History

Established in 2005.

We began operating in early 2005 and within 3 years had helped with over 500 students. Today, Elite helps students of all ages and abilities raise their grades, test scores and reach their academic goals. Additionally, Elite now offers custom test prep classes for the SAT and ACT for public and private schools.

Meet the Business Owner

John P.

Business Owner

John Peters is the founder and owner of Elite Home Tutoring. Credentialed in both teaching and educational administration, John has facilitated private tutoring services for students for over 11 years. He attained his BS in Education at Central Michigan University and his Master’s in Educational Administration from California State Bakersfield. He taught middle and high school mathematics for 7 years and was nominated Outstanding National Teacher by the NHS organization. As a teacher in the AVUHSD, he noticed that many students were failing the CAHSEE exam because they were not getting enough personal attention. He began privately tutoring students for the CAHSEE and in the process created Elite.
