Amazing service! The owner of the shop is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and very thorough. My computer was fixed in one day and still works great two weeks later. The prices are very reasonable also. The owner, Justin, even downloaded antivirus/​malware software for me and explained and walked me through how to use it. Overall, an excellent experience!

I highly recommend ER Computer repair. The owner is honest and very reasonably priced. Service is quick with no bs or fuss. Seems to me the most honest place on Santa Monica for computer repairs.

When your computer fails, you’re left at the computer repair shop’s mercy. And if you’re a college student like me, every day apart from your computer means another day at the noisy packed computer lab at school.
Anyways, ER Computer Repair came to the rescue. Although I have a good knowledge about computer hardware and software, sometimes it’s best to save some opportunity costs and let a specialist handle it. And Justin did just that. Not only did he diagnose the issue within hours of drop off, he took every precaution possible to try to salvage the part that I had suspected needed replacing (the fan). (Sidenote NEVER BUY AN HP) Only after he had pulled apart the computer, cleaned out the fan, reoiled the fan’s motored and put everything back together did he deem it was necessary that the fan was out. He did not try to automatically up charge me to replace the fan. Now that is customer service. Justin was completely open to give me any information I inquired about and let me know the status of my repair every step of the way. From ordering the part, estimating the day it would come to the store and how long the repair would take. Throughout the transaction I felt confident that I was going to be taken care of without being swindled or cheated in anyway. If I ever need any sort of repair or tech advice, Justin will be my go to guy.

I really was on the fence about returning to this shop. My last experience was not a good one; but it is close to my home and frankly, I was too lazy to look for another shop.
Boy am I glad! Was so relieved to find the shop was purchased by a nice guy named Justin who worked on it right then and there, and pretty much confirmed my suspicions — I will need a new laptop.
He was thorough in giving me my options and the costs involved. He was great about taking the time to recommend a replacement and giving me tips to avoid the same problems in the future.
He will be recovering my files for me and hopefully I will be just as impressed!!!

I broke my laptop screen and Justin Walker repaired it quickly, efficiently, and most of all affordably.
He was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable.
I called other computer repair places and everyone quoted me twice the amount Justin charged me.

Quick shout out: I went in with a busted HTC One X, and rather than upsell me or run me around, Justin talked through the costs and then honestly agreed when I said that in my position just replacing the phone seemed like a better idea. He struck me as honest and straightforward, and I’d definitely go back to ER when I have need of their services.

I noticed several one-​star reviews, but I had a great experience with them. The repair wasn’t super fast, but he kept me in the loop and called me every time he had an update. The most important thing was that he was able to fix my computer, and saved me from buying a new laptop.

This is the worst computer repair store you will ever find on the westside or in all of Los Angeles. Do not even think that your computer is in good hands when leaving your computer with them. They were suppose to fix my motherboard and it seems like they decided to sell my hard drive and deny ever receiving it. They double charged me and never blinked twice. You think they are nice honorable business people until you realize that your computer was dismantled and sold off in pieces. Whatever you do, do not leave your computer in these peoples hands. Pay a little bit more but take your computer to someone who has more than five people giving them a good rating. It could be that there best friends wrote about them to entice other foolish people to go visit there shady store.

The worst computer repair store in WLA. Worst attitude, worst repairs shop and they will rip you off. Double charged me and refused to reverse the charge. Sold off my hard drive and claimed they never had it. The store needs maintenance and repair. They are disorganized and if they loose something, oh well it’s the customers fault. Pay a little more but go to a legitimate repair store who don’t sell destroy your computer. I ended up having to buy another computer after them having it for 6 weeks.

These guys have saved me in a crisis twice! Both times I was in a crunch to meet a huge job deadline and had computer failures. They recognized the urgency and were able to fix my computer issues within 24 hours, saving me from client disaster.
They are easy to work with and very professional. Highly recommend ER and I will use them again. They service both Macs and PCs.

