Citydog! Club

This place is unbelievably clean and the webcam was a great feature for a first time boarding mom like me. The staff is exceptionally friendly and they even sent my pup home with a bag of treats! Pricing is comparable to the competition but I think Citydog, even with the extra holiday pricing, is worth every penny! I will definitely use this place again for daycare and boarding. I haven’t used their grooming services but that area was also spotlessly clean and the dogs I saw coming out with fresh cuts looked great!

Love this place! I happen to work next door so it’s wonderful! Love the cameras. Always gives me a laugh to turn those on at work! My dog loves it here and he got groomed once. They did a great job deshedding him, which is extremely challenging. Great location and great staff! I feel good about leaving my dog here during the day!

My Champ loves coming to City Dog. The staff is very friendly and I am always confident that they take good care of my sweet puppy. The only thing I would change is that I wish they had larger packages available as Champ goes most every weekday.

Our little fur-​baby, Captain, has been groomed twice here now and we’re hooked. Jessie is awesome! Check out the before and after pics I posted. One before his first grooming at Citydog! Club. Then one a week after his appt as our ring-​bearer at our wedding – looking adorable. And then one from today’s visit. We got the «best in show» package today (add $ 20: blueberry facial, paw balm, teeth brushing) and I’m so glad because the blueberry facial makes his face so clean and smell oh so great!

Took my dog for here for the first time today. She got a cute hair cut and a flea bath. I wanted to give this review for the manager (?) Ruby. When I had Initially called I talked to someone who told me the pricing for hair cut, bathe, and flea dip and it was confirmed.
When I went to pay for it however. it was $ 30 more then what I thought. Ruby was so nice and understanding she gave me the price that I thought it was since it was a misunderstanding. She was super cool about it and I was happy and so was my dog! This place is cute and I will be returning. :)

CityDog! Club is my dog’s second home! He loves to walk in each day! The staff is always great and they recently upgraded their webcams!

I love this place. I don’t think I’d take our dog anywhere else. Our shih tzu is a rescue, and it took her a couple of visits to warm up and realize she wasn’t being left forever, but now she is totally cool with hanging out here. It usually takes her a long time for her to warm up and feel comfortable with people, but she loves and respects the people here. It’s a great way for her to socialize and meet friends. I like that I can check in via webcam and feel assured that she is happy and chilling. She has also had a couple of grooming appointments, and they are fantastic with her. Thank you for being so wonderful, and taking care of our little girl!

I love it here. I used to take my pups to the healthy spot but this is their new favorite place. I have two rescues and one of them always leaves shaking in fear after the groomers, but not this time. He was super stoked after his new do. Added plus, he looks so cute! Everyone I met was so sweet. Love love love.

So I’ve been bringing my pooch here for a few years now and it is time for a review update.
I would not consider going anywhere else, especially for their grooming services.
First off, this place is adorable and clean. They have the cutest items in the gift shop area and the most awesome groomer, Jamee. I almost hate posting this because that will make it harder for me to get an appointment but she deserves the praise. My pup gets compliments on his styling every single time we go out.
Today, we went in for a bath and blow (without the full groom) and Monica was Joey’s bather. She did an outstanding job!!! He smells so delicious that I could just eat him up! How is that different than any other moment with my dog??? It’s not, but it is so much fun to burry my face into his sweet smelling fur. Thanks to Monica!
Every time I go to pick up my pooch, he is a happy little boy and he even gives kisses to their staff and that my friends say it all!

I’ve taken my dog Boba here for boarding 3 times and day care for 2. She is a shy/​timid dog when it comes to being in a group of dogs. I like how they divide the dogs depending on their temper/​size/​age in three areas; one for large, one for small, and one for timid dogs. I saw that Boba was in the large dog area and was moved to the timid area through the web cam feature online. I like how you can see how your dog is doing through the web cam giving you a peace of mind. The place is nice, clean, and bright which caught my attention in choosing a place for my dog to stay at while I’m away. Also, the place sells cute dog stuff such as toys, dog water bottles, treats, etc. near the entrance area. Big plus is the place doesn’t smell like dog but a clean scent! The staff are all nice and friendly! The pricing are reasonable too! For half day (5 hours or less) day care its $ 22, for full day (pretty much morning till they are close) is $ 37, and for boarding overnight it cost $ 52. I’ll be coming back here for sure!

