Falafel hut is great. Bill and all of the employees are always wonderful. All of the different menu items I have tried are delicious, The falafel, shwarma and chicken kabob wraps are my favorites. The hummus and baba ganoush are also easily the best! There are some weeks when I get lunch and dinner here the same day because it is so great !!

Vegetarian plate all the way! I love the combinations that comes with the veggie plate. Fries, salad, falafel, hummus, yogurt garlic sauce, pita bread, pickled veggies, grapeseed wrap thing, and a spinach type wrap. All for about $ 8! Very fulfilling and I could barely finish it. It’s guilt free when I eat here because of the healthy options. Mom and pop owned. The couple is very friendly and informative on the menu items. There’s free street parking. Outside seating. Might be a bit loud from the carwash next door but the food makes up for it. Extra .50 credit card charge if spending less than $ 10.

As an Arab I’m very picky when it comes to Arabic food, but Falafel Hut fulfilled my needs! I definitely recommend this restaurant to any person that wants authentic Arabic style falafel & shawarma it literally puts Zankou to shame! Didn’t think I’ll ever find a place with comparable Falafel to my moms let a long better… I live an hour away & already drove there twice this week it’s that good! I also recommend their tabule when it comes to sides… not only is the food high quality but also well portioned at a GREAT price…

Bill is a champion of falafel. This little gem tucked cozily up against the car wash provides the ultimate Mediterranean street food experience in Los Angeles. Ever since I went to Israel I’ve been on an epic quest to find falafel that compares and this is by far as close as it gets in Los Angeles. It’s unique and different– little crispy donut-shaped falafels melt in your mouth as he gives them to you straight out of the fryer. It’s a small place, meaning no room for warming lamps or microwaves or any of those other things that just make food suck. The grape leaves are also incredible, as is the hummus. There is really nothing on the menu that WON’T blow you away. Here’s a pro tip– Ask Bill for the TURBOSAUCE. You won’t be disappointed. After you leave don’t be surprised if the only word you can muster up is simply, «Wow.»

This place is great! The food was delicious and cheap. Everything was quick hot and fresh. A hidden gem in Burbank. Look out for the car wash and you’ll see it!

I would like to give this place 5+ stars! Falafel Hut catered for my very casual wedding reception last weekend and we are very happy we did. The food was AMAZING!!! They delivered on time, all the food was freshly prepared and plenty of food for everybody. All our guest were commenting about how good the food was!!! Everything tastes delicious here, but my favorite are the falafel donuts… I would highly recommend this place! Thank you Falafel Hut.

I ordered a falafel wrap which was good. It came with hummus and pita chips. Loved the hummus. The falafel was in rings which was a first for me. Also tried the spinach pie. I liked the wrap more. The owner threw in some samples seeing my friend was giving the hut another go. I also tried my friend’s sausage panini. The sausage was spicy and I think it was lamb. I liked the crunch of the bread too. Next time, I’ll order the salad and add chicken like my friend did. It looked really good. The owners were nice and the food cooked to order.

I love this place… love love love. The food is always great… never had a bad experience. I would say I have been here well over 20 times. Do not be put off because of location — it’s well worth the stop. not to mention — everyone who works there is so nice. Seriously, as i finish my latest chicken shawarma, trust me… GO!

Fresh chicken shawarma wrap — with homemade garlic sauce — has never failed. I go here once a week and now consider the owner Bill a good friend. Also, excellent value and served extremely quick. On same property as a car wash — so unfortunately its usually noisy as heck. But — if the noise is a problem — you can always order takeout or they also deliver.

My favorite lunch spot. This place is really tasty, fast and inexpensive. I go here about once a week for lunch and it’s consistently great. Chicken schawarma is my favorite dish here, but the falafel plate is great too. The owner is really friendly and I rarely wait for more than a few minutes for the food. If you’re in North Hollywood, forget the chain fast food joints. Give this place a try.

seriously, i’m no falafel expert but when i decided to try this place and ordered, and told the gentleman behind the counter that i’d never been there before, he insisted on giving me a fresh little donut-shaped piece to try. it was by far the best falafel i’ve EVER had. and since i’m leaving l.a.(BOO!), i’m guessing there’s a fair chance that it will be the best i will ever have. this was just a hint at the customer service the hut offers: kindness, pride in product, and overall concern that your experience is a good one. onward. i’m NOT ignorant when it comes to middle eastern cuisine, but the menu featured items i’ve not heard of, so bear with me. you can get plates, sandwiches(including north american items like burgers, but why bother?), and sides, along with inexpensive yogurt drinks and the like. they also have a breakfast burrito. additionally, they have little $ 1 empanada-like cakes, for lack of a better word, stuffed with spinach or olives or beef or whatnot; a box of those is $ 5. they even have what they call an armenian pizza. i ordered an armenian cheese thing(not a sandwich or a plate) for like $ 3. Along with the salty, squeaky armenian cheese, it had slices of roasted/sauteed tomatoes and big mint leaves(i have a cuke allergy, but i don’t think it was supposed to have those anyway), and a ground beef sandwich thing for $ 5 with onions, tomatoes, and diced peppers inside. i believe it had diced olives mixed in. everything comes with the predictable pickled beets, pickled cukes(those i can eat), and banana peppers. the beef sandwich comes with your choice of sides — i picked hummus over fries, baba ganooj, or a side salad. it was killer hummus, and i’m choosey. little containers of tzatziki are served on the side. I got the food to go(the hut is literally next to/shakes from the vibrations of) a busy, large carwash on magnolia, and while it has outdoor picnic tables, i didn’t want to deal with the noise. i had just been to the iliad bookstore and i was eager to open my new peter taylor novel. when i opened the heavy to-go box at home, i was stunned by the crêpe or tortilla-like bread in which the food items were wrapped. i was expecting pita, which i guess this technically is, but thinner and moister than any i had seen. admittedly, the food was cooked to order in a significant amount of olive oil, and until it cooled a lot, i couldn’t eat it with my hands. i was fork-and-knife food. The flavors were there, and since now i haven’t finished my meal, it’s in the fridge beckoning. the service, again, was so stupendous, that i felt like a princess. however, one thing: because it is cooked to order, the wise thing to do is order, then get your car washed, then it should be ready. it did take a good 20 minutes to get my order. do go!

