I got every week and get 2 hour massages. I do love they are clean proffesional people trying to make a great change in to the massagae society.
I dont go into the spa so my rating is based on the massage. Heard some nasty stories about the spa regarding some shalongs and old gay farts. Rather not say but i wont be going there unless its empty. Doesnt matter for me. I go for the massage. Khaytfuu.

I get massages once a week don’t go to late because the girls get tired it’s a 24 hour business but we are human. I hate the fact the phone rings when your relaxed getting a massage other than that I love it
Well I us to use the spa as well, but I rather not anymore, since I was a approached by a client, and told me when using the jacuzzi’s you must be naked. Showed me a paper on the wall that says that as so I got up and left.
Facility is nice, but if I don’t want to be showing my slong to other men. Should be my choice.

they only do microdermabrasian and facial peels for women.

It’s a typical spa with a promising setup for a guy. Hot tub. Cold tub. Sauna…
I made an appointment for a massage and I figured I have 25 minutes before the massage to relax in the hot tub. So far so good.
As I’m sitting in the hot tub the guy that was in it with me came out and sat on the chair with the towel under him. Normal so far.
The the guy start gagging and spitting on the towel he was sitting on. Disgusting but who cares. As I’m getting out I glanced at him and saw that his towel has blood on it in the area of his …

I’m done with the hot tub at this point.
I went to my appointment for a massage.
I was pointed to my room. All good. Put shorts on and face first on the massage table. All good.
When the lady came in I asked for a strong massage. She pointed to the bars. And when I said yes she made a disgusted face and left the room. Another lady came in and told me that the First Lady is strong and she doesn’t have to stand on my back to deliver a strong massage.
…ok… I’m done…
Told the whole story yo the lady in the front. She gave me my money back. She Apologized.

This was a decent spa. It’s as big as my apartment, but they have about everything you need to relax. Hot, warm, and cold tubs that are just the perfect size for a couple of people. I was there last night after my work out at the gym. I notice that the sit down showers didn’t work. Standing was fine. Floor was a little slimy in the shower area and the steam room. The relaxing recliner room was very chill. If you want to order food it must be done at the front desk then they call your locker number on the P. A system when ready. I’d go back again for a last minute steam after my work out.

i have been to this spa for as long as i can remember for at least 8 years.
they regularly maintain it which is probably why it is clean everytime i go. the spa waters don’t smell like it does at certain other spas i have tried along the way. they have skincare, bodycare and massages, nailcare, and even a small little café to order food and drinks. their sleeping rooms in the back are quiet and dark. i love falling asleep there after steaming up my body and relaxing.
the only thing i do admit may be a flaw here is that when the spa is busy, there is a little lack of sitting space inside the sauna area. it isn’t a problem for people who pay to get their scrubs and services done… which i do tend to do these days given that i need the time to actually just lie there and relax while someone else does the scrub and massages for me.
i gotta love this place. the money worth every penny!

Let me first say this, Grand Spa is THE best spa u will get in Los Angeles. I’m very picky with spas, and I must say Grand Spa is 30x better than any other spas in LA including Wi Spa! Grand is much cleaner, and definitely way more peaceful. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is wonderful. My biggest pet peeve is going to dirty spas so I’m very impressed by Grand’s cleanliness. This is my go-​to spa from now on, I wouldn’t try anywhere else. Trust me you won’t regret it!

Grand spa is always friendly and greets customers with a smile. They have a lot of products available for purchase by the front desk and I have personally used all of them and they all feel great. For example, their foaming melon scrub is perfect to get a good soapy clean whilst getting a good scrub down. Then I usually use their oil based scrubs to make my skin hydrated and softer, this helps with the dryness of my skin which gets pretty bad due to living in the desert (LA). Afterwards I cleanse my face with their face foam cleanser which leaves my skin feeling new and softer than ever! To top everything off their pomegranate body butter just does wonders for my skin and smells great as well that lasts all day long.
They always have clean facilities with people cleaning up the place pretty regularly. I always enjoyed the dry sauna but my favorite would be their skin care services. Few months ago the skin on my face got really bad because it got so dry that eventually my skin started peeling and burned a lot but after going to skin care about once/​twice a week for less than a month my skin cleared up and felt like a babies ass! They use the best skin care products out atm which put my mind at ease because many other places didn’t use such expensive and well known products on their customers.
They also have a mani&pedi station with a lot of nail art to choose from if u choose to go crazy with your nails! This place has everything for one to get some relaxation and get pretty before going out during the weekend!

