Guardians of Love Foster Family Agency

Our experience with a foster parent from this agency was nothing short of abominable. Foster parents are told one thing and the real parents are told another.
While our social worker assured us our children were being fostered while our family completes «Reunification», the foster parent was actively posting social media photos of OUR children saying they’re HERS, and she is clearly in the market to ADOPT, not foster.
On a visit to our kids, our daughter was visibly and audibly having trouble breathing and coughing. She is less than a year old, and myself, my husband, and LA County HSA urged the foster parent to take our baby to the hospital. I myself was asthmatic as a child and was hospitalized, so the urgency was great.
The foster parent blatantly refused to have our daughter seen that night and treated father and I with incredible disrespect. This agency claims to place kids in ethnically and culturally appropriate homes, and our children are with no one of the sort. Our daughter was finally seen 2 days later, and was so ill the doctor recommended no public contact.
Said foster parent also constantly denied us access to our children, refusing phone calls, shortening our visits, and keeping our daughter away from a visit completely. She followed this behavior with texts calling ME crazy and saying «I can see why your kids were taken». What on earth?!
Our interactions with foster parent have been unpleasant and hostile; it turns out she’s a Muy Thai fighter, so it makes sense. I am not sure what criteria this agency uses to measure a fit foster parent, but as a real parent I am disturbed.
Children should be with their birth parents, and prospective homes need to know the real deal and not get their hopes up on someone else’s children. Children are not toys, they are not for sale, and should be promised to NO ONE. Everyone involved leaves with a broken heart.
On top of it all, our kids were seized from us by a social worker with fabricated documents. This is child trafficking at its worst.
