Cisco’s Crazy Scissors

Took a big risk coming to Cisco’s Crazy Scissors for not only a haircut but hair color as well. After seeing the work he does with color online I decided that I really liked his work and I wanted to take a chance so I called and made an appointment with Francisco. He lightened my hair but he didn’t damage it although he did use bleach. The way he placed the highlights and the color he chose really match my hair beautifully but most of all it looks so natural. He’s a very talented hair stylist and colorist. He really knows how to work with color and he’s very friendly, professional and easy to talk to. I love him and his shop! Gracias Francisco

Got my haircut here n was not happy, at all. First off, when I walked in, it wreaked of cigarette smoke. I thought, «what the heck?!» It smelled disgusting, like someone had been smoking for weeks, or months, on end in that salon. Next, I forgot his name, (Spanish accent guy) just chopped my hair, no style, nothing! It came out terrible, and the thing is, is that what I wanted was pretty darn simple. I had straight shoulder-​length hair, no layers or anything, it was a blunt cut, and I just wanted it shorter, that’s it, nothing else, but just 1.5 inches shorter. We’ll obviously, even that was too difficult for him. Long story short, he screwed up my hair. I went back immediately after cus I didn’t realize just how bad he had messed it up til I got home n was really looking at it. When I went back for him to fix it, I told him what he did wrong n what I wanted, n he screwed it up again! I will never come to this place again. I suggest you save yr $ 20.

Love Cisco’s very professional environment– they treated me very nice did not wait long– they offered me coffe– i love the cleanliness– Fun place to go and the price was right!

I decided to follow everyone else’s advice and requested Francisco. He was simply amazing. I’m a very difficult person to please and very hesitant about a new person cutting my hair, but I left feeling absolutely in love with my haircut. It was also convenient to be able to use my debit card to pay and he was absolutely spectacular!

Got a cut today from francisco and I am so happy to have tried his service. He’s friendly and professional. He gave me soft long waves and styled my hair right after. Cost was super cheap in comparison to $ 110 cut I usually get somewhere else. I left Cisco feeling oh so happy!

You get what I pay for.$ 5 bang trim and my bangs are stuuuuuuuuupid looking… luckily it’s only hair and 2 – 3 weeks from now I can go to my normal place and have my regular guy hopefully make my bangs fabulous again… But the dude with the long hair was nice (so 1star)

I went yesterday for cut and color and I was very satisfied. I showed Francisco a picture of the color and cut I wanted and he did a great job, especially with the color.

I’ve been coming to Francisco for 9 long years he is great, nobody touches my hair but him. Whenever there’s family events going on my family comes to him for hair do’s and make up. He’s just the best, friendly, and knows exactly what he’s doing. Most of all prices are sooooooo reasonable.

Amazing!!! Only place I’ll get my hair done. I only see Francisco, he’s amazing at color. I’ve had ombré and plain colors to 3 different colors at once and every time I love it. My hair never gets damaged and he always protects it from the heat with all of his great products.

So I’ve experienced a horrible hair cut in the past, before I found a lady that I was a faithful customer too for 15 yrs then sadly she sold her place so I have been very hesitant for the past 3yrs to let any one touch my hair (it was past my butt) until I met Francisco through his brother that works at the Highland Café. He’s Awesome, from the second I sat on his chair he made me feel so comfortable, I knew I had made a good choice and listening to his brother. I love my hair. I can’t wait to bring my daughter and mother here. Your new faithful customer.

We were in the area looking for another salon this passed Sunday but they were booked for the day. Ciscos came up in our Unilocal search but said it was closed on Sundays. Bummer right? We happened to drive by on our way home and saw it was open! U-​turn that whip right quick and stopped in. It was quite empty but I was ready to get my super long locks clipped, it was past due. Last hair cut I had was over a year ago and my straight hair was down past my waist. LuLu took me right in and asked me what I needed. I got a shampoo and cut. I asked her to cut my hair to my shoulder blades (took off about 8″) with a few soft layers and to have my bangs the way I usually wear them but a little shorter. You know how usually you don’t get exactly what you want with a new hair stylist because, I don’t know, they think what you want is what they wanna give you? Well, not here! LuLu gave me EXACTLY what I asked for and it looked GREAT! It didn’t take long for her to cut, layer, and blow dry at all! She wasn’t even rushing or anything. Best $ 25 I’ve spent in a LONG time. I’ve spent more on my hair before, upwards of $ 75 for the exact same thing with a hair stylist who does celeb hair. At ¹⁄₃ of the cost, I’m totally coming back to LuLu… on Sundays!

I was on my way to Café Leche across the street with my computer under my arm as I stepped out of my car and saw I was right in from of a hair salon.
I need a trim on my hair in development project. Right now its super short up the back and kinda long and sloppy on top. I like the contrast.
Creative spirit aside, it seems I left a couple holes back there on that self cut I performed but Joel fixed it up and I felt like I had just got a $ 10 massage with the different buzz thingies he used. Makes it worth having short hair!
I will be back. Regularly.
The place needs a makeover, the sign is from a different era but don’t let the chabby sans chic cover ruin the book within. I’m using too many metaphors because I’m excited and I want the secret to get out so they stay in business for me.

Best place to get your hair cut. Girls complain about going in for a trim and getting half of there hair chopped off, well that never happens here. They always satisfy, Luis is the best. Has an amazing hands with hair. You will be BLOWN away (;

Francisco is a genius when it comes to color and highlights. He has over 20 years experience and it shows. I suggest you book an appointment, especially on Saturdays. His staff is also very experienced.

Great cuts! Reasonably priced!
A few years ago I was looking for a place to cut my long hair short and a friend took me to a very reputable, appointment-​only place on the westside. I went along assuming that you get what you pay for, but wasn’t satisfied with the cuts and never even received a compliment (not that I’m vain, but for the price… I kinda expected something)
On a whim I tried a $ 13 cut at Cisco’s Crazy Scissors because it’s around the corner from home. I liked the cut and received a couple compliments the next day. I was reluctant to go back because the same stylist was no longer there and went to the fancy place on the block, Manic Panic. I was taken in by the atmosphere but wasn’t happy with the cut. My roommate also tried Manic Panic and felt the same. After another 18 months of hair growth I returned to Cisco’s Crazy Scissors and Francisco gave me another great $ 13 cut. Thanks, Francisco!
