El Alfarero is in a strip mall in the corner of Union and 8th. I came here today for lunch today with Martha and Oscar. This was the first time I had pupusas. I had the pork, beans and cheese combined into one pupusa. $ 2. It was delicious. I had a tamale too, which wasn’t as impressive. Service is good. The pupusas are made to order so there’s a wait.

I came here once with a co-worker during our lunch break. The small restaurant is located in a strip mall. Parking is hard to find during the lunch rush. We ordered a few different kinds of pupusas«to go». It took about 10 – 15 minutes to receive our food but it was soooo amazing and worth the wait. Great pupusas & authentic. The best was the price: $ 1 pupusas on Thursdays! By the way, the staff speaks Spanish only and they accept cash only.
