FROLIC – Live Comedy

This show hosts some of the funniest up and coming comedians. The venue’s moved to the Farbar in Little Tokyo. Head there for great laughs and ambience.

I’ve never been to a live comedy show. So when my cousin FB this event to me, I was excited to see my first stand up. My cousin was doing the sound for his buddy, who was the host of this comedy show.
Anyhow, the venue was at a sandwich spot in the heart of dtla. Next door to the sandwich shop was the open loft area to house these 8 comedians plus a small but supportive crowd. I liked the inside of the place, air conditioned, clean, and very artsy feeling (canvas paintings all over the wall of butterflies) with an exposed air duct ceiling and brick walls.
Most of the comedians have appeared in comedy central, laugh factory, and improv to name a few. And all in all, they were all very entertaining.
Anyway, the only reason why I gave it a 4 star was no drinks! I would’ve been laughing 5 mins into the show if I had at least one martini:)
Overall, it was definitely not my usual Wednesday night. It was fun!
