I took my BLS, PALS the instructor (Zach), he was great. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The classes were well prepared. I also took the ECG with John, he was very patient. The class was small which made it easy with discussion/​questions. Got certificates at the end of the day.

I give this class 5 stars the staff including Olympia went out of their way to make sure that we understood the content, were comfortable and knew how to keep us busy so that the time went by quickly! I would recommend this class to anyone that wants to get the class over with and done the right way! Also yes you will get stuck 3 try’s either with a stranger or if you go with someone my best advice is to take the class with someone that your comfortable with or be prepared lol!

Taezsa was an amazing BLS instructor. She was honest, humorous and knowledgable. The classes are pricey but worth it in my opinion. You can schedule yourself for the class that day or walk in at the scheduled time. They honestly can’t make it more convenient. Thanks for such a great class on the quick!

I took my BLS class for first time. It went very well and had as instructor Taeza Smith. Good teacher and very cool too. I would definitely go back there for other classes if necessary.

I just came here for the IV therapy and blood withdraw course. This place has it’s cons and pros. The theory packets that were given to us are very helpful. We were given multiple breaks, which I’m not complaining of. The thing I felt was inappropriate was when Olympia left early day 1 and day 2, but expected the class to stay till thee end of the 12 hours. I find that very rude, «let us all go, or stay with us as well».
I do have to say that Zack, our theory instructor was very informative and helpful. Good teacher.
Unfortunately, Olympia (I’m not saying she’s a bad person) sucked as an instructor. You can tell she is very knowledgeable, but she has a problem sharing her knowledge. She did the IV/​blood withdraw demonstration once, and expected us get it. When one of my classmates asked for the steps again she seemed bothered. She said, «I did it already». And she did, «ONCE!»…If we have 12 hours to kill I think u have enough time do it more than once. It took some rude, yet well deserved, truthful comments to get her to change her teaching attitude. I just don’t think she should be teaching. Poor attitude.
The reason I gave this place 4 stars is because, I am a believer in businesses turning their bad service around. And on day 3 when we spoke to someone (I forgot her name… This is going to sound bad, but she is the black girl who runs the office– very sweet and professional) she made it better-​offered us a «we are sorry for our bad service» apology and offer.
I got my experience, certificate, and info packet. The rest I’ll learn on the job. Like a lot of things we learn as nurses.

I want to give them 3.5 stars.
Pros:
Class availability right away. On Sundays and weekends.
Finished early… Not 9−5… We were very efficient for the first half of the class
Instructor was helpful and lenient. He was very friendly and talkative.
Cons:
Could have finished about 2 hours faster. They were running multiple classes at the same time so there was a lot of downtime while we were waiting for the instructor to get other people settled.
Cost was $ 150 for ACLS recert and there are discounts depending on your hospital and Unilocal check in.

Great place! They helped me accomplish my CEU’s that a CNA must acquire. Taszea was wonderful to work with, highly suggest this place. Thanks again guys!

I attended the 04÷10−12÷15 classes and I was very satisfied. I had a great time learning with this team of instructors. They’re all very generous to even prepare coffee and snacks for all of us!:)
Olympia was so nice and very accommodating to all of our questions during the lecture, she patiently went through the steps of proper IV insertion and blood withdrawal and covered all aspects about the topic. She’s clear and very informative. We are allowed to practice and familiarize ourselves using their equipments as much as we need to under their supervision.
On the second day, we even had more fun with Michelle doing the actual needle stick for IV and blood withdrawal. She’s hands on in teaching and guiding us with the procedure making sure everybody is doing the right thing and is safe. She’s very patient and used a positive approach to help students be more confident and relaxed during the return demo.
Thank you so much guys! Will definitely be back fo my other classes soon! :)

The training center is located at Wilshire Center in Koreatown. Parking is available at the adjacent garage and is $ 5 for the whole day if you arrive prior to 9am. Once checking in with security, you take the elevator to the 17^th floor.
/​/​[ the course ]
day one: I skipped day one of class as only LVNs must be present on the first day purely for theory instruction. I heard from the other students that the instructor was late.
day two: The second day was half theory half skills workshop. with a different instructor for each. I arrived at the office at 8:30am, class start time, & I found the rest of the students sitting in the hallway… the instructor was late. 20 minutes later, the theory instructor finally arrived & let us in. She never bothered to introduce herself to the new students, so I had to find out on my own that her name was Olympia. We took unnecessary breaks every 30 minutes during lecture because she had to look for and organize demonstration items as they were not prepared beforehand. Rather than placing items on our tables, she would throw them. She would leave the room every time a video played, & we would have to wait a few minutes for her to come back after the video ended. After what seemed like a lifetime, we finally broke for lunch at 1:15pm. The only reason this place is getting two stars is because of Michelle, the skills instructor. Michelle has a relaxed teaching style and is very clear during explanation. She makes sure you are competent on IV insertion & blood withdrawal on a dummy arm before she dismisses you for the day.
day three: Our class waited an hour before we had any idea where Michelle was. No one at the center bothered to explain that she was preparing the materials for our live stick, so we just self-​studied for the written exam. Once you pass the live stick with your partner, you can take the written exam which consists of both theory & math. You are allowed to bring your own notes to the exam.

