Potholed a tire on my Chevy Volt (which has no spare). Gashed sidewall, so the air-​pump-​and-​tire-​plug kit in the car was of no use. Naturally, this was on a Sunday at 5:00 pm. Car was due for a set of tires anyway, so researched nearby tire shops while waiting on the tow. Once we got there, the place looked like a dump from the outside. And since I came in on a flatbed, I figured the tire shop owner knew he had me by the balls. But nope! Inside of the place was clean and orderly; the crew was clean and courteous. Owner gave me a great deal on a set of tires, and the job was done before I had time to walk across the street, get a drink, and walk back. Fabulous! I’m not from that area but it’d be worth making the trip next time I need tires!

This is a good spot to go for your tires. The prices are high and over priced but the can definitely help out. The location is not that nice though since it is in highland park. It is very ghetto and the area has high crime all the time.

Im surprised by all the good reviews for this place, I was hoping that they were right, NOT! I called first thing in the morning to have our Amazon purchased tires mounted and the old ones disposed of. I was quoted $ 15.00 for each tire and that included disposal of the old tires. Not once did he mention that the cost would be more if the tire size was larger. My husband goes after work and the price jumps to $ 25 each tire! That is a huge difference especially when nothing was mentioned about a high price and I told him the tires were large and what make and model vehicle they were going on. My husband decided to go ahead with the higher fee since it was a local business… then get this at the end of the service he is told, but the $ 25 does not include disposing of the old tires! He tells this after they start working on it and we cannot change our minds. Earlier in the day it was 2.00 per tire to dispose and now at 4pm it is 3.00 per tire to dispose??? This was such a bad case of bait and switch! The Goodyear in Eagle rock would have been cheaper to work with in the end. Im all for local small businesses however not when they treat customers like this!

Came to Figueroa Tire Service due to the other good reviews. Over the phone I was quote for $ 15 per tire with disposal to get mounted. When I get there price magically changed to $ 25 due to the size of the tires. I was ok with that due to it was a local business and I’d rather give local businesses my money. Well, we get to the end of the service and I’m told by them that I have to take the tires that if they want me to have them dispose them it’ll cost more. $ 3 per tire more. WTF! At this point they had my car hostage, there was nothing I could do but take the tires. Luckily the local sanitation yard takes them for free.
Avoid this place due to the bait and switch pricing.

This place was amazing. Family run. They immediately helped me with the nail in my tire. I would defintely go back.

Open on Sundays!!! Total life savers when your tires go flat on Saturday night. Quick and easy service. Cash only.

This place is a little tricky to spot, but it’s worth the find — look for the hubcaps that lead into a small driveway /​entrance. Salomon is the man! He helped me with my tire that had a small leak in it. 15 minutes & $ 15 bucks later I was ready to hit the road! No fuss, no hassle, and no problem for the crew at Figueroa Tire Service — a complete two thumbs up, way up! Thanks again for making my stop to get my tire patched as easy as 1−2−3.

These guys are like a joyful pit crew! They got me in and out in about 10 minutes fixed my tire and I was back out in the world feeling safe and happy.

The gentleman at Figueroa Tire Service are quick, thorough and very nice! They open super early, which is very helpful when you need a quick fix. They accept CASH ONLY, so stop-​by an ATM before your visit.

I left home at 3:40p and returned at 4:09p with a fixed tire. Needless to say, they were fast and professional. Thank you !

Live close to this store and just got lucky that they are awesome! I called in the morning for a hard-​to-​find tire. They sourced the tire and called right back. Solomon is very helpful, friendly and fast. He replaced the tire quickly, cleaned my rims, and all for a price $ 70 cheaper than any other store. Highly recommend!

On a budget as I am? I got two great as-​new retreads for $ 35 each, installed in minutes without even having to get out of my car! Months later, tires are still great. Can’t recommend them highly enough if you need good tires fast. The place is a bit tricky to find because the driveway entrance is quite narrow and between two brick walls, but so worth the effort!

I was in the market for used tires for my 2007 Infiniti G35 but didn’t want to spend a lot of money since I was going to sell my car. My front and rear tires are two different sizes and not a lot of manufacturers make my size tires. I called and within 1hr I had 4 used Bridgestone Tires on my car for $ 240 including the balancing of all 4 tires. The tires have 20/​32″ of tire tread which is way more that I did have.
The shop is clean and the guys who work there are very professional and not there to rip you off like some major tire chain companies would do.
I will definitely be going back when I need tires in the future.

I found a nail in my tire as I was getting ready to go on the freeway. I needed to get this fixed asap. So I called the bigger, well known, tires stores and they were all booked. (it was sat. at noon) I found this place on Unilocal and so glad I did. The man (with cool slicked back hair) was nice, friendly and professional. He patched my tire right away, and checked all my tire air pressure. All for $ 15. Will definitely come here again. Cash only!

I’ve been going to them since 2001 and I’m in n out in about 5 minutes… normally they are $ 25 each for my ’92 civic…