The first thing I noticed about grand spa was the service. They are equipped with a very attentive staff that truly tends to your personal needs. The facility was very clean and welcoming.
I usually just come for the basic spa services such as dry sauna, steam sauna and a cold dip. The body scrub service is probably the best I’ve ever received from any spa from LA to Korea. Although I’ve never gotten this service, my girlfriend only comes here for her mani/​pedi and also gets a lot of skin care done here. all in all this is my favorite spa in LA. wii spa is cool but I always end up coming back to Grand spa.. Definitely my go-​to quick R&R location. highly recommended !

The lady I had was awful. She even scoffed at my tip offer as if she expected more and then spoke in her native language to the other lady who kept interrupting my massage to talk. Ruined the day. NEVER AGAIN GOING BACK!!! NE VER!!!

This is a one stop shop for those looking for a relaxing getaway from the craziness that is LA! Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who handed me a towel, bath robe, and a locker key to store my belongings. For those who have not been to a Korean/​Japanese spa, be warned that you gotta strip down butt-​naked, but that’s all part of the experience. ;) While I didn’t stay overnight, I thoroughly enjoyed the sauna steam rooms and hot tub soak. Once I was ready to dry off, they had a station with lotion, hair brushes, hair spray, etc which I thought was a nice addition to my experience. I didn’t get to try their other offerings like body scrubs, facial massages, nail salon, etc but I will definitely be back to check it out during my next visit since their prices were reasonable. Overall, the place looked like it was in clean condition and well-​maintained.
Also, they have a restaurant/​bar on the 1^st floor where I enjoyed a hearty feast of fried rice, beef ribs, and stew. So, be sure to definitely check it out for some amazing Korean food. I believe you can have dessert (like patbingsoo) delivered to the sauna, but can’t confirm that for sure. I will definitely be back!

Has been a very busy and stressful week for me and my boyfriend so I decided to get a couple massage for both of us. I was kind of desperate and badly wanted to relax a little bit and so I found this place at thru Unilocal.I called and checked out different Spa’s that has cheaper and better reviews but they don’t have double room for couples.
Anyway, I called during the day and made an appointment at 9:15pm originally, Then moved it to 9:30pm. I still didn’t make it at 9:30 so I called again and asked if I can just walk in with my boyfriend, they said yes. So I did and got there a little past 10pm. Which is a good thing and that’s why I’m giving this place 2 stars instead of 1.
The place is seriously, so creepy during the night. Weird looking building and not very clean, no reception at the front entrance you have to go in the building and take the elevator to the 2^nd floor. I checked in & paid right away and they took me to the room immediately which my boyfriend was already there then the nightmare begins, Massage rooms doesn’t have a any music at all I was expecting for a smooth relaxing music while they’re doing the massage, I asked them they said no because some people are sleeping. Sure. They didn’t bother to evenly close the door to our massage room and so the reception phone kept on ringing loudly and was very disturbing. The massage therapists were both very unprofessional trying to talk to us or talk to each other in THEIR language while we are trying to relax. Massage is nothing special, Honestly they don’t even know how to control their force and pressure.
STAY AWAY. Do yourself a favor, save your money and go somewhere else. Plus, my boyfriend told me that their facilities looked like a homeless shelter. (Ewww)
Bottom line is, Not coming back ever again.

So, after going to different spas in Ktown and after actually talking to those young girls who look like they’re going clubbing at the men’s spa, I’ve decided not to hold that against them… Yes, it’s wrong, but the girls are nice and are just doing their job doing what they know how/​are capable of doing and men are the ones who should be frowned upon for this. The spa has the best deals and quality than other nearby spas such such as Crystal, Natura, Wii, Olympic… The only thing they lack is the communal area with the different stone rooms. However, f you’re going to the spa for the social aspect, then no, this spa is more for relaxation. They always have some deal going on where it’s $ 120 for a TWO HOUR scrub and massage!!! Other places charge just as much or more and give you 70 or 90 min scrub and massage (and I experienced having my time cut short at wii spa — the lady came 5min late and finished 5min early). Also, the food at Grand is amaze balls and so are the facials!!!

