I first met Karl and Jacqueline 4 years ago when I had my family cat who was 18years old. Since she has passed but they always went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and loved when I was away. Karl came over on his own time to help show me how to administer fluids to Lizzy when she was sick. I have since recommended them to friends with animals and they couldn’t be more happy. Great honest people.

I have used God’s Creatures Pet Sitting before — three years ago. Karl & Jacqueline were AWESOME to my then two kitties (one since passed away)!! Well, this past weekend I was going out of town and didn’t have someone for Kaha. I texted them Friday morning and they got back to me right away, knowing my name even though I forgot to mention it! They kept my name and number after 3 years!!!
Even though they were unable to meet me to get them the key they offered a solution that allowed me to get them my key so they could take care of Kaha!
I definitely and highly recommend them to take care of your kids! Not only do they take great care of them — they text you after each visit to let you know how it went! These two TRULY ROCK!!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

KARL AND JACQUELINE are the best. This service has changed my traveling life. My animals looooove them. I return home and am not in the ‘doghouse’ with my beloved cats.

It is not an easy task to find somebody who can take care of cats AND a cockatiel for two weeks. We considered boarding our bird but knew that it would be extremely hard for him to be caged for so long since he is free at home.
I was very excited when I saw the listing for «Gods Creatures Pet Sitting» because they are within walking distance of our house — and when we met Jacqueline we knew that we could entrust our animals to her competent care. She is very thorough in getting all necessary information about our animals, and she has a calm and caring demeanor.
While we were gone we received a daily email and a photo updating us about what was going on with the animals, and she also alerted us when something seemed out of the ordinary, i.e. a door being closed that had been open before., and a ladder that had been moved in the patio to a different spot. We appreciated her alertness, and she felt comforted when I told her that the gardener had probably been there.
Our animals were happy and well cared for in those two weeks, and we would not hesitate to call on Jacqueline in the future if we needed a sitter. We can recommend her services without reservation. Thank you so much, Jacqueline!

Been meaning to say «thanks» to these wonderful people for some time. We left for Paris last fall and that meant leaving our two cats at home alone. Jackie and Marcia made that easy. They did everything they said they would do and more! The prep was thorough, including a tour of our home and asking for a list of vets just in case. But the best part was getting snapshots emailed to our hotel rooms — there were Bo and Niko at play, discovering an ipad kitty video game. We came home and everything was perfectly in order. Whenever Jackie or Marcia came over, our cats ran to greet them, eager to play with their friends again. I found Gods Creatures Pet Sitting to be professional and totally reliable. I recommend them and would gladly use them again in future.

Gods Creatures Pet Sitting provides the best pet sitting service you can find. Jacqueline and Karl are amazing! They truly made all my trips worry free. They are responsible, punctual and very proactive communicators. Every day of my trip I receive detailed reports about my pets and I know they are safe and taken care of with no glitches and exceptions. Right before my last trip my cat got really sick. It was very heartbreaking because I had to fly out for a number of days for some very important business meetings with no option to cancel. Jacqueline took care of everything. She was available to come more times per day and was absolutely amazing and skilled to give all numerous medications to my cat. When I got home my kitty was feeling much better, happy and even had a great new toy. I would give more than five stars to Gods Creatures Pet Sitting if I could!!!