Go somewhere else. This place has no respect for your time as the instructors are always late and take unnecessary breaks every few minutes thus prolonging class time.

Both classes were very well put together and sooo informative. Olympia and Michelle who teach the IV therapy and blood withdrawal course are so great and hands on. I learned so much during such a short course.
Anytime I need to complete a CEU I’ll definitely come back here.

Took my iv training and blood withdrawal. Great experience and i learned a lot from them. They help you to be confident and knowledgeable in iv training and blood withdrawal. Thanks to my instructor mam olympia and michelle. Highly recommended

I took an ACLS certification course with Olympia and had a horrible experience. First of all she was about 45 mins late. She was very rude, not explaining things well and just expected us to know everything. The other student and I were very frustrated by the end of the class and decided to walk away. Thankfully, the manager Taezsa Smith talked to us and encouraged us to finish the class and take the test. The reason I took the course here was because of positive reviews but sadly I was very disappointed.

I needed ACLS and BLS. I found Educate Simplify and was able to get both the following day!!! Good prices. Small classes. Complete training in a timely manner. I recommend this to all my fellow healthcare workers!!!

Going to start off with, this is a real review of the cpr class i took here. the class had a good teacher and was very understanding about my being late. got to jump right into the class. Dont know if i can say the instructors name but she was very nice. paid 55 for the class and got my cpr card on the spot. THERE ISSS ONE HUGE LET DOWN about this place. FINDING IT! let me help you. its across the street from a korean bbq place and i would not suggest parking behind that place mind you. because they charge $ 2 every 15 mins. the meters on the other hand are $ 1 per hour. just fyi. Also the other thing was that i couldnt get ahold of the office to get directions and to let them know i was running late. instead when i call it brings you to an annoying answering phone service.(hate these things) and after 2 minutes of listening to the automated bullshit it tells you to text a number. I got no response from the text message. I really hate dealing with answering machines and automated responses. It would be nice if a real person would be there to answer my questions!
so short summary on this place in case you dont want to read all that ^
PROS: great instructor! fast gratification, get in get out type of deal. and was the cheapest i could find around on the internet.
CONS: getting ahold of a REAL person is next to impossible, and finding the location especially since you cant get ahold of them.
TIPS: find parking at the meters. its $ 1/​hr but 2 hour max. should be no problem if your taking a short class.

Was there really a girl here that said she did a paid review. I believe it! I am giving them a one because I have to. I found them through coursehorse. I paid for a book I never received $ 12. and $ 50 for the class. Coursehorse offered $ 10 off so paid $ 52. She did offer me «a sheet with the information so I don’t forget it.» HUH?? I AM NOT HAPPY! It was very hot in the little office. And A MONTH later I still have not received my CPR card. My internship is set to start in a little over a week. They do not follow AHA guidelines. SMH and fist for that matter. I should not have to check behind them like little kids. I called 3 numbers. I sent a text. The recording leads nowhere but a round. I push 2 for class coordinator. Call and see if you get anyone. Goodluck! Steer Clear. Such a headache!

I came here for a last minute acls/​bls certification. They offer a good number of dates to choose from. They will email you with instructions on where to
park & directions which was very helpful. The instructor– Omar was very well qualified & knowledgable, given his years of experience. The other staff –Olympia was very helpful as well. Their teaching method was direct to the point & efficient. The class size was small so everyone got to participate. They also provided students with adequate learning tools & handouts. Definitely would recommend to others.

I went back for a wound care class July 2013. I was very excited for the class that I asked my supervisor to let me take the day off at work. It was their first ever wound care class (I should have known better).
First of all, the instructor was NOT a wound care nurse — and I only found out about it in class, the instructor was not on the emails that they sent me. It did not bother me at first because I was a previous student and I was happy with their previous classes.
The class did not start on time and the content was so elementary — I honestly did not learn anything new. The instructor used videos downloaded from youtube and asked the participants to read the powerpoint slides 80% of the time. I had questions that were answered unsatisfactorily and the instructor basically just collected the student’s questions to be addressed for the ‘future wound care class’. It was very poorly organized.
We had a very long lunch break and we finished the class about an hour early.
I already lost money taking that day off at work, paid for parking, and the class cost $ 160. Totally NOT WORTH IT. And it was a waste of time.
I got another email around November for another wound care class, this time with a wound care nurse. I think they offered it for free to the participants of the first class. I already had plans that day so I didn’t bother going. I hope that class went better than the first.

At first I was a bit reluctant to book my ACLS and BLS classes here. They never answered their phone, spotty response to text messages, and nothing via email. I must have caught them on a good day when I finally booked, because on that day they replied to text messages quickly and promptly emailed me. I’m glad it worked out.
The ACLS class was as painless as possible and BLS was done the same day. Olivia was a wonderful instructor. She even chased me downstairs to reimburse me for the Unilocal check in $ 10 discount.
This place was the best deal I could find in LA. I’m glad I found them.

I thought taking a first-​aid class would be about as fun as needing first-​aid. I was wrong!
Olympia made my first-​aid class fun and enjoyable.
Since I only required first-​aid and not CPR/​first-​aid, she took the time to run both clsses independently… I never once felt like I was a burden or like I was being ignored.
Tasia provided top-​notch customer service. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for first-​aid certifiation.
