EVIDENCE Film Studios is a 5000 SF video production facility located in Echo Park, Los Angeles. Our stage features a full pre-​lit corner cyc, lighting grid, 3 ton grip and electric package, drive on capability, central air conditioning & heating, and studio power. The studio has 3 bathrooms, a full kitchen set, and 2 loading bays as well as secure gated parking.

We also offer on-​site professional camera rentals through Evidence Cameras. We pride ourselves on providing the best service to all productions, from small student films to big budget commercials.

EFS draws on a century old tradition of filmmaking in Echo Park, which started with the historic Keystone Mack Sennett Studio here at the same location (birthplace of the Keystone Cops and Charlie Chaplin’s career). Evidence Film Studios is an awesome place for your production needs. Anywhere from major motion picture to indie shorts. The personnel here have made a safe haven for the creative. Their studio offers affordable rates and with a camera rental dept. attached you don’t have to go anywhere else to get an Alexa/​Mini, F55, Black Magic 4K. Seriously you won’t get a better, more personal experience from another studio in town.

We needed a last minute Sound Stage for a shoot and Evidence saved us! Conveniently located with a super friendly staff, Evidence had everything we needed.
Van helped us get the stage and was understanding as the hours shifted around in scheduling. Joel (from the camera department) remembered that I had rented lenses a couple of times in the past; he stopped by to check on our production and say hi.
We needed a couple of holding spaces for our talent and they were accommodating. Additionally, there is plenty of parking, both on the street and in a near by lot.
Everyone at Evidence was really relaxed and helpful. I highly recommend using Evidence both for equipment and space rentals.

Evidence, a place of film making, a place of happiness. Magic is made here, and is said to be even more magical than disneyland it self!
With the sharpest glass and the whitest cyc, Evidence proves to be a dominant yet modest facilities with some of the friendliest staff and durable equipment. I’ve been filming at evidence for over a year now and they have the top spot in my books. Countless hours of good times, and good vibes while making that american dollar.
It just doesnt get any better than Evidence.

Evidence Studios is the best. I’ve shot a number of things here, and it has quickly become one of my favorite stages in the city. Friendly staff and always clean. They have quite a number of different prize packages to help fit what ever size project you need. I’ve come in for four hours, and I’ve also filmed upwards of 16 hours.
A lot of small, but nice things are included in the rental, like a decent grip package, stingers, some sand bags, lights on the cyc (which you control through an iPad), a kitchen area, tables and chairs and a sound system thats great for play back. The two dressing rooms are great for bigger projects.
Plenty of Street parking, as well as a couple of parking lots. Their loading door is big enough to pull a car right onto the stage (which we did last week with a porsche).
Finally, they have a great camera rental department. I highly recommend Evidence

We recently shot a music video at the Evidence space in Echo Park and had an amazing experience! After shopping around for spaces, we quickly found that most places are more or less the same, some varying in size, but all offering the same kind of services. Where Evidence made the biggest difference for us was their customer service, attention to detail and competitive prices.
It’s not an enormous space, but it was perfect for what we needed. We also brought in a projector that did not come with the proper power adapter. It was a Saturday morning and our rental house was not open. Marcin called in their resident electrician to help troubleshoot immediately. He was there with the right gear and we were up and running within the hour. It was amazing actually.
Joel and Marcin have really put together a place that caters to the filmmakers in a way that allowed us to focus on our production and not sweat the small stuff. Truly grateful for that experience!

Really clean and versatile space with amazing service. If you are looking for a professional studio, this is it. Great location with a contemporary atmosphere and plenty of space. The studio is a blank canvas for your next big production. Fantastic space.
