Terrible!!! They have no respect for the neighborhood. They show up at 6 a.m. making all kinds of unnecessary noise, yelling at each other, parking in front of other people’s drive ways. They do not cover the construction site when it rains allowing all the wood to be exposed to the rain and weather. No respect what so ever! !!

We hired GWG Construction to do a major refurbishing of our home. We needed all the major systems replaced or upgraded as well as a kitchen remodel and bathroom remodel. We were on a budget and needed a lot of work done. We worked with the owner directly. He listened to our needs, concerns and financial constraints and helped us decide where our dollars were best spent. He walked us through the process step by step before we signed the contract and helped us decide which items were priority and where we could cut costs. Once we decided what work we wanted done, we were given a fair price and provided with a detailed description of the work to be completed. After signing the contract we were given a timeline which laid out when each phase of the work would be started and completed. During the construction phase, workers were at our home consistently, most weekdays and many times on the weekend. Even though our house was vacant, the workers were respectful of our home and confined their equipment to the garage area. As the work progressed we wanted to make several alterations to what was in our original contract. The Gernard(the owner) gave us suggestions on how best to accomplish our ideas. We were allowed to add, delete and change some of the items contained in our original contract as the work progressed based on our budget and ideas. With each change we made, we were provided with a written Change Order detailing the change in work and the change in cost if any as well as an adjusted timeline for the completion of the work. When the project was completed we had a walk through with Gernard to insure everything was completed to our satisfaction. We were shown how to work the new features in the home(gas shut off, water heater pilot light, HVAC system ect). We were invited to call the office if any issues with the work were to arise. Two months after we moved into the house we noticed some minor issues.(ie. chipped exterior stucco, a door not closing properly, and a garage light that wasn’t working). We called the office and reported the items. Within a few days, Gernard along with his crew came to our home to review our issues and make the necessary repairs at no cost. We are very satisfied with the quality of the work and the professional service we received from GWG. We look forward to hiring them again.

I was approached by L.G. while purchasing floor tile for my kitchen remodel. He told me that the company owned by his brother did just the type of work I was looking to get done. I had already selected another person to do the work. L.G. asked if he could come and put a bid in. His company was a little less expensive so I decided to go with them. He told me they do custom cabinets similar to what I was going to have made by another company. Once they started the work I discovered that they in fact DONOT build custom cabinets. They get them already made. The cabinets they brought in were the wrong size, or style on several occasions. After 2 months of what should have been a 10 day job at the most the correct size cabinets were installed. They also installed quartz countertops. One of the quartz counter tops was uneven and had no caulking between the counter and back splash. When they finally claimed to be done I found 12 items that needed to be corrected and that was after close to 3 months of work. They also did not clean up what they soiled saying they we not responsible for clean up. I finally had to hire another contractor to finish the work and correct all the errors. If you want work done correct and in a timely manner do not I repeat do not use this company. I had several arguments with both brothers regarding the work. They both have a tendency to try and justify bad work.
