History

Established in 2013.

Gay Matchmaking Club started in 2013 after our sister company, Catch Matchmaking, had a real need to do same sex matchmaking. We now are only concentrating on the gay male market. Gay Matchmaking Club started with hosting events and eventually led to the growth of personalized matchmaking services. Mason Glenn is the personal matchmaker who interviews, recruits, and vets out the candidates for our clients to meet. Our success rate is above the average in the industry. Our passion is to make long lasting connections that lead to fulfilling relationships. Nothing drives us to work harder than that.

Manager

Mason has had a long career in the matchmaking industry and spent his time helping high caliber clientele in Los Angeles select eligible matches. He specializes in working with gay men. A graduate of the University of North Georgia in Psychology, Mason has the ability to read people based on their personality traits, relationship history, and biological thinking process. His training, personal experience in the field, and intuition play a key role in his making long lasting love connections. His results from Strength Finders and the Myers Briggs Assessment tests indicate that he is the right person for the job. Mason is a ‘people person’ and has special skills in formulating a winning dating game plan for his clients in order to help them find their ideal mates. Mason uses a combination of psychology, sociology, science, and field experience to create a dynamic picture of what one is looking for in an ideal mate. He believes that true love is the essence of why humanity exists.

Mason’s matchmaking club is awesome. I met with him at his cozy Robertson office to have a 1:1. He was genuinely interested in getting to know me, my personality, passions, likes/​dislikes, and even those personal details like quirks, things that scare me, what turns me on, and why I was looking for love now. He is excellent at reading people and really «got» me. And he knew the right kind of guy for me — older, stable, ambitious, emotionally connected, health-​focused, sensitive, intelligent. Here’s the kicker — he is very much honest and direct in his recommendations about finding a great match. In the past, I haven’t been very open to reflecting on why I hadn’t found love. And Mason was insightful to point out why — fear, vulnerability, insecurity, etc. and what I should be OPEN to trying in terms of guys I wouldn’t normally consider.
A few weeks later he invited me to a speed dating event in Beverly Hills. I was petrified. I mean, in the movies, it looks awesome or frightfully comical. But, I bit the bullet and went. And, I’m so glad I did. All the guys were cool — there were like 20 of them. And they all were really friendly and social. And, we all were kind of nervous like freshman at college orientation. But, as soon as we started, the time flew by. Guess what — I made 5 mutual matches. Score!!! And I was totally impressed with the event. From start to finish it was well organized and actually fun. Checking in was easy and the time with each date goes by wicked fast. Mason’s staff of matchmakers is also top caliber. They are really outgoing and they do their research and know who you are and are really friendly in helping you feel comfortable and trusting them to give you advice. I felt like every one was genuinely interested in helping me find a mate.
I would strongly recommend you hurry up and book and appointment and register for the next speed dating event. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. And, I promise you’ll thank me later.

Wow! I was in a room with 13 single age appropriate single men who want to find that someone special. If it wasn’t for the Gay Matchmaking Club, it wouldn’t have happened. Two hours speed dating is like 20 hours searching on line (except you get real people).
If you are single, I recommend going to a Gay Matchmaking Club event.

I attended my first speed-​dating event last night and it was a lot of fun! The event was professionally organized, hosted a full room of very attractive bachelors. And I’m very happy I was able to go. I will be referring friends to this club, without a doubt.

I went to a speed dating event at, «The Parlor» on Melrose. I had a great time! Mason set up the event flawlessly, checking in was easy and the vibe was comfortable right away.
The Parlor bar has great drinks and the server was really sweet. I love how spacious the bar is.
It was my first time ever doing a speed dating event and I had a really fun evening. I got to meet all different types of guys and felt some chemistry with a few of them too. Mason is such a great guy and his attention to detail made everything run so smoothly. I would do it again and recommend anyone to give it a try:)

What a fun night! A very well put together event by Mason. A comfortable environment where you’re allowed to talk to other gay men. The only pressure is moving on to the next to the next to the next. In the end, can’t remember such a great night being able to talk to so many interesting other men. Everyone was talkative and personal. Nothing else like you can experience in a bar ever. Mason really knows how to put a good group of guys together who can enjoy themselves! Highly recommend the experience. Go and enjoy.

I went to a mixer at Rockwell hosted by Gay Matchmaking Club. I honestly didn’t know what to expect but my gay friend herd about it through the grapevine and didn’t want to go alone so dragged me along since he said he saw a posting that friends and supporters are welcome too. Eh, why not, he said he would buy my drinks and it was Thursday night, my favorite night to go out for happy hour!
When we got there around 9pm, I was pleasantly surprised by the hip and classy venue-​loved the outdoor/​indoor patio that was beautifully lit and decorated. It was really hard to get to though in Los Feliz and parking was impossible, had to valet for $ 6.
It was well-​organized, there was a check in table with some friendly ladies who greeted us and gave us these cute «single» and «mingle» buttons to pin on ourselves as a way to see who are the single gays and supporters… pretty smart! I felt good that they had thought of this so «mingle» people like me could feel included. The mixer was happening and the line to get a drink was pretty long. But everyone was so outgoing and open, it was easy to make small talk in line right away and my gay friend is pretty shy, hence I had to be there to be his wing-​woman. Um, but by the time he got his drink he was off on his own most of the night and meeting people on his own because everyone was so friendly and introducing themselves. I had people asking me how I heard about the mixer and many of them said they knew «Mason». I finally met him and turns out he’s the organizer and told me he’s looking for cute guys for his gay clients… ohh, I see! So cool that he does that! It was a great event overall! My friend is still single and looking but had a good time too.
