History

Established in 2006.

Jean Kim, founder and owner of Hair to Toe, began her career working at various salons in the West Los Angeles area. She had always wanted to find a way to introduce and incorporate her experience working with the latest trending styles in top tier salons on the Westside into the Koreatown community. Thus in 2006, Hair to Toe was born, which since then has become one of Koreatown’s top full-​service beauty salons and now also is partnered with Red Polish Nail Salon and Nail Art Salon both located in the same building right above Hair to Toe.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Jean graduated with a degree in Cosmetology from the Vidal Sassoon Academy in 1993. She began her career working as Assistant Stylist at Carlton International in Century City and soon worked her way to becoming the Manager at the Carlton located in the Beverly Center. She then moved on to establishing a successful practice in Beverly Hills at Guiseppi Franco. Finally in 2008, Jean decided to take the opportunity to utilize her experience to open up her own salon in her hometown, which has since then become one of Koreatown’s most highly-​regarded salons.
