I happened to go there for my roots touch up, After being there for 2 hours and 45 minutes and getting a citation for $ 65, I left there with my hair being BLEACHED without any explanation, Not only I lost my highlight that was professionaly done in a different salon my hair became like snow white on the roots and carrot in the middle and some left over of my highlights,!!!Enrique worked on my hair and I want to make sure that no one goes through the experience that I went through, He had the audacity to charge me but I did talk to credit card company, I did explain to him also that my hair is kind of damaged already and asked him to come up with the least damaging process and he chose to bleach my hair!!!

Do not get your eyebrows waxed here unless you want someone unprepared and inexperienced to do them for you. I was better off with my 3 year old daughter doing them for me. My forehead was still sticky when I walked out. She used some cheap wax from Sally’s and of course kept double then triple dipping. Then didn’t rip it off my face fast enough, leaving most of the hairs. What a waste of my ten minutes and what a terrible sloppy brow wax.

I hate giving bad reviews, especially when the two hairdressers present at my visit were personally very fine. My hair stylist was very nice and personable and I enjoyed talking with her.
That said, I cannot give more than one star. This is hands down my worst hair experience ever (and I got a perm when I was 12).
First, the place definitely needs to improve cleanliness. After 30 seconds in the shop, I was about ready to turn around based on that alone.
Second, I decided to lighten up my hair a couple of shades. As I’ve gotten older, my hair has become a bit darker and I wanted it a more medium-​blonde for the season. I don’t dye my hair often (the last time I did was 7 yeas ago) but I thought «it’s only a couple of shades, not bleach, these are professionals». Oh boy was I wrong. While applying the dye, dye was everywhere. It got on my lips, my arms, etc. and I was too shy to say anything, but try to discreetly wipe it away.
After it was rinsed out and dried, the color was OK. Not exactly what I wanted but, it was OK. Maybe like a shade and a half different, not the 2 – 3 I hoped for.
Cut to the morning of my next hair wash at home. I dry my hair and look in the mirror, «hmmm why does my hair look slightly orange/red…maybe the lights are weird in here». I shrug and go about my morning. My husband and I decide to go for a walk when he says, «your hair looks like it’s got a bit of red in it now».
Sure enough, he’s correct. The roots of my hair had morphed into some sort of auburn. Barely noticeable, but noticeable nonetheless.
Cut to 5 days and 2 hair washes later (yes, I wash my hair every other day)…the color is COMPLETELY gone everywhere but my roots which are still slightly auburn, but have thankfully faded to almost blend in.
Suffice to say, I’m extremely disappointed and feel like I just burned money for this. I’m probably going to have to go somewhere else and shell out more money to correct this. And that’s not cool.
Also, I got a trim and, well, it is not flattering. Here’s to waiting for the hair to grow out.

Aida is awful as a stylist and as a person, her attitude is terrible, maybe has to do with her race, guatemalas are full of issues. they have nasty personality due to the war and straggle when they cross the Mexican Border.

When you go to the shop, be SURE that you ask for Aida — she’s professional, pleasant, excellent at cuts and color. Repeat: you’ll be very happy with Aida as a stylist, accept no other. She’s done my hair faithfully for several years now and she’s the best!

Aida is by far the best stylist in this town! Knowledgeable and caring! I’ve been going to her for over 10 years– she is simply the best! Prices are reasonable.

Can’t make it a half star but I would if I could. My worst experience ever. Called to make an appt and they lady said to just walk in at 430 bc she would be free. When I walked in she was seeing someone. The other stylist was mad at her for telling me to walk in without taking my information. In any case, I waited one hour to get my hair cut. She didn’t even comb my hair before cutting it, forget wetting my hair — forget WASHING my hair. I understand $ 25 is a cheap haircut so I would be happy but not if you’re not even going to comb my hair before cutting it. And while cutting, she was distracted and kept looking outside the salon windows. SUCH a bad experience. An otherwise nice Russian lady but terrible work ethic. My hair looked like it got cut, yes, but it was uneven.
And this is coming from someone who’s not picky. Save your hair. Don’t come here.

I went to this place the first time for haircut and shampoo. They were doing the service for another woman, not very busy. Then another came in.
I was left waiting for 20 mins. I’m not sure they had appointment or not but the ignorance is unacceptable. I left and never back!

By far the worst haircut I’ve ever experienced. You’re better off going to a supercuts. Not only was the haircut rushed it was not more that 10 – 15 minutes (my hair is long and thick) but the entire cut was done dry! That’s right, no wash (it wasn’t even offered with extra payment), no product, not even a spray of water. And my hair is uneven. This place is a joke. I gave it a chance bc it’s next to cedars Sinai and it was convenient after work, but never again. It says 25 for new clients only. I’m surprised if any of their clients come back.

Sure, the price is great. One star for being cheap. The other for doing an all right job at trimming my hair.
Everything else needs to be updated or improved, especially cleanliness. When I had my hair washed, the lady was a bit rough and sprayed water all over my face. The towel they used to dry my hair had a huge stain from hair die on it. The chairs are covered in plastic and look like they will fall apart if you sit in them. There is hair all over the floor, piling up in the corner. I won’t visit here again.

bought a $ 23 KGB deal for a brazilian wax with Meline… she was awesome!
it took a little longer than the other places i have gone to, but only because she is super thorough! she makes the very uncomfortable process relatively painless and she’s just a great conversationist as well — makes the time go by much faster!
her regular prices are very competitive, even without the deal. regular-​priced, $ 35!
meline is great! make an appt with her — you’ll be happy!

WOW!!! I get my hair cut and colored here!!! I have John as my hairdresser. He does GREAT!!! I give him a A+ !!!

Nazila is increible for cuts and /​or color — and much cheaper than my former cutter.

i will never come here again. i got my hair cut in december because they had their $ 10 haircut deal. i’m still waiting for it to grow out. even my coworker warned me not to come here since they messed up her dye job. they do not know how to dye or «trim» hair. i left looking like somebody from «the facts of life» with a very 80’s wispy look. i’ve been using headbands and hairclips and hairties to hide my hair for 2 months now. this place is meant for senior citizens. i seriously got what i paid for.

This salon has been in business for over 30 years, and I find it interesting that no one has written a review yet.
They had a $ 10 special for first time customers. I had an hour before needing to be at work, so made an appointment around 11:15 am. I asked whether I could come in 5 minutes, and leave before noon. Yup. So I hustled over there, was greeting by a friendly Aida.
My hair was growing out so I needed a trim so that my hair wouldn’t drag. Aida was conservative about the amount of hair cut off at first, but I told her I wanted shorter layers in the front, and she caught on right away.
By the way, the cut does not seem to include a shampoo and wash if that matters to you.
Overall, a good experience for a basic trim, and I appreciated the prompt service.

«Professional Hair»? I think not. As a first-​time client I made an appointment and arrived 5 minutes early. I then waited AN HOUR before they finally told me that my stylist was not going to be arriving that day, but that I could maybe just come back later. They may have an hour of my life, but I will never frequent their salon again, so they won’t have my money. There is nothing professional about my experience with this salon.