I am so happy and relieved that I found this place. I have tried out multiple options for dog boarding and sitting, and this one beats the competition by far. As soon as you walk into the building, you notice the significant difference between this place and the other dog boarding places. It seems spotlessly clean and modern. All of the staff members that I’ve interacted with have been MORE than helpful and friendly. They are always smiling, and they look like they actually love their jobs. Some of them even remember my dog by name, which makes me feel so reassured because it proves that they pay attention to the dogs while they are there and that your pets get special attention.
They provide grooming and boarding, so you can kill 2 birds with 1 stone. They provide multiple options for boarding, so you can either leave your dog in the play park with other dogs or your pet can get its own private suite.
They have their own parking lot, adjacent, which is convenient. It’s about $ 52 per night to board your dog, and they do charge extra if you don’t pick up your dog by noon, but I think for the service and clean facilities, it’s worth the cost.

I usually wash my dog Shyla but I figured she would surely enjoy a day at the spa. After reading multiple reviews, I found City Dog Club. Luckily, it is only .5 mile away from my house. I called the front desk and a very kind woman excitedly greeted me. I was able to email Shyla’s vaccination records to their office and booked an appointment for a wash. I cannot express how satisfied I am with their service.
Having never been there before, I had no idea who or what to ask for. Shyla was very lucky to have been pampered by Jessie. We will definitely be coming back and asking for Jessie. She was extremely professional, talented, and obviously cares for the dog she is treating. They gave me a call 15 minutes before Shyla was ready so I had a heads up. Shyla came out as happy as ever, looking beautiful, and smelling wonderful. I highly recommend City Dog Club as well as Jessie for your dog’s grooming needs.

I was REALLY impressed the first day I walked in few months ago and they never
disappointed me to this day!

Today was hard, and Citydog! Club made it all worthwhile.
I volunteer at the NKLA PAC next door pretty often and a lot of the staff members there take their dogs to Citydog! while they’re there. The walkers and staff members (of Citydog!) I’ve run into are all always so pleasant and wonderful. Since I’m moving soon and need him to stay somewhere while we lug around furniture, and I’d like to socialize him more (he’s insanely shy, anxious, and skeptical of new people/​dogs), I contacted them via their website for pricing. Everyone was nothing but pleasant through email and then over the phone while I scheduled my Meet and Greet.
Today was our Meet and Greet. I got there a few minutes late (but called ahead to tell them that) and they were all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately *I* am a total dumbass and forgot his vaccination records. The man at the front, Rocco, who I think is their GM, was very apologetic (even though he literally did nothing wrong) and offered to let my vet or the shelter I adopted my dog from send the vaccination records to them. Unfortunately (AGAIN) my vet doesn’t have copies (they weren’t the ones who vaccinated him), and BFAS wasn’t open until noon.
Welp. Back up to the Valley I went.
An hour later I get back and he and the girl with pink hair (Sara) were friendly and welcomed me back like I was an old friend. UNFORTUNATELY BFAS had not kept my dog updated on his bordetella vaccines and those are absolutely necessary for a place like this. They recommended the West LA Shelter’s clinic for the nasal-​based vaccine so I could still do the Meet and Greet today. They looked up the address for me and everything! Rocco and Sara were sosososo nice, BUT OF COURSE the shelter doesn’t do the nasal version– which is the one that doesn’t take a week to get through the dog’s system.
So over I went to VCA, which is right nearby Citydog! Club. Rocco had told me about a coupon for your first visit free at VCA. I’m glad he did because I saved almost $ 100 that way! I called him to tell Rocco I was still coming and he was very appreciative of that.
FINALLY we got to our Meet and Greet! There were more staff members there now and all were extremely friendly and welcoming just like Sara and Rocco had been. My dog’s very nervous in new situations and around new dogs, but he passed his Meet and Greet with flying colors. They introduced dogs one at a time and separate them based on energy levels and personalities. I think it also helped that there was a very calm, patient staff member in there with the dogs; I watched for a while and she was very attentive. There’s at least one person monitoring every group of dogs. He had a nervous poo and I saw her clean it up IMMEDIATELY.
They also squeezed him in for a quick nail-​trimming, which was $ 10.
The whole place smells amazing (especially for a place full of dogs), is very hip and modern, and CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! All the dogs there looked insanely happy. They sell cute clothes for your doggie too! If my guy tolerated sweaters I would’ve spent even more money today.
The Meet and Greet is free, but you need to buy a day or package of days so you can just drop your dog off for playtime. Otherwise I think you have to pay every time when you get there. They hand you a thing with Play Park, Style Bar, and Sleep and Eat pricing so you can take it home and see. I got 5 days for $ 175 (a $ 10 savings) and it lasts for a YEAR! I was amazed by this! The package you get lasts for a year AND you can break up the days into half or whole days!
I’m so excited to take my guy here on a more regular basis. (:

