History
Established in 2008.
CrossFit Hollywood started from the desire to blend fitness, passion and community. Our first class was held at Pan Pacific Park in the summer of 2008. Since then we have grown organically and currently occupy a welcoming, yet intense, space on the southeast corner of 3rd and La Brea. Quality coaching and a supportive community have been the driving forces behind our success. We encourage you to check out CrossFit Hollywood and get in the best shape of your life!

Business Owner
Andy Thompson has been training and coaching for over 10 years. His passion for fitness began at a young age growing up in a competitive family. He mainly excelled in freestyle in-line skating, gymnastics and track and field but also played a variety of sports such as soccer, football, and snowboarding.
Andy started as personal trainer at Gold’s Gym while studying Martial Arts. He became assistant manager at a Kung-Fu Dojo in Dallas while massage school subsequently graduating as an RMT from the Texas Massage Institute. Upon moving to Los Angeles in 2005, he continued his Personal Training at Gold’s Gym Hollywood. During this time Andy began training for the Navy SEAL’s and discovered CrossFit effectiveness. He realized his goal was to share this amazing fitness methodology with everyone that crossed his path. And BOOM! CrossFit Hollywood was born.
