Girls Gun Club

Took their safety course this past weekend and Paula and the rest of the staff were amazing. Very informative, knowledgeable, encouraging and friendly. There was one staff person for every two students, which allows them to provide excellent hands on instruction. They will even loan you a gun and holsters if you don’t have your own, or as was my case, bring a gun that they don’t feel would be in your best interest to learn on. You can’t go wrong with this group!

This has to be the most amazing and professional gun safety course that exists, in our hemisphere.
Paula and Carrie and her team are of the highest caliber and possess expertise that both puts students at our ease and challenges us to learn.
Being older, female and relatively inexperienced with firearms, I was nervous about taking a class. But learning alongside other women and being taught by women helped to reassure me that I’m ok, no matter what my background or abilities. There is no better way to learn or hone your skills than with GGC.
Thanks for the best training I can imagine– it was fun, educational, valuable and empowering.

This get together was awesome.
I’ve been shooting for a couple years, but have never really been coached. I’ve been wanting to get better and run drills. You know, have some fun with it. I must say, it was a GREAT experience. They’re very informative and help you get rid of your bad habits. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
I’ll definitely be back.

First time joining this group and let me tell you the feeling is like no other.
The instructors (PAULA, CARRIE, BILL) were specific in the training process.
Training is held in Azusa @ the Burro Canyon Shooting Park.
Nice scenic drive there.
Affordable and a great learning experience.

The girls gun club is beyond 5 star. I would rate them with all the stars in the universe =^_^=
At first I was scared because I’m a female and was afraid of going by myself with no cell phone reception, but I decided that my want is bigger than my fear and doing so was one of the best decisions ever!
The instructors are extremely friendly and
professional. They will make you feel very welcome and it is a incredibly safe learning environment! I have never touch a gun in my life and didn’t know anything about it, but by the end of the day I learn how to load and unload a gun, aim and shoot and many other empowering skills. Amazing isn’t it?
I believe us women should learn how to defend ourself and the girls gun club is the perfect ground zero just for that :)
I will definitely be coming back so that I can practice what I have learn so far and advance my skills even further!!! :D

Ok, this is one of my favorites! Girls Gun Club is a true mission, a cause. The fee for classes is so low I don’t know how they even cover range fees. It’s really all about providing a safe and accessible environment for women who want to learn about firearms.
Whether you’re a novice or a practiced hand, I guarantee you will learn something, as well as have a blast (pun intended) with other ladies in a safe, but fun environment.
As for the staff, Paula is the bees knees! What can I say about her that would come close to explaining how amazing she is? It’s clear she does this because she loves it, she cares about people, and she wants to foster a supportive community for women who enjoy shooting. She’s also one of the best instructors for handgun that I’ve worked with, taking the time needed to make sure you feel comfortable with the new skills you’re learning. She has a real emphasis on safety and protocol, her knowledge-​base and experience is extensive, and she’s funny and charming to boot! She is the Real Deal.
If you want to brush up on skills, if you’ve just purchased a firearm and want to make sure you’re competent, if you’re interested in firearms for self-​defense reasons, or if you’re just looking for a fun ‘girl’s weekend’ activity — Girl’s Gun Club is for you.

Im so happy I found this club. These are a great group of women with likeminded goals of self empowerment. This class and practice will definitely get you there. Instructors Paula and Natalie are knowledgable, patient and sweet. We started off the day with safety training which made me feel safe and give me the comfort I needed. We then moved into shooting and it was amazing how both instructors could point out exactly what I needed to do to improve. Overall I left feeling three times as comfortable and confident than before I came in. Will come back soon and practice more!

I have gone shooting twice now within a month with Girls Gun Club and I have learned so much. It’s totally fun and also empowering. To know that I’m learning how to protect myself and family is a great feeling. Paula is awesome! She’s so knowledgeable and makes the whole experience a blast!

I just went this past weekend and did the gun safety course followed by the Girls Gun club. It exceeded all of my expectations. Paula, Natalie and team were consummate professionals who taught us in a safe and comfortable environment. I learned so much more than I expected and I walked away so much more comfortable and competent. This was an amazing educational and safety experience. I am so glad I discovered them and will be back and often. It was so much more practical and helpful than your average indoor sterile shooting range where you don’t learn real life situations that may save your life. No one can recreate the scenarios they did and I am forever grateful. If you have been thinking about attending a class like this, you need to run and not walk. You will be very happy that you did. Amazing environment for women to learn practical and tactical handgun skills. Paula is an AMAZING instructor who takes her students to another level of weapon mastery! This is WAY BEYOND the typical standing at a gun range and shooting at a target, unloading, reloading and then doing it all over again. She works with your draw, stance, accuracy at standing as well as moving and shooting amongst multiple targets. Also learn to make the quick decisions depending on your environment/​danger threats. How to analyze threats, quick recovery on re-​loading, and even how to enter and clear a structure that is concealing threats ! She is able to offer this top rate training at a significantly lesser cost to us women because Girls Gun Club realizes the need for women to be proficient with their weapons as well being able to protect ourselves. I go every month to her classes at Burro Canyon Shooting Park. Always a great day with the Girls and the Guns and at Burro’s!