Visited Citydog! Club today in search of a place to board our dogs. Loved it! Incredibly clean and bright. A happy place! Play areas are large and organized by animal size and activity level. There were two areas for big dogs: one for active and playful dogs and the other for more ‘chill’ dogs. I laughed out loud because all of the chill dogs were napping and laying around on pillows while the active dogs were chasing each other around and having great fun.
My dogs can sleep in the common play area in little igloos, on raised beds or around wherever they choose or I can get them a cozy little kennel room together (which I actually like because they are older and enjoy sleeping together).
The staff were prepping food while I was there. They were organized, professional, and incredibly clean. The place operated like a professional veterinary clinic (but was fun!).
The questionnaire for acceptance is a reasonable length and asks thoughtful questions. I am taking the dogs in for ‘an interview’ to see how things go.
Prices are comparable to all other ‘pet hotels’ and I can add on a morning and evening walk to keep their routines consistent.

We’ve been bringing our dog Marley here for over a year now. He loves the place. He loves to play with all the other dogs. He’s had baths and comes back softer than ever. The staff takes great care of him and are always excited to see him. Sometimes he doesn’t eat all his food, but the staff does their best to get him to eat… sometimes he’s just too excited.
Their boarding service is great; they have different options where the dog can have his/​her own den or sleep in the play park with other dogs.
I can’t stress enough how comfortable we feel dropping Marley off here. You can tell every staff member loves dogs. As for the people mentioning their dogs coming back with cuts, mine has come back once or twice with a small scratch, but come on, they’re dogs! They play by chasing each other and tackling each other, etc. Obviously I don’t know the extent of what’s happened to other dogs, but mine has always been completely fine and worn out from a day of fun.
Almost forgot! They’re multiple locations came in handy when we went to Seattle and needed to drop our little guy off after a long drive up the coast. Didn’t have to bring any paperwork because he’s in their system.
I highly recommend Citydog.

–SUPER clean environment! I love that it doesn’t have that nasty dog smell that a lot of these places tend to have. It actually smells clean!
–Everyone we have come into contact with at Citydog has been very friendly and sweet to our pup
–They have a fun little shop with random toys and bits you don’t really see anywhere else. During Halloween they were selling the most adorable costume hoddies! OMG! I almost died and wanted to buy them all.
–They always to a great job grooming our dog and he always looks great and happy when he comes back.
–As soon as they are finished grooming they give you a polite and friendly phone call!
Great service! Wouldn’t trust my pup with anyone else!

Apparently, I was holding off on putting in a review to try out their grooming service more than once… I think I’ve used their service at least three times so wayyy over due!
I remember my first appointment here. I was able to get my dog in the same day. I appreciated the fact that they required proof of current vaccines. My little one was a little nervous about the echoing sounds of barking from the day care. But, thank goodness she’s good once she realizes she’s there for a just a grooming. The facility is huge from what I can tell. I like that the grooming section is up front, and you can actually watch through huge glass windows.
The staff is extremely pleasant, and so sweet to my little drama queen. They don’t judge her for her nervous ways, and her groomer really takes a gentle approach when she tries to take her as she clings to me for dear life.
Her hair cut is always on point, and I swear she prances when we walk out the door! The cherry on top — it takes me less than two minutes from my garage to their lot! A million trillion stars for that bonus!

CityDog Club is the most impressive Doggie Day Care I have seen around town.
I manage Class A High Rise office buildings in West Los Angeles and this place is nothing less than First Class. Everything from the staff, the décor (grass, walk paths, park benches, painted cloud ceilings, vibrant wall graphics), the top notch doggie training and service barks of perfection.
Yesterday was the Meet and Greet (thorough assessment of my dogs behavior, observation of how they interact with groups of simillar sized dogs, their needs, etc). Today is their first full day of doggie bliss at City Dog; once we pulled into the parking lot they squeeled with excitement.
I am thrilled to provide my 2 dogs the ultimate canine experience; they get to frolic all day and make new friends, take a nap to music, get fed or groomed if necessary.
Go and check it out, you will be highly impressed with the cleanliness, the staff and all the amenities.
