We try to find the right bag for your needs and this is what keeps you coming back. Our philosophy is simple. Customer satisfaction is everything. We treat our customers as we would like to be treated as consumers.

We have access to almost every brand out there. If you don’t see it, ask. If it’s available, I can get it. If it’s not available I can suggest the best bags for your needs. We strive to carry the brands that give you the best bang for your buck. Even if we don’t stock it, I’ll be happy to special order it for you at no additional charge.

Need luggage in LA? GO HERE FIRST.
I’m serious, this place is amazing — we had the best service from Joey and received amazing advice (that saved us a ton of money).
Their staff knows everything about the manufacturers, warranties and usability — there wasn’t a question that went unanswered. Went here with my Girlfriend looking for a large garment bag for a upcoming wedding in Mexico and walked out with a great Briggs — Riley bag that will last us for years.
Most of the Samsonite bags and even new Hartmann brands that we’ve bought have fallen apart, now I know why!
Thanks again to Joey and the staff, we are very happy with the purchase and service at H Savinar.

A last minute int’l business trip meant a frantic search of Amazon Prime for carry-​on garment bags that could hold a couple suits for the trip. Since it’s Saturday, nothing would get here in time so I Googled best luggage Los Angeles and ended up here.
I just made the drive over and was in/​out in less than 30 min with the exact bag I was looking at on Amazon (Briggs & Riley Baseline) for less than it was listed online.
Haven’t written a Unilocal review, but I’m posting this before I leave the parking lot. Seemed like a really good group of people working here – we all had a laugh when I walked in after I told them I had pretty high expectations after reading all of the reviews online.
Can’t say enough good things – wish that there were more places like this around. Definitely worth the drive to a somewhat random location.

Nice luggage store. Salesperson hovered a bit too much and did not leave us much quiet time to browse. But she was also very helpful and courteous. The prices were reasonable and they have a good range of luggage including fabric briefcases which were light and compact. All in all, a satisfactory buying experience. Secure and free parking lot which is nice since this is not exactly Rodeo Drive.

What a refreshing shopping experience. The staff are highly knowledgeable, very patient, and very helpful without being pushy at all. It is so great to not have to deal with the big-​box retail experience with people getting paid $ 7.50 an hour who couldn’t give a hoot less about you or the products. Highly recommended and will gladly be back. Their prices beat Amazon too — wonderful! All sizes of luggage for all occasions and I left with no questions and a great piece of luggage that I’m confident will last a long time.

My wife and I went to H. Savinar yesterday to purchase a full luggage set. We were met by John who was the best! John showed us a great set of luggage. He was extremely patient as he showed us every detail of every piece in the set we were interested in and he answered every question we asked. At one point I wanted to compare the luggage set we were interested in with other brands in the store. By the way, their selection of brands in-​store are truly impressive. John pointed out how some brands did not have features we were looking for and how other brands didn’t have the sturdy construction we were interested in. At no point were we led to purchase a more expensive model, which by the way they certainly carry. A few others have written that they felt pressured, but that was not our experience. After we decided on our luggage purchase, my wife and I wanted to look at other items in the store and John told us to take our time. In the end, my wife also found two purses that were perfect for her needs.
After returning home I did some research on the specific luggage set that we purchased and I found that we received a great deal at H. Savinar. Overall, our experience was a positive one and we will definitely return in the future for luggage and other travel needs. I would like to thank the H. Savinar company and, especially, John who did a wonderful job assisting us.

Great experience!
I did not want to buy new luggage, however the huge mistake of not zip locking spray sunscreen made it unavoidable.
Joey was outstanding to work with. I had a good idea of what I needed/​wanted, but his expertise was definitely valuable in the final decisions.

Best Deals-​Best Service-​Best Selection! I was greeted immediately upon entering the door, asked what I was looking for, and given personalized service throughout the shopping experience. They have every price point that you are looking for. You will receive a deal! I received 20% off a carryon. There are great deals on discontinued pieces as well. They will monogram the luggage tag as a special touch. Joey walked me through all the pros and cons of each bag until I came to the conclusion of the perfect bag for me. You should come to this store instead of shopping online because you will get a better deal and be able to see the shapes and sizes of the interiors of the luggage in person. I was so happy with their friendliness, guidance, and generosity and super excited to leave with my bag. Please check out this store for all of your luggage needs. Joey, You Rock!

