So we walked in and there were only 2 tables; very cute little spot that feels like you’re walking into your mom’s house. Smells good, nobody at the front counter then all of a sudden a lady shows up, very short tempered asking what we wanted to order. I’m telling you it was like walking into mom’s house unannounced! I ordered a carnitas burrito and my boyfriend ordered the carne asada burrito; served with rice and a side of guacamole and homemade chips. Very tasty, salsa was on point. The only thing that I would change was the texture of the carnitas; I was expecting shredded carnitas and I actually got chunks, but tasty. And again the salsa was very good. Don’t know if I’d make the drive to go eat there specifically but if I’m in the area I’d definitely go back for the tacos dorados which smelled deeeeeelish!

Delicious and cheap. I’m so glad I live a walking distance to this restaurant. All the food is really good. It’s a family restaurant. Every thing is made with love. The owners are kind. They have a really hot son with an 18 on his face. I enjoy this place immensely.

I had a burrito AL pastor. It was really yummy and juicy. The menu us pretty standard for a Mexican place, and it includes burgers and fries which also looked yummy based on the plate a boy was eating. I will return, especially since it’s close by. And pretty yummy.

My grandpa brings me food from here. So when he invited me to eat it freshly I couldn’t say no. I ordered their breakfast combo(3 pancakes, 2eggs, 2 bacon strips or you can switch it with sausage patties and hashbowns) and it filled me up. I couldn’t finish it all in one sitting.

Strike one. Phone not in service… I decided to stick with them and go there and order in person. I asked what was up with the phone, and the lady(owner?) was unaware and found that her son had unplugged the phone to hook his computer up to the internet! what?! Anyhoo, since this was my first visit and I literally live 3 blocks away, I ordered a chicken quesadilla, the shrimp tostada at the recommendation of the other reviewers, and 2 tacos, all to share btw. The food was pretty good! unfortunately there was no shell for my tostada. Its supposed to have one, right? I ate it with chips and it was good, more like ceviche at this point. I’d give Daddy another go round.

I had driven by this place countless times. You know how it is when you see a place that is a little hole in the wall, not thinking much of it. Being only a few blocks from my house I finally decided to go check them out ! What a gem of a spot ! Small yet simple, they have fantastic Mexican food that is some of the best I think I have had… I tried the Chicken tostada that was the best I ever had. Big strips of well grilled chicken, excellent beans, freshly made guacamole, fresh lettuce and salsa atop a single corn tortilla ! It was great ! Also ordered a hard shell beef taco that was fat in size with lots of cheese and ground beef. This was excellent as well. I love to find great little spots like this that it seems are not very crowded and they have plenty of easy parking in a private lot and make fine food. I will definitely be going back to Daddy’s Burritos again ! Please give this place a try !

I like the fact this place has a patio to dine in rather than their stuffy indoor section, but the food is delicious! I’ve always been skeptical of places like this but this place is A-OK with me. The good plates are all their burritos, cheeseburger with seasoned fries, chilaquiles and huevos rancheros. They have all types of Olé/Bang drinks; horchata, tamarindo, orange, pineapple, cacao and their regular fountain drinks. This location has ample parking, nice patio and friendly service. Give it a humble try and you won’t be disappointed :-) Happy munching!

Went for a chicken burrito to go and wasn’t impressed. Place was filled with smoke of greasy frying hamburger when I walked in. Got burrito home and it tasted like, you guessed it, greasy hambuger, not chicken. Will not return.

She wanted a burrito. Only thing that came to mind was Del Taco. she looked at me and laughed. I said ok VZ Navigator to the rescue. She typed it in and this is what came up-Daddy’s Burrito! I of course ordered a Hamburger cuz that is what I effing do. I made the right choice!!! I have no idea what kind of cheese was on it but it was melted so effing good!!! The bacon was fresh and crisp… MMMMMMMMMM. She had a steak and potato burrito that she enjoyed. We also ordered a Carne Asada taco so she could have extra meat. She is a carnivore. I was so effing satisfied. Effing Great… lol Anyhow I will be back. My favorite part was sitting in this hole in a wall watching telemundo with my girl and her just being elated by the experience… good times!

I live right next door to this place, and they’re open pretty late/early and there’s always people coming in and out from there. expect a solid filling meal TOGO. i’m not sure how i feel about eating in there, because it’s so tiny and the furnishings are dingy. the burritos are pretty greazy, but it’s pretty good, says my bf and his roomie. i’m obsessed with their shrimp tostada. i always thought that tostadas are served on those flat crispy shells, but here, they have a sh*tload shrimp and avocados in delicious cocktail-ish sauce that’s chunky with other veggies in a styrofoam box, and gives you a bag of tortilla chips so u can just scoop and eat. it’s sooooo good! i’m not sure how much it costs because i’ve always ordered it with other stuff together, but it’s so good and pretty darn healthy if you don’t use too many of the chips. *** EDIT: it costs $ 4

I come around here when I am in the mood for some quick mexican food. I have been coming here since I was in high school and I always liked the idea that I can order a shrimp tostada with everything and not drive far. There are not a lot of restaurants or coffee shops but they are bringing business in this neighborhood and i am liking that. Acroos the street i can get a caramel iced cofeeor a banana iced coffee and get a burrito on the way back. I am fan i will be bringing my spare change for some yummy food.

really, no reviews? the good thing about this place is the window looks right out on the side street, which means you can watch your car while you eat– a major plus in this neighborhood, ha ha. i went once. there were many more buddha statues than you see in the average mexican joint. i ordered whatever appeared to be their signature burrito– which it said came with peppers and onions. upon digging in i found it to be an excellent combination of a burrito and a philly cheese steak. hard to go wrong there. not traditional though. next time i’ll try something like a carne asada burrito or such like that. but yes, by all means check this place out!