Highly recommended! Alex and crew do exactly as they promise. My laptop screen was useless due to a broken hinge, The part was not readily available — after taking the computer apart in order to diagnose the problem, the IT guys actually re-​assembled it and provided instructions on how the computer could be used via a monitor and HDMI cable while we waited for the part to arrive. As a result, I did not lose any time and within a few hours after the part was delivered, my computer was repaired. Communication and customer service are excellent!

Stopped by Saturday around 1230 PM. Told the gentleman my computer issues (wouldn’t display anything on the screen and fan would run even when computer was turned off). Filled out the form and not even 30 minutes later he called me back to tell me what was wrong. Fluid damage that caused oxidation. He said that it could be fixed and it would be ready by 230pm the same day. I was shocked at how quickly and efficient the service is was. Low and behold my computer was ready at 230 and works better than before. Friendly service. VERY low prices. HIGHLY Recommend this repair spot.

I first went to ER Computer Repair in Jan. 2013 when my HP laptop was infected by a virus because of an unsecured Starbucks Wi-​Fi network. I went to the closest computer repair place to the Starbucks since I needed my laptop working right away and was worried about my data being compromised. I had the free anti-​virus software running from Microsoft, but the virus destroyed that software and became embedded in the operating system.
The owner and IT person at ER Computer told me it would cost about $ 90 to figure out what was wrong and to remove the virus. It seemed like a lot, but I agreed to it because I wanted my laptop working again and didn’t want to drive around looking for another place. Fady removed the virus and other spyware I had that same day and gave me Norton anti-​software free for a year. He also installed another GB of RAM because my laptop was running slow. I had to pay extra for the RAM, but it wasn’t that much. I was impressed with the level of customer service from a small computer repair store. It was much more personalized than other places I have taken my computers to in the past, such as Geek Squad, located in Best Buy stores.
Before I left the store, I signed up for the $ 10 a month computer service program which allows me to get my laptop repaired anytime I have future issues with viruses, software/​hardware issues, etc. Parts are extra, but it has been a pretty good deal so far. My laptop continued to have some other issues so I would take it to Fady a few more times since the virus attack and he would usually fix the problem within a day or two. I also appreciate how Fady will explain to you what the problem was on the computer and he will even give you tips on how to maintain your computer so that you don’t experience further issues. So, if you have any computer issues and don’t want to get ripped off, I would recommend taking it to this place because you get great, personalized service and Fady is almost like a buddy of yours who just wants to help you get your computer up and running again as quick as possible. For those who have Macs or tablets, he knows how to fix those as well. For me, I still prefer to use Windows PC’s.

Fantastic service! Fady guided me through the repair process with a very sure hand and gave me excellent advice. My computer actually performs better than when I brought it in. He made me feel like a VIP customer and gave me a very fair price. I’m very happy with the repair for the cost and feel like I have a brand new PC.

The owner of this business, Foddy, is one of the most pleasant men I’ve ever met. More importantly, I took my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 in for repair and he was upfront about the repair process and said if he couldn’t repair it then he’d notify me and not charge for having already ordered parts and spent time taking it apart.
While my phone was in the shop for the nite he lent me a laptop to try out because I had told Foddy mine was not running optimally for my business. Nice touch on his part!
Result was that the phone was not a cost effective repair, no charge, and got a laptop at an amazing deal. Definitely won my business.
On an aside, I had the pleasure of meeting his father at the shop and he too was a sweet, sweet man. Thank you Foddy.

These guys are great!!! they are genuine, nice, fast, and excellent at what they do. I am a real estate agent and I count on them frequently to assist with computer problems, updates, and have even replaced my computers with them. father and son opperated these are my go to guys.

Thank you ER computer repair! I wanted to wipe off an old computer because it was running slowly. Fady did it within 2 hours and helped me reinstall Windows and Microsoft office. Super helpful and professional! I will definitely go back in the future!

When I accidentally spilled a full glass of water on my girlfriend’s (open) laptop, I literally rushed it over to Fady at ER COMPUTER REPAIR and for a reasonable price was able to get ALL the data off of it (of course, she hadn’t backed up in a YEAR) as it was dying /​failing /​corroding and put it on a drive within a day. He totally saved my butt and my girlfriend from killing me. Run, don’t walk to Fady’s!