I generally think that luggage is over-​priced, so I refuse to buy it when it’s not discounted. I read the Unilocal reviews and decided to give this place a try. I ended up with a much better deal then I was expecting to find online at a discount site. I went in with 2 kids (1 yr and 4 yrs old), and Nate asked me at the front door what I needed, and led me right to it. 10 minutes later I was happily walking out with my purchase. I highly recommend this place and I will be back soon.

Great place with a lot to pick from if you’re looking for professional high quality briefcases. We picked up three different suitcases for business purpose. No, the prices are not super cheap, but as I was there I compared some of the same items on an online super-​retailer, and the same brands were more expensive online.
Bottom line is, if it seems like this place is more expensive than what you’re looking for, it’s because they’re selling you a good brand and good quality, but the prices are still cheaper there than online. Plus you can take stuff back there for them to repair.
The person who worked with us was knowledgeable polite and helpful.

I very rarely give out 5 star reviews (or 1 star reviews for that matter). The place has to have outstanding service for me to give the full 5 stars. H Savinar exceeded my expectations.
I went in looking for a larger luggage piece. My old Samsonite hard case is still in good condition but weighs a whopping 17 lbs. I was looking for a new hard case piece that was lighter, had 4 wheels, had a built in lock, and was a hard case. It didn’t need to be a Samsonite but I had already done some research on their website in regards to prices and what type of luggage I might want (Samsonite happened to be having a Labor Day Sale that weekend). My budget was about $ 200, I didn’t want to spend any more than that on a piece (including tax).
When I walked up to the store, I was immediately greeted by a kind saleslady. I gave her all the different things I was looking for and she took this into consideration when picking out pieces to show me. She was very patient and opened up all the pieces I was curious about. She never gave me a «sales pitch» or pressured me into buying something. She truly just wanted to make sure I found the luggage that was the best fit for my needs. She did show me things that were both within and outside my budget.
As Kiev R. stated, they really do have something for every budget! Only have $ 100 to spend, no worries! Have $ 600 to spend, they got you covered there too. I was very impressed with their selection. They had everything from padfolios, messenger bags, carry ons, hard case and soft case luggage! They even have a large selection of carry on items such as toothbrushes, locks, inflatable wine bottle protectors (yup apparently it’s a big seller), luggage straps, etc.
At the end of my shopping experience I found the perfect piece and they ended up outdoing Samsonite’s listed price on the website. TIP: Do a little research on pieces you’re interested in and look at price. They’ll often match or outdo a competitor’s price! I got a 28 in. hard case Samsonite, built in locks, double sided, and double rollers (yup this makes a difference when rolling because it doesn’t topple over when you push) for a great price of $ 179! I travel A LOT so it’s a great investment. I’ll definitely be coming back for any of my travel needs. Thanks H Savinar!

Very good selection, good prices, a little bit too sales-​y for my taste. Very knowledgeable but we were approached multiple times by multiple salesmen all trying to sell us something. Everytime I said «we’re just looking» but they persisted. I’m definitely a browser; I don’t like being followed and interrupted with «features» sales pitches when I just want to look and discuss with my husband privately. We left without purchasing anything. As we were leaving, they started selling us on the company. I get it – I’m pretty sure they’re all on commission — but it was WAY too stressful with them on us the whole time.

The experience I had at this place was like nothing I’ve experienced at any other shop. I went there because my mom shopped there and always said that it was a good place to shop. I walked in and some guy asked me what I was looking for. I told him that I needed a laptop bag. He pointed to where they were and said that someone would come over to assist me. They were hanging on a wall behind an empty display case. I go over there and wait but nobody comes to help me. I go behind the case to look at the bags by myself. They’re all either leather or canvas and the cheapest one I see is around $ 400.00. I’m not looking to spend this kind of money.
I see another wall with black nylon bags on it and go to look at those. $ 200.00, $ 300.00. At this point I’m thinking that I came to the wrong place. I’m standing there, still waiting for assistance and go to look at these. Meanwhile, some guy near me has the undivided attention of the saleswoman that helping him, so much so that she walked passed me a couple of times and acted like I was invisible, as did pretty much everyone else in the store.
I start pulling bags off of the wall, looking at the features and prices. Still no help. I’m thinking of leaving but I’m here and don’t want to start my search all over again. I find a Victorinox bag on sale for ½ price and decided to just buy that and leave. I go to pay for it and the guy that directed me when I came in tells some guy to ring me up. He then goes back to the conversation he’s having with his co worker and the guy deligated to ring me up has this look on his face like he’s shocked that I came to pay for it by myself. As He’s ringing me up I look around and see another couple getting undevided attention from their salesman, as was the other customer. For some reason, I wasn’t worthy of anyone’s attention.
As I leave, I get no «Thank you», no «Goodby», nothing. I was invisible to everyone in that store, except for the security guard, by the front door. He was the nicest guy there.
Did I get a good deal? Yes. Did I get good service? NO! Will I go back? Absolutely NOT!

