I love this place. Everything I’ve had is sooo good. The phở, rice, vermicelli & chow fun dishes are all excellent. I love the egg rolls & spring rolls. The French iced coffee with boba is special. Must try it!

The Brisket phở is pretty good, but the portions are on the Small size, or should i say Haole sized. Do NOTWASTEYOURMONEY on the fried rice. It’s the absolute worst I’ve ever had in my entire life! Just plain BLAND!!! NOTASTEATASKALL!

The service was subpar. They don’t reall acknowledge you. The menu was huge and difficult to choose from, while their food was also subpar,

A solid 3 stars. Good not super great but totally hit the spot on a chilly(well chilly for California) night. I ordered the #8 rare steak beef noodle soup. I was hungry so I ordered the large. I can only describe the size as trough-like! Sucker was huuuuuuuuge! I’ll stick with regular next time. Since I ordered to go all the add-ins were separately packaged: veggies, noodles, meat. It was a little disconcerting to open the bloody package of raw meat and add it to the broth. Eeeeeeeew, but I’m a wuss. Broth was light and not too salty, meat was very lean and veggies were fresh. I also ordered a side of spring rolls which came 3 to an order and were very big! They were accompanied by a delicious side of peanut dressing. Easily made two meals out of this. I ordered a Thai iced tea as well and while it was a little too sweet it was still very tasty. Service was prompt and the restaurant was clean and dimly lit. Again not the best I’ve had but a solid place when ur super hungry. Unilocal 100 challenge: 1⁄100

Service is hit or miss but this is a nice Viet restaurant for the neighborhood. Lemongrass grill should be worried.

My new favorite phở restaurant! I’ve been to a bunch of phở places around the sgv and sfv. This restaurant was just walking distance from me. It was my first time at this restaurant and ordered the House Special Phở. I only ordered the regular size but there was so much meat. This was the first time I ran out of noodles before I finished all the meat. Don’t get me wrong, there was a good portion of noodles as well! It is also decently priced compared to other restaurants. I would eat here everyday to try all the items on the menu especially their rice dishes.

Worst place ever! First, the sign said«please wait to be seated» we waited while two other workers just talking and not paying attention to customers coming in. No one greeted us. Second, they got our order all wrong because they didn’t bother writing it down. Then, they can’t calculate our change back. This place is nice but the workers are unorganized and no management to lead then right. Go anywhere else but here, unless you want a side of headache and bad day with that.

Fix your goddamn service. Literally sitting here and figured I’d rather be passive-aggressive via Unilocal… But no one should have to wait 10 min to get their server’s attention to get the check. No one should constantly be looking to make eye contact, letting their food get cold, just to get their water refilled.

The service SUCKS. Hopefully they hire more staff to run the place smoothly. Originally was going to give it a 3 star rating cause I’ve been about 2−3x for their phở, it’s not bad nor is it the greatest, it’s a good fix. But my goodness, their service sucks so badly :/

Pretty mediocre. Up side is it’s reasonably priced and you get a pretty sizeable portion. Other than that not too much to rave about. I ordered #77 egg noodle soup w/shrimp and pork & egg rolls.

I love this place! So many items to choose from at reasonable prices. Very friendly staff and your order is done so quickly. Whether you’re eating in or picking up, you can’t beat the convenience and yumminess of Eagle Rock Noodle and Grill. I’m so glad they came to Eagle Rock. I’ve been here at least 4 times and each time the food was great.

Finally some Vietnamese home cooking in Eagle Rock! Without a doubt this is the best Vietnamese food you will find in the area. Amazing variety and just simple delicious eats. Thank you eagle rock noodle and grill!

I had the #7(phở with rare& well done steak). The broth was tasty, and light, and the meat was tender. Food came out in less than 10mins. Good service. I was surprise by the décor, for a second I thought I was at a bar in Vegas. Nice looking bar with the dim lights. Definitely worth coming back

The pork bahn mi is great, but there’s barely any meat in it. For 5 $, it’s pretty pricy. This will do for now, since eagle rock doesn’t have much Vietnamese restaurants. Oh and I called in for an order pick up, I still waited extra 10 mins. Cuz the order was not made.

Decided to come check this place regardless of the lower rating. It’s a new restaurant in the area so I already assumed that some of the half-ass reviews were pertinent to you being a hipster and writing a… yes…half assed review. The phở was good had a good amount of flavor, and the prices were good. The broth had a good amount of meat, egg rolls were on point. If you’re going to be an absolute snob about it, make that drive to Alhambra and wait in a long line at Golden Deli(personal favorite). The service was good, very attentive. It is an Asian restaurant and sometimes you may have to assert yourself. Don’t write a review based on that. Big TV, and the restaurant is kept clean. Support your local small businesses trying to make it!

Service is great– food is good– what more can you ask for? I originally started going to the pasadena location and found out about this one opening later. Best avocado shakes made from fresh ingredients ! Bean curd skin wrap shrimp is BOMB !

Against my better judgement and the sad Unilocal reviews, my brother and I tried this Phở Spot close to my shack. In all fairness the place is pretty spacious, the décor is simple and inviting, what’s really sad is that even with the nice things going on for this place is that they seem to be quite inattentive especially when it comes to cleanliness as well as in keeping the tables well kept up especially when the customer had already left their table, we arrived with dirty plates, unkempt tables, spilled left overs and water ringed glasses on at least a few of the tables — not a pretty sight especially for new customers like us looking for a new soup house to frequent — with the sad first impression, it seems that it’s not happening… So after we found a clean table to dine, we browsed their laminated menu list to see what they have to offer, since looking for an alternative soup house was our purpose, we decided on the House Special soup; Rare Steak, well done flank, brisket, tendon & tripe for $ 7.55 not a bad deal… So okay, I’m not sure if the staff have previous engagements with the neighboring Mongolian bbq staff or just busy fiddling as to which chopsticks was more pointier… but it sure took them a while to take our orders… Seriously not looking good in my Phở book… anyhow, a timid girl who seem to be in a bit of a hurry took our order, after a few minutes, two smoking hot bowl of soup was served… The Verdict… The soup was okay with generous amount of noodles, the meat has more grizzle than meat, might as well give me all tripes. Have I had a much better bowl of Phở? Definitely yes. The next question is would I be back? Actually I have, just to give it a second chance for redemption, unfortunately they didn’t fair well on my second visit either so back to my old soup house I go. I wish this place the best, who knows, I might try them again someday but not anytime soon and not till I see improvements in their rating. They should focus on attentiveness and cleanliness as the food just needs minor tweaking for improvement.
