Run don’t walk! It’s the awesome 1st annual Running for Recess!
EREEF is sponsoring «Running for Recess” — a 5K fun run/​walk. All proceeds from the 5K go to support physical fitness programming for wee one at Eagle Rock Elementary. And seeing that Eage Rock Elem is a title1 school with lots of kids in need of activities afterschool… well what better reason to dust off your running shoes?
The course begins at Eagle Rock Elementary, progresses through Yosemite Park, then up and over to Occidental College, and back to Eagle Rock Elementary. There are HILLS and THRILLS along this course– something for everyone!
You can walk, you can run, you can even go with the theme and skip rope along the course! It is all for a great cause.
