The most significant quality a physician must possess to gain the trust of a patient is their ability to connect with the individual on a personal level. It took me many years to find Dr. Feldmar. In retrospect I thought it was by sheer luck and chance, now I realize it was fate and fortune.
My story is long and complicated so I’ll do my best to make it short.
I’ve had nine surgeries on my breasts through the years. A couple of years ago I decided to remove my breast implants. After the surgery I experienced complications healing and was referred to Dr. David Feldmar, a wound care specialist. There were back and forth conversations with my primary physician, who scheduled me for an additional surgery to close the wound. It didn’t work. I took it upon myself to return to Dr. Feldmar. With the support of his nurse, Rosemary Roman, the team at Dr. Feldmar’s office healed my wound beautifully and a great relationship was formed.
During that period of time Dr. Feldmar was in the process of taking his exams to extend his practice into plastic surgery which takes quite some time. In the meantime, I had another surgery which didn’t work out as well as I hoped. I found myself back in Dr. Feldmar’s office for wound care, again. He healed me in a very short period of time. I’ve been seeing him ever since. My breasts are beautiful, and other work he has performed exceeds any expectation I could have imagined.
It’s not just Dr. Feldmar’s expertise in medicine that makes him exceptional. It is his disposition as a person, a doctor and a friend. I cannot recommend him high enough. He’s a straight shooter; he will Not perform any surgery unless he feels it will be successful and safe.
