She was dishonest, manipulative and trying to get money out of me for unnecessary work. I was suspicious after a few minutes when she started taking about how honest she was in trying to save me money — you don’t need to emphasize how honest you are when are honest…
She told me I needed 10 fillings when I’ve never had a cavity in my life and I’ve historically been to about 6 other dentists who have never mentioned anything about needing fillings. I went for a second opinion days later and another dentist said that would all be unnecessary work/

Too bad zero stars is not an option. Avoid this dentist. She is knowledgeable, personable, experienced and well educated, HOWEVER:
1. She uses interns who are newly minted dentists from UCLA or residents. Bait and switch. Her interns are horrible — she had to re-​do the work one of them botched in my mouth.
2. It seems like her equipment is from an ancient age. Her office looks like it probably did in the 70s. Not a good sign (I think in retrospect) You want your dentist to invest in the best and latest technology.
The cleaning I received from her was one of the most painful things I have experienced in life. I don’t list it as a major issue b/​c perhaps she was doing a thorough job — but my other comments still apply. On paper, this seems like a good dentist. In actuality, keep looking.
