Habite began in San Francisco in 1996 opening its second showroom in Los Angeles in 2008. The owners family has delt in antiques in France for gernerations. Habite offers and ecclectic mix of fine furniture, lighting, art, and accessories from the 16^th century through the 1980’s.

Laurent R.

Business Owner

Laurent’s passion for antiques began when he was just a boy in Nice, France, running errands for his father and uncle’s antiques shop, Rebuffel Antiques. As he grew, so did his knowledge, resposibilities, and duties which included his accompanying the elder Rebuffels on their buying trips. «Our trips took us through the winding streets of the antiques district in Nice to Northern Italy and to the Swiss countryside,» remembers Laurent of the many journeys with family that ultimatlely shaped his own career.