I have never had to hire a pet sitter as there has always been a friend or roommate, so I was clueless as finding a pet sitter. I called Gods Creatures Pet sitting and spoke to Jacqueline who was so helpful and able to help me out on short notice. Jacqueline was very thorough in asking me questions about my four indoor cats, their likes and dislike as well as their ages, health and status in the house. She asked me my routine with the cats, feeding, diet, exercises, etc… She was able to schedule her mom to cat sit for me on a week night for four hours. The rates were reasonable and their services were great. I came home late after my work event and my cats were so happy and well content. They were feed, played with and were give lots of attention. The house was clean, litter boxes had been scooped and the kitties were fast asleep. I was very happy with their care and I highly recommend their services. Previously whenever I went on long trips I put my two cats in a kennel. Last December, with the cats being 14 years old and one of them having hyperthyroidism and trouble eating, I felt that a kennel would be too stressful and started looking into pet sitters. My main concern was letting strangers have access to our apartment for two weeks, but Jacqueline and Karl proved to be trustworthy, reliable, helpful, and very flexible.
They came to meet us and the cats and they took notes about each cat’s needs and routines. They offered the option of letting them keep your house key on file after they’re done sitting, or they will drop it off to you after, which I appreciated since I was so nervous about giving strangers complete access (although now I know that concern was unnecessary with God’s Creatures). They also label the keys with the pets’ names instead of your address as a precaution (but don’t worry, they won’t lose your keys!). They offered to send us text messages after each visit, but since we weren’t going to have cell phone service they sent us emails. You’re meeting the actual people who will care for your pets and they won’t send other people in their place while you’re gone.
We were scheduled to arrive back to the US on Christmas Eve morning but the flight was overbooked and we couldn’t fly out until Christmas Day. I quickly emailed Jacqueline and Karl to see if they could fit in a few more visits than we had originally planned, and they took care of it without a problem even though it was a major holiday. Awesome! They also brought in the mail, fed goldfish, and watered plants.
They’re great at giving pet meds, and Jacqueline showed me how to give cats a pill after I got back. They also brought my cats some catnip pouches (now destroyed) and a fleece blanket that is still their favorite thing to sleep on. Prices are extremely reasonable. Just to echo another reviewer, you can have complete peace of mind when they’re with your pets.

This review is way over-​due but better late than never! I found God’s Creatures almost three years ago shortly after getting my puppy Chewy. Jacqueline and Karl are absolutely amazing and Chewy adores them. They took care of her on several long weekend adventures and made sure Chewy was happy and all worn out after feeding, walking and playing with her. We had them come three times a day and they sent a text after each visit to let me know how she was doing so I knew I had nothing to worry about. Both Jacqueline and Karl are very accommodating when setting up meeting times and they are very reasonably priced. If you live in Santa Monica, you cannot go wrong with God’s Creatures!

I used God’s Creatures Pet Sitting for the first time to take care of my several cats for two weeks – the longest time I had ever left them. I immediately liked the God’s Creatures team, Jacqueline and Karl, when we met. They carefully asked me many questions about the kitties and their care and they showed obvious affection for the cats. They came once a day for the two weeks and sent me texts and pictures with updates everyday. I usually worry A LOT about the cats when I am away but this time I worried less. I felt very, very comfortable knowing Jacqueline and Karl were taking care of them.
In addition to feeding, watering and cleaning out the litter, the team swept up each day, cleaned up kitty messes, played with them, gave them massages and rubs and brought in the mail. One day a kitty had an accident, and they brought my slipcover home to wash! Amazing! During week two, they ran out of food, and went out and purchased our brand! Truly, this team goes above and beyond because they seem to really, really love animals.

There is no way to exaggerate how wonderful the people at God’s Creatures are. They are total pet lovers themselves, and they pay attention to every little detail that will help enhance the safety and comfort of the pet they are looking after. We were in Europe for 11 days and had to leave behind our new one-​year-​old cat. They came twice a day, played with our cat, looked after all her cat needs, and even refilled our fountains and bird-​feeder so she could watch the birds out the window. We got a fun, informative email after every visit. It was Complete PEACE OF MIND. Now we’re looking for an excuse to go out of town so our cat can have her friends at God’s Creatures come back!

I’ve been using God’s Creatures for probably 5 years now. The first time I met Jacqueline I could tell she was a total pet lover and would take care of my pets as if they were her own. They’ve handled everything for us from out-​of-​town cat sitting (including giving my cat a pill) to daily dog walking of our hyper puppy, and have been just fabulous and in my opinion very reasonably priced. We are moving out of their service area at the end of the month and I’m so sad that I will have to find a new pet sitter.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful God’s Creatures Pet Setting is. For me it’s peace of mind while I’m at work and knowing my Dog is going for a long fun walk, and she is always a happy girl when I get home. Also, peace of mind that if she is sick (or me too!), they go above and beyond to help you out! I’ve been having them come walk my dog for almost 2 years now and we are so thankful that we got lucky enough to find them.
