can definitely hear the people next door. There also isn’t a trash chute which might seem a little trivial, but it means that everyone in the building is lugging their trash through the elevators(which are VERY slow) so the elevators develop an assortment of stinks. to their credit, the management did try to put air fresheners in, but they kept getting stolen. Despite the gated garage, the front door does not completely shut on it’s own so people often just wander in. Our unit was broken into in 2009 and my car was broken into in 2007. I would recommend this place if you want to have fun in Hollywood for a year and are willing to pay for it.