The best falafel in Los Angeles, period. Everything I’ve had there has been so fresh and tasty. I’ve had a lot of falafel in my day, and Falafel Hut put a new spin on one of my favorite dishes by adding mint, pickled veggies and other delicious flavors. The hummus, tabouli, and tzatziki are all delicious options for toppings, we tend to get all three when we go. The service here is also very friendly, It’s a small place(hut), easy to drive by, but do yourself a favor and don’t pass this place up!

Great place to eat while your getting your car wash. Seriously, this place took me by surprise. I never really crave Mediterranean food, but ever since I tried this place… I’ve been dreaming about falafels. Came to the counter and was greeted by a friendly face. I ordered the falafel plate and my husband the Chicken shawarma(I think I spelled that right) wrap. Everything was so delicious. My husband and I even agreed to share our meals. My son who is usually a picky eater ate most of the food. The guy even offered to give my son some soup… which he loved. This is definitely our spot every time we get our car wash!

I feel really bad for giving this place 1 single star, but I REALLY was disappointed. After reading all these reviews, I was very excited about a mom & pop, hole-in-the-wall style place serving kabobs? I am all about it. I got the koubideh and was so disappointed by it. Sadly, the meat was all too salty. The rice was too! The salad tasted old, REALLY sour and off. I just couldn’t eat my meal. There are plenty of tasty kabobs in this area, I’m sorry that this one isn’t one of them.

This place is such a great mom and pop hut. It’s so small and at the corner of a car wash place, but they have amazing food and service. I got the chicken shewarma and my friend got the falafel. Both were about 8″-10″ long and only $ 5 including sides of hummus! Let me tell you, it was delicious! For that man to make such great food in such a small place is incredible! The chicken was well marinated and seasoned, the pickles and pickled onions also give it a unique taste. And the hummus was smooth, not gritty like others I’ve tried. I believe that his style is more Armenian, delicious! If you’re ever in the area stop by, I know I will!

Barev! This place is THEJAM! Great owner, good prices, excellent food, freshly made, authentic flavor… I could keep going and going. I came here based on Unilocal and you fools didn’t let me down! Falafel sandwich was very big and flavorful. I’d get mine with extra sauce next time, though. Chicken plate was also big with a bit of the usual sides and juicy tender chicken. French fries were classic style and tasty. The owner is super nice and really does a good job making his customers happy. Def my new go to Falafel joint when I dont feel like dealing with the wait at that other place that starts with a «Z». BUT. this place NEEDS A SIGN. I drove by it twice looking for it. There’s the old Taco sign still which is very confusing and has gots ta go! Ayo! Merci.

It’s cheap, it’s delicious, the people are super nice. There’s a mechanic a block away from here that I go to, and I walk over here while they’re changing my oil/servicing random things. Trying to remember their name for another review, but oh well. Anyway, the Schwarma sammich was freaking epic. The guy couldn’t get his card machine working, so he was a little embarrassed, and was trying to give me a free lunch about it. It reminded me of me if I had a cool little sammich shop like this. The wind to the North East corner o the place can be crazy. So is the weird car wash in the back of folks who stare at your while you try to park in their lot… lol. So park on the street and enjoy this awesome little Noho lunch find.

What a difference a few days makes! We had another person make our meals today. It was a woman. She was very nice! I ordered 2 falafel wraps and a chicken kabob plate for take out. I could hardly wait to get home! Traffic was quite busy, and I was getting very hungry! As soon as I get home, I’m ripping open the bag. I take one bite of the falafel wrap, and wait, and wait, and wait! What happened to all that wonderful flavor? I quickly open the chicken plate and take a few bites. Whew, chicken is still good! But wait, the rice. What happened to that delicious flavor? Different cook, makes a big difference in the quality of taste! Look for the man, he is an excellent chef! Otherwise all bets are off!

Had the chicken kebab wrap for $ 4.75. The wrap was fresh, very light but still hardy. There was so much juiciness in the wrap that I made a mess allover myself. They have inexpensive breakfast lunch and dinner options. Including but not limited to falafel, shawarma, salad, hummos, tabule, kababs, burgers, panini, beorks, and soujouk. This is a perfect food stop with your car wash(they are located at the Hollywood stars car wash). They have replaced El Taco Llama. The guy who I think is the owner or manager was super nice and hooked it up with a special lemon spread for the wrap and a cucumber side salad for free because it was a hot day and because he probably noticed me drafting my Unilocal review on my phone ;). The guys also walked by me a few minutes after I started eating to make sure I was happy with my meal. Super customer service. Will be back again with my next car wash.
