Specialties
Cobblermania specializes in nostalgic baked goods with a healthy twist. Currently, our main product is cobblers that are vegan. Sweetened with agave, the cobblers are also diabetic-friendly. Made daily, they have no artificial flavors or preservatives.
We carry a lot of great flavors, including yellow peach, white peach, blueberry-peach, apple, blackberry, blackberry-apple, strawberry-mango, strawberry-rhubarb, pear, pear-apple, strawberry-apple, apple-peach, sweet potato, mango-rhubarb.
Cobblermania has booths at the following farmer’s markets: Torrance (Tue & Sat, 8 – 1), Culver City (Tue, 3 – 7), downtown LA City Hall (Thurs, 10 – 2), Hollywood (Sun, 8 – 1), and Yamashiro (Thurs). We also do catering as well as a lot of local events and festivals.
In addition, as there were too many plan check issues at the LaBrea/Venice stand, we are now only vending at the above farmers markets while looking for a «TURN-KEY» retail location.
I love our business and custom
History
Established in 2004.
I, Shae Seward, the owner/founder, began making cobblers for my family after having been taught how to make them by an aging aunt. Once I started making them, she stopped making them. Initially, it was just peach. Then, realizing how many other fruits I loved, I began using/mixing other fruits.
In mid-2004, I began selling the cobblers at local farmer’s markets. Becoming more health conscious, I began using agave (instead of white sugar).
In May 2007, I was on the cover of the LA Times food section as one of the top ten food vendors in the LA county famers markets.
On Thanksgiving Eve 2009, we opened our first Cobblermania stand on the NE corner of Venice and La Brea — the exact address is 1510 LaBrea.
Currently, the stand is closed, due to plan check difficulties. However, we’ll see you at the above-mentioned farmer’s markets.
Cobblermania cobblers are «So good you’ll (want to) slap somebody!»

I founded Cobblermania in mid-2004 and still love the company and our products. Having always been a foodie, it’s not surprise to me or anyone who knows me that I ended up with a food company.
I love to work and have always worked hard. Now, I’m loving my work and working hard for myself. No lies, it’s hard and challenging. It’s also worth it. At the very minimum, I cannot be fired! LOL
Well, it’s early-November 2011 and I just read an unflattering review by Ralston, a former worker. Here’s my response: Cobblermania stopped working wtih Ralston because he repeatedly failed to answer his phone at our booths, repeatedly failed to sell enough cobblers, and repeatedly smoked cigarettes at farmer’s market booths. Cobblermania does nto care about Ralston or anyone else’s sexual orientation. Love Cobblermania cobblers? Cobblermania loves you. Period. It’s really that simple. Ralston even got a lot of chances and, by the way, he was paid $ 2 extra per hour to cover transportatio