I’ve been coming to Grand Spa for the last two years. It’s a nice environment — very quiet and usually no kids. The spa is pretty basic compared to the other korean spas — there’s only one heated relaxation room and it’s a lot smaller than other facilities. The service has always been great though.
I’m giving such a low rating because I was in last Friday for a honey milk scrub and over the weekend broke out all over my legs with little itchy red bumps from my ankles to my thighs. I’m hoping this will clear up in the next couple of days if not I’ll have to see a dermatologist. I don’t mind that the facility is smaller and feels a little dated, but I do expect it to be clean and sanitary.

Grimey, steam room was not hot enough. Dry sauna was nice and toasty though.
Basic. Just feels run down. Feels like the upkeep has been lacking.

Worst experience at a Korean Spa to date. I’ve read many reviews before my first visit and heard saw pretty decent comments about the facility and it’s services, however, I was less than impressed.
Upon entering the locker room I was immediately greeted by the wonderful smell of mildew and mold and the place looked older and dirty. Not quite the smell you’d hope for in a spa. I was hoping to smell clean fresh air but instead it was warm, stuffy and smelled like mold. Once we got to our respective lockers, we found our towels and robes which are provided by the spa. My robe had a stain on the collar which made me feel skeevy. We changed into our robes anyway and proceeded to experience all that the spa had to offer.
After a quick minute of walking, we’d seen the entire women’s spa. The spa consisted of one sauna, one resting room and a jacuzzi area with a few baths, a scrubbing area and a couple more saunas. I was shocked that this place was so small and had limited facilities, however, we tried to relax and enjoy what was there.
First we spend about 15 minutes in the dry sauna. That was the highlight of our day. It was quiet and empty giving us the time and space to meditate and really appreciate the qualities of the sauna. Next, we relaxed in the lounge area. The area had several comfy leather chairs to relax on and a tv playing. The chairs, though comfy, were old and many had rips and tears in them. A major complaint was the openness of the room and the noise level from other patrons. A few kids were running around and some women were engaged in loud conversation. Definitely not the relaxing lounging I had in mind.
Next, we attempted to go into the bath area and steam rooms. Unfortunately, the moldy smell discouraged us from going in. I couldn’t imagine walking in a warm and wet room that smelled like mold. All I pictured was bacteria crawling all over my feet. And to sit in a bath??? Wasn’t happening! I felt like the place was crawling with bacteria.
I came here on a groupon and happy that I got to experience that without paying full price. I couldn’t enjoy myself here… it was an uncomfortable visit. I’m used to Korean spas being extremely clean, with an assortment of saunas each with different healing properties (i.e. jade sauna, salt sauna, gold sauna, infra red sauna, etc) and a variety of baths (lavender…)… clean and cozy lounge areas and an overall welcoming environment. This was the total opposite of what I expected based on the reviews. I would strongly recommend trying another spa especially if it’s your first time at a Korean spa.

