The BEST job I’ve had done in the 25 years of working on my house. There are many flooring companies, Bob was competitive pricewise, but the customer service was superb! The installers were the most professional I’ve had in my house. If I had a question it was answered. All concerns handled before the job began. I recommend them without reservation.

It was a pleasure to work with Bob Sanchez. He delivered on everything that he stated. Our engineered hardwood floors look great. Bob spent some time with us, walked through each step of the process, provided an accurate quote, and delivered a quality product in the timeframe promised. Additionally, Bob suggested using an underlay material that saved us some money and satisfied the requirements of HOA.
No up-​selling, no project overruns. Just strait talk. I appreciate that.
Bob and his crew are professionals that I would recommend to anyone.

These guys are absolutely the best. We dealt with a few different companies in the Santa Monica area first, but are SO GLAD we went with Elite FloorCovering in the end. From the moment we walked into their showroom, it was obvious that they were a cut above the rest. Starting from their superior selection, (we ended up there because they carried the best hardwood manufacturers which I had researched online and some stuff we absolutely LOVED which we had not seen anywhere else), to the exemplary customer service (Carrie was friendly, knowledgeable and patient every time we spoke to her), to the quality and care taken by the installers (Ray and his team are amazing!), to the flexibility they showed us with a last minute schedule change they accommodated. Not to mention, they even were able to get us an unexpected discount on the hardwood AFTER we had already agreed on a price! We had a 5-​star experience all the way through. Please do not go anywhere else than Elite Floorcovering.

I would NOT use this flooring company, they REFUSE to listen to their customers. I simply asked that the carpet not be include using tacking strips (nails protruding from the carpet) at the doorways or closet openings and I was told we do what we think is best. It takes more work to pull carpets to use glue strips. Clearly, they do not care if nails poke your feet at doorways; I was advised to step over them. I would NOT purchase carpet from them. The samples I touched were harder than what I had at home. Plus, I wonder do they know that flesh punctures from rusted nails and metal punctures are toxic and cause infections…

I highly recommend Bob Sanchez and his team at Elite Floorcovering. This was my first time buying installed carpet and Bob explained every step in the process with patience and clarity. I had a great experience with the company — from the house call to measure and pick a carpet color for two rooms in my home, communication when the carpet I selected arrived, and convenient scheduling for installation. Additionally, I work extremely long hours and I’m not able to use my phone for most of the day; Bob was an excellent communicator via my preferred method of communication, email. Thanks for such a great experience with my new carpet, Bob! Hopefully I won’t see you for 20 years! (In a good way, I hope my carpet won’t need replacing for that long.)

Elite Floor Covering is very close to my house. Robert of Elite Floor Covering helped me find some suitable kitchen flooring that fit my budget. There were no high pressure tactics. He was very pleasant, as were all the employees in the showroom. Elite worked with my schedule, and were careful working around my house. I am very satisfied and am happy to tell my friends and neighbors about their services. Next time if my budget allows, I’ll go with some nice hardwood.

This floor covering showroom business was a fabulous find. The owner, Robert, and their lead salesperson, Carrie, were extremely helpful in assisting us with finding the right flooring for our home. Then their estimate was very professionally prepared and they followed up with our questions on a very responsive basis. The floor was installed by their workers who were the best workers we have ever had in our home. The workers were neat, reliable, and extremely careful with household belongings which needed to be moved or covered. Our new floors look fabulous, thanks to our working with Elite. We highly recommend this business to any one who is considering putting in new floors into their home

Called to ask for a quote/​general ballpark estimate for sisal staircase runner. The rep responds with, «No, I can’t give you an estimate. It can be $ 1,000.$ 2,000…$ 3,000. Depends on what you want.» Gave him a few important details like material, number of stairs, type of binding we wanted, but still responded with his less than helpful remarks. Found this to be rude, as he seemed unwilling to at least put some thought into helping to a customer out to come up with a ballpark estimate, which is a fair request. He didn’t even suggest that I come in to the store to discuss the details or to make a visit to our house to do measurements, which would provide him with a more complete idea of what we wanted. After calling him, I called 4 other highly-​rated companies in the area, and each person that I spoke to was more than willing to get extra details from me and to provide me with a ballpark amount without any fuss. I would’ve loved to go with this company since it’s the closest one to our house. However, they just lost a me as potential client due to their poor customer service.

I have worked with Robert twice now and been completely satisfied both times. I own rental units and time is Always of the essence. Robert came out the same day I phoned to look at the job take measurements and then suggest the best product for the situation. And since it was a rental he suggested the sturdiest product for the most economical price. The workers that came out to install the floor were on time courteous and professional and even cleaned up when finished. I had the job complete within 2 days of calling which meant I didn’t have to miss a month of rent. I recommend these guys.

If you want someone who is knowledgeable about flooring and décor, is incredibly calm and patient, and gives you amazing personal service, ask for Robert Molinar at Elite Floor Covering. Although this isn’t one of those mega stores with millions of choices, there are many selections of excellent quality flooring available. When I first went in, I was thinking about getting laminate. Robert showed me many samples, let me take many home and even brought other samples to my home. After many weeks of indecision, I changed my mind and went with carpet. Unfortunately, the color I chose didn’t work in my home, and when I called Robert in a panic after the bedroom carpet was in, he came over, and helped me choose a color that was just perfect. I was very apologetic, but Robert just said, «Don’t worry. We just want you to be happy.» And now I am!
