Dan the Moving Man

Dan is a FRAUD!
I asked him three separate times on the phone to confirm with me in writing that he would move me and my family. Each time I spoke to him he told me not to worry on the phone!
That’s right, I spoke to him three times and every time he told me that it was scheduled and not to worry.
This evening got an email that he can’t move my family.
Really!!! 6PM the night before we are supposed to have three guys and a truck to move our three bedroom home!
Dan is not the man or even a man.
Dan is a FRAUD!

Fast! Fast! Fast! And Punctual! Dan and Cip are the best! Professional movers! They bring all the supplies to take care of your stuff! Very easy to work with! Highly recommend!

Dan provides an excellent service! My boyfriend found him on Unilocal and used him to move last year. I was impressed with how careful and efficient the guys were, so I kept the number handy. A few months later I had to move from my house to a storage unit so I called Dan. He was able to make the appointment even though I didn’t provide much notice, and he accommodated the exact timing that I needed. He arrived on time and we did a quick walk through of the house to go over the strategy and so I could show him which items were meant to go and which should be left behind. Then they immediately got to work, quickly and carefully moving all my furniture out and into the truck. The guys were friendly and hardworking. I was amazed by Dan’s Tetris Master skills as he managed to get my entire house’s worth of furniture and a multitude of boxes into the truck with everything secured. We got to the storage unit and those Tetris skills were in effect once again as they perfectly placed all my belongings so that they’d be safe while in storage. The whole process took less than 2 hours! Of course I contacted Dan again when I was ready to move into my apartment, and he got back to me within minutes and was able to make a next day appointment. Communication has never been an issue. They quickly loaded everything from my storage unit into the truck and were headed to my apartment in less than an hour. The unloading took longer this time, because of having to use the elevator and walk a long hallway, and even though it was a long, hot afternoon of work, they never complained and were cheerful and friendly throughout. They were careful not to bump any doorways or hallways, and stayed completely on task until the job was done. I definitely recommend Dan the Moving Man. His team is friendly, efficient and professional. His price is more than fair, and it feels great to know you are doing business with a nice guy.

Dan was incredible and very friendly. Him and his team, today it was Chris, assisted in not only moving us from Long Beach to LA but made sure that they could help us with any furniture issues. The truck size is great for all types of moving and the price is absolutely affordable.

A friend referred me to Daniel and I have to say when my buddy told me that this guy was «fast, nice, & easy to work with,» I was really excited to meet this guy. Dan and his friend lived up to their acclaim and really saved me and my husband.
Last year my family and I moved 3 times in the Los Angeles area, so when number 3 rolled around, we were desperate. They not only gave us peace of mind, but truly helped us and lightened the load. I am so grateful for their professionalism, punctuality, and overall being super to be around for a few hours.
I was so blown away on how much easier they made my life. On the next move (which I’m hoping isn’t any time soon), there is no doubt who I will call.

Dan and his friend were all business from the moment they arrived until the move was completed. They were prompt and polite. They did the move carefully and quickly. They didn’t mess around; unlike Allied Movers who arrived late, prolonged the move time to dig into my wallet deeper, took multiple smoke breaks, and moved like racing baby snails. I would definitely use Dan the Moving Man in the future. And these five stars are well earned… wish I could give them 10 stars :) Thank you Dan!

Dan did a great job! We had one item to move, a piano, and it was big and heavy. Dan and his friend/​helper showed up on time, were friendly, and got the job done right. Did a better job, at less cost, than other moving companies I have dealt with.
They wrapped our piano really well, and didn’t complain when it turned out they had to move it over a non-​uniform surface (sorry guys, forgot to tell you about the gravel!). Dan and his associate were professional, timely, and efficient, Would call them again anytime.

After hours and even days of looking for movers I came across Dan the Moving Man. His quote was low and I was leary that some additional costs would be added … maybe a hidden fee here or there.
Dan gave me a quoted amount and time and said he wouldn’t exceed that amount. Dan and his associate met and exceeded my expectations. They arrived on time and promptly started their work. They worked quickly and carefully to get everything loaded on the truck. Once arriving at my new place they quickly unloaded everything.
Both places had a long walk from the truck to load and unload my things. They didn’t complain once. They were extremely hard workers and completed the job in less time than they quoted. The stuck to the budget and included everything in their one low price.
I have happily referred my friends to use them for their upcoming moves.

Really great experience! He got back to me in a short space of time, gave me a quote, we exchanged the necessary info and he did not disappoint. He also charged me really honestly and moderately and I took great care in the moving process. I hope he’s available the next time I call him! He also has all the necessary equipment and transport. Dan made my move/​life sososososoo much easier. After a move — related injury left me in a bind, Dan and Francisco came in, very last minute, and did in an hour and a half what would have taken me an entire day. Probs will never move another thing myself ever as long as this guy is in biz!

I needed to move my apartments furniture from Long Beach to Northridge and these guys did a fantastic job! I gave them a call (on a Sunday!) and they were there within an hour and a half. Everything was packed and delivered as is – everything you’d expect from a moving company!
