Established in 1993.

El Venado Bakery and Restaurant first opened its doors in February 1993. Our inspiration for opening was to open a wider space for Guatemalan culture, for us to share a part of our cuisine with the community. Since opening, we have become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Come by soon!

Sonia is the proud owner of El Venado Bakery and Restaurant. She came to America with the dream of starting her own restaurant and sharing a part of her culture with LA. With hard work and dedication, Sonia opened El Venada in 1993 and has made the restaurant into a local staple. Come by and say hi!
