Dash Entertainment is a boutique DJ and Entertainment booking company that has been crafting custom mixes, inspiring dance floors, and elevating special events across the country since our inception in 2005. Established to bridge the gap between the club and Special Events worlds, Dash’s roster represents highly-​skilled established and emerging DJs. Known for their ability to mix, blend, scratch, mash up and read a crowd, our DJs can appropriately set the mood and ambience for a corporate cocktail event, or build the energy to a rave-inducing-can’t find-​your-​face-​dance-​explosion for a wedding under the stars.

As DJs with thousands of events under our belt, we know what makes an epic party. While music is the critical linchpin of a successful event, we wanted more. Award-​winning DJ Nahchey has established himself as one of the preeminent DJs in the special events, party and club scenes. Having cut his DJ teeth in the club world, Nahchey continues to translate that same vibrancy, hipness and of-​the-​moment-​ness to the special events world. Known for his open-​format mixing, Nahchey combines precise technical skills with spot-​on taste in music to spin seamless blends that build, sustain, peak, soothe, and elevate the energy of a dance floor.

With his cutting edge taste and spot-​on curatorial ear, DJ Nahchey digs deep across the genres to play tracks that are never stale but always surprisingly fresh. My wife and I were very happy with DJ Phil. We had great communication leading up to the wedding. We were a little worried at first b/​c his picture made him look young, but he’s older than we thought and he knows his music. He listened to all our do’s and don’ts and added music that went along with the songs we wanted. And he was a great MC when we needed it! After our grand entrance and father/​daughter and mother/​son dances, DJ Phil got us all dancing with some great music! And that great music lasted the entire reception long! Our wedding party was a little rowdy due to some early drinking, but DJ Phil handled it perfectly and with finesse. I would definitely recommend him to others!

DJ Amara. Where to start? Within 5 minutes of meeting her I knew we were going to be fast friends. She showed up on time. Came 110% prepared. She was energetic, dressed to impress and completely ready and willing to do whatever it took to ensure a fun filled evening. Prior to our big day, we had two conversations. She asked the right questions to make sure she got to know me and my husband. DJ Amara has a 6 sense for music. She knew exactly what to play and when to play it. If the crowd was feeling a certain genre of music, she continued to play it but put her own little twist to it. By the end of the night, she let me spin and ultimately joined us for an after party where she spun for an additional 5 hours. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone! If I ever have an event, you better believe she will be there :) Thank you Amara for making our day/​night incredibly memorable!

My husband and I were extremely happy with Dash Entertainment and DJ Nahchey for our wedding in Ojai in June. They were very professional, responsive and willing to work with our musical tastes. We wanted to find a DJ that could mix the classic oldies with the new alternative and be able to really amp up the night with some dance and light EDM at our after party. DJ Nahchey did that with ease and we didn’t have to worry the entire night. He remixed old songs with new songs… I remember a Steve Wonder song moving into an old Britney Spears hit. He had mashups and great transitions. He threw in our «must plays» at the right times.
My husband and I danced the night away. We had our entire wedding party up and dancing along with all of our parents and their friends THE ENTIRE NIGHT until 1am. What we wanted was one big dance party and celebration and we got exactly that with DJ Nahchey. I highly recommend him for your wedding! We had the best day of our lives and the music was a HUGE part of it.

I can’t say enough great things about DJ Nahchey and his team led by DJ Phil and Lonnie (MC). They were extremely professional and knowledgeable about music. They kept the party going all night and seamlessly dealt with a plethora of curve balls. I would highly recommend them to anyone having an event.

We hired a violinist through Dash Entertainment, Yen. Both Nachey and Yen are very nice and easy going. Every time I reach out whether it be via text, email or phone call, they get back to me right away which I really appreciated. Yen is a fantastic violinist and truly set the mood during our wedding ceremony. She’s very professional, with a great personality. Working with them was breeze and I would definitely recommend Dash Entertainment to all my friends and family!

We hired DJ Nachey for a corporate holiday social for about 600 people this December. The one thing that I loved about working with Nachey vs. other DJ’s (unaffiliated with Dash) is his professionalism. He’s also very experienced and knowledgeable about sound equipment and was able to give me a realistic expectation on how many speakers I needed to have a successful event — something that other DJ’s didn’t mention when I was getting bids.
When it came to spinning, his music selection was perfect. There were a couple of times where I wasn’t sure if we were pushing the envelope a little with a few songs (our company is overall very conservative) but I had to remind myself that he’s the professional and to trust him. I’m actually glad I did because we heard nothing but compliments during and after the event. Lots of «Who is this DJ?» and «How did you find him?» or «I saw him once play at an MPI event.»
I would highly recommend using Dash Entertainment and DJ Nachey for your events. They’re very easy to deal with, experienced, and reliable.

We had DJ Eric Cooper for our wedding in November. He was phenomenal, very professional — nothing went wrong. We met with him a few weeks prior and went over song selections. He was very prompt in his responses to us via email. During the event, he knew how to keep the crowd dancing and the mood just right. We would highly recommend this DJ and Dash Entertainment to anyone else!