5 stars for their non-​sauna services, such as facial massages and body scrubs, and 3 stars for the sauna.
I’ve been coming here forever since it’s super close to my dad’s workplace in ktown. My family and I always get the multiple use coupons that you buy in bulk for a better price per individual coupon. Their facial massages can be pricey but are so worth it. It includes vitamin c and bacteria-​eliminating technology, as well as extraction and massage. My face comes out red and hurt, but about a week later, I’m glowing. Beauty is pain, pain is beauty.
Their body scrubs, also pricey, are amazing. I get the standard one and always ask for the same woman. I won’t say her name since I’m a bit selfish and don’t want her schedule to fill up even more. Once you find your woman, you’ll go to her for life, even if you have to go super early or really late to fit into her schedule. All the scrubbers will ask if you want to pay a little extra for some sort of other special scrub treatment but I find that it’s unnecessary. My woman always beats my muscles to pulp after scrubbing, which makes me feel like her sole purpose in life is to remove the muscles I’ve been weight training. Still, I walk out standing a little more straight and feel a lot more balanced after she relieves my muscle tenseness. Hurts like a b-​, but as mentioned, everything is pain.
The sauna was always decent, but nowadays it’s feeling dirty, which is why I leave this review. Trails of hair everywhere is just intolerable. Also, the water temperature is WAY off. The standard hot water is lukewarm and the super hot one isn’t at its full potential. It’s actually filled with people, which shows that it’s not hot enough to weed out as many people as it used to. On the other hand, I noticed that while I was in the super hot one, many people complained about the cool temperature of the standard hot one, tried to come into mine, but were unable to stand the heat and so, left. It sucks for the people who can’t handle either. There needs to be a middle temperature one for comfortable resting.
Also, the steam has gotten too hot where even I can’t stay for more than a minute or two, and it’s not even that the water was just sprayed onto the coals. I am somebody who used to sleep for about 20 minutes in the steam room, so this shows how hot the steamroom has gotten.
The sauna room itself is the only consistent aspect. Be sure to take a towel inside it to sit on.
Gotta step up, Grand, or ktown competitors are gonna get the best of ya.

I would consider this my second home, it is the best place to come to relax, get amazing scrub and massage, fresh juices and professional staff — it’s also very reasonable priced and best part is 24 – 7 ! I really like this place. Towels and robes are provided, and it has a quiet room, cold, warm and hot jacuzzi areas, and the real plus: the scrub/​massage treatments. I got the mango butter scrub, for 120 minutes of pure relaxation. You’re literally like a massaged breast of chicken when you’re all done. Eun was my massage therapist, and she was fantastic. My skin was silky smooth and I was squeaky clean when it was over.
It’s not particularly fancy, but with so many Koreans of all ages there, you feel like this is an authentically Korean experience. It’s clean and I saw a cleaning woman walking around all night.
Not many employees appear to speak English, so if you’re a jerk (like the reviewer appears to be who complained about the soap), or you’re agitated about something (you need special treatment, or you have some unique situation), you’re going to have a hard time. Everyone is eager to please and if you even try to say thank you in Korean (something like «sam hamidah), they are very appreciative, if confused.
Ask for Eun for the scrub/​massage. She is confident, friendly, and professional. You’ll love the results.

Let me first start out by saying that I have been to Wi Spa several times and thought to myself, «this is the end of my spa experience». Grand Spa has it’s pros and cons and because of what it has to offer, I do respect this establishment. However, I am not sure I will return with anyone. Maybe alone so I do not have to worry if other people are enjoying themselves.
Pros:
1) More quiet in comparison to other spa places. When I went, there were no kids running around. People were in their own zone and remained friendly.
2) I did not have to hoard a blanket and store it in my locker (ya’ll know what I am talking about) so I would have one later at night.
3) I could find a mat to sleep on even at 1:00 am.
4) Everything is located on one floor. So I am not going up and down, to left, to the right, etc.
5) The tubs were kept at a reasonable temperature and THEY WERE NOT CROWDED! I do not know if it was because I went on a Thursday night at 10:00 pm, but I am telling you, it was a treat to just sit in a tube… ALONE!
6) Check-​out is at 10:00 am when we checked in around 9:00 pm. I would rather leave at 10:00 am in the morning than 4 am… just staying.
7) The dining room is on the same room at the woman’s area! No more using elevators to get to one place.
8) If you want to feel somewhat immersed into a culture and see little to no English on the walls… this is it!
9) Staff was super friendly.
10) If you really want to workout during your relaxation time, there is a room! Even with restricted hours, there was either 0 or 1 person in there. Other places require you to be a member.
Cons:
1) Because it is such a small intimate place, you may feel claustrophobic.
2) There is no Jade Room (at least it is stated on the website but I do not remember seeing it), Salt Room, etc. There are the typical sauna rooms.
3) Unless you are getting a treatment, you might end up bored.
4) Inconsistency of prices. I would recommend calling or stopping by and picking up a brochure.
If you get a Groupon, please read it carefully and ask before you make the trip. It was not a bad experience, but definitely not one in which I would bring a girlfriend to impress.