My perfect girlfriend brought me here to pick out brand new luggage for a surprise gift. For a frequent traveler, this place is heaven. The salesman that helped us (Mike?) was so helpful without at all being pushy or salesy. He was just as enthusiastic about the bargain set as the high end briggs and riley, showing us all the features and explaining warranty’s etc. And of course i had to open up all the pockets on about 40 different suitcases, so yes he was incredibly patient as well. I never once felt rushed or annoying, it felt more like he was enjoying how much fun i was having making my very careful choice which made the whole experience so lovely.
I’m OBSESSED now with my amazing new briggs and riley, which I’m sure i will enjoy for years to come. (thank you perfect gf)
This store has an excellent selection, all price points and all majorly discounted. They also have toiletries bags, computer bags, international chargers, awesome luggage tags, neck pillows and all kinds of other travel accessories (tiny irons! tiny blow dryers!). More than just suitcases, all really great brands and amazing prices.
Highly recommend and i will be returning for all future travel needs!

Bought a bag from Bloomingdales on deep discount as a gift for a friend, and was having the hardest time finding a place to monogram it. Went to H Savinar, and not only did they match the price on the exact same bag I bought from Bloomies, but they monogrammed it for free.
Their prices are generally lower than any department or specialty store, and if they aren’t, just show them proof of a cheaper price and they’ll match it (and throw in the monogramming for free). They emboss, and well as do gold and silver lettering.
I’m now a fan (and customer) for life. Margie was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with.
Note: they’re a real throwback business. They don’t have any computers to check inventory, they write up purchase orders and receipts in carbon-​copy notebooks, and look up pricing on huge binders. I told them they really should invest in computers and automated systems, but the owner says he likes it the way it is. Can’t complain with the results.

What’s great about H Savinar Luggage is that they have luggage at every single price point. Only have $ 100 to spare and need a great piece? They’ve got you covered. Just found out you won the Megamillions jackpot and now want to be all fancy? They’ve got you covered.
I entered the store and immediately gravitated to a metallic red hard case luggage set. I gawked at the sheer beauty of it! Then I caught a glimpse of the $ 1600 price tag (for one piece!) and slowly backed away from it; I couldn’t even afford to breathe on it (I assume rich people purchase these pieces because they fly private jets and don’t hand their luggage over to commercial airlines whose sole purpose is to put your luggage’s ruggedness to the test… but I digress).
The owner saw my reaction to the price tag and quickly jumped in to steer me towards more reasonable pieces. He was super helpful and super informative which will help to put you at ease while you decide on how large of a luggage investment you’d like to make.
So head over to H Savinar Luggage Co. and admire that metallic red luggage (from afar of course)!

Customer service this good is hard to come by.
I was referred to Savinar through my doctor, after I told her that I was looking for a new bag. I went there with a friend to look at leather messenger bags, as I was transitioning from a backpack. I had my list of absolute must-​have features and a budget of $ 300 maximum.
First off, Joey greeted me at the door and asked what I was looking for. He directed us toward a wall full of messenger bags and left us alone. He didn’t hover or anything, but kept checking in on us over the HOUR AND A HALF that we were there looking over their selection, which was very which was very broad.
Second, after we narrowed the choices down to two bags, neither of which I was completely satisfied with, Joey, upon hearing my reservations about both, went straight over to the wall of bags and brought over a third choice that somehow the two of us had overlooked. And THAT was the bag I settled on. It was 50 bucks over my intended maximum, but I am 100% satisfied with my choice. And I have gotten several compliments on the bag over the few weeks that I’ve had it. Joey knows his stuff.
And even though the bag was more than I intended to spend, it was still a steal. The same bag online cost $ 475.00. I got it for $ 350.00.
If you ever need any luggage of any kind, I recommend going to Savinar FIRST. Not only are the prices extremely competitive, but the service is top notch.
I know this review sounds like I might work there, but, no, I am actual customer. Savinar is just THAT good.