DJ Nahchey was phenomenal!
Nachey DJ’d my wedding a few weeks ago and did a fabulous job. He kept the dance floor packed all night with amazing music and mixes! I received so many compliments on the music and how fantastic the DJ was.
He was such a pleasure to work with, while we only met with him once before our wedding he was very responsive via email and was happy to jump on a calls to discuss any items we wanted to review. He listened to everything we wanted and really did a great job of playing what we like and having all the styles we love flow smoothly. He kept the night moving and did a great job of transitioning between wedding «activities».
I will not only recommend him to anyone who asks but I will definitely use him for any event I am involved with in the future. We loved him!!!

DJ Amara is absolutely amazing! We were lucky enough to have Amara DJ our wedding recently and could not have been more happy with her. She was personable, friendly, talented, energetic and FUN! We gave her quite an extensive playlist and she did an amazing job spinning great songs all through our dinner & reception. We had another DJ do a guest set and she worked extremely well with him and made the transitions completely seamless. Afterwards, many of our friends told us how impressed they were with Amara and we couldn’t agree more!
Dash Entertainment is so professional and makes booking easy. I would highly recommend using the company and DJ Amara — you cannot go wrong!

DJ Cassidy was great at our wedding and was super easy to work with. We loved all his music choices and everybody was dancing all night. Many guests commented specifically that our DJ looked like he was having such a great time, and I think that really contributed to how fun and awesome the music and dancing were. His announcements and music were perfect and non-​wedding-​cheesy and I would definitely recommend him for any event. He definitely went out of his way to be helpful and figure out what kind of music we wanted beforehand which was great. Yay!

DJ Cassidy did a great job at my event. It was a party for about 400 people with a lot of moving parts, so I was happy to have a DJ who could go with the flow while I was running around the whole night. He was great making impromptu announcements and dealing with guest requests. The music gave off the exact vibe we were looking for. Both he and Nahchey were easy to work with before the event. Cassidy even came down to the event space for a walk-​thru a few weeks prior even though he’d worked there before — just so I’d have peace of mind. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

DJ Eric Cooper is the best. He was the DJ at our wedidng in September in Palm Springs and did an amazing job. Everything was perfect and he played all the songs we wanted, he read the crowd and kept the dancing going all night long. We provided him a lot of songs that he organized into a great playlist and was able to accomodate last minute requests. He was very courteous and made sure that only the people that were supposed to speak at the wedding were able to get a hold fo the microphone. He made sure everything went smoothly and has a very relaxed personality that was perfect for the event. The DJ plays a crucial role in a wedding and even thought it maybe cost a little more its well worth it. Thanks– Gina C.

Nahchey and Amara as well as the rest of his team at Dash are the best! I have nothing but rave reviews about both of them. Music at your event is everything and these two are genius at reading the crowd and keeping the energy going all night long. On top of that as a planner they work wonderfully with all clients and knowing that either one of them will be the DJ for the night puts me at ease because they are extremely professional and on top of it.
Update: I recently had the pleasure of booking the PG Band for a wedding, and they were phenomenal. A total pleasure to work with and they kept the crowd on the dance floor the entire evening.

I had the great fortune to work with Eric, one of Dash Entertainment’s most seasoned DJ’s at a recent wedding I produced and executed for a wonderful young couple at Saddlerock Ranch.
Not only was working with Dash completely painless, but Eric went out of his way to make himself available to the clients well before the wedding date so he could be sure to understand what they wanted. And equally as important, what they didn’t want to hear the night of their wedding.
Eric had the great majority of guests up on their feet the entire night and he was brilliant at controlling the mood, tempo and excitement of this celebration.
I would not hesitate for a minute to return to Dash Entertainment to hire DJ Eric, DJ Nachey or anyone else under the Dash Entertainment banner.

Casey was the best DJ!!! Once the dance floor opened up, everyone went and the dance floor and stayed on it all night (including myself and my husband). We put so much planning and detail into our wedding and Casey was the best part. A friend had been to a wedding that Casey was the DJ at and told us she was the best DJ! Casey played all the songs we requested and added several songs and music to fit our wedding crowd. At least twenty people at our wedding were commenting on how good of a DJ we had. Casey has great taste in music and is so good at reading the audience. Because of her, our wedding was so much fun and such a memorable night for everyone! It doesn’t get better than Casey!!!

Everyone loved DJ Eric! A couple of our guests at the wedding were DJs and even they said that he is the best DJ that they have ever heard at a wedding! The flow of the night was seamless and he was professional, fun and played awesome music!

DJ Nahchey is simply amazing. We both fell in love with his mixes on his website and Soundcloud and knew that was the kind of vibe we wanted for our wedding music. We gave him a simple do not play list and just a few songs that we wanted to hear and he was able to extrapolate and read the crowd perfectly.
He also MC’d the night and his voice was clear and articulate. Our guests were commenting on how good the music mix went and that recognition belongs to Nahchey! We are so glad we chose him to DJ and couldn’t be any happier with the way it turned out.

Dash Entertainment came highly recommended to us and they did not disappoint. With so much other stuff going on with the wedding planning it was such a relief dealing with them, we gave very little guidance on the music direction and they knew exactly where to go with it; night went without one lul in the music.
They were very knowledgeable of music selection and super professional, my only regret was that I never got a chance to properly thank them for the great job they did.
