I am in love with my hair extensions! I have always wanted to get hair extensions because even though my hair is relatively thick, it just doesn’t grow past a certain length and the ends always get really brittle and dry. I have red hair though and was concerned I’d never find a place that could match my hair color perfectly. I saw all the rave reviews for Jennifer’s spot and I figured why not atleast go for the consultation. Jennifer is very sweet and genuine and didn’t try to push anything on me. But when I saw the swatch of hair that matched mine, I knew I had to have them. We talked through all the options and she was very helpful at explaining everything to me.
On the day that I was scheduled to come in to the salon, Jennifer let me know that she was afraid the actual red hair that came in was a bit too dark. We both decided that it was just a tiny bit too dark (even though it matched very closely) and she went and got a lighter shade for me to put in the very next day. This meant a lot to me because she is clearly very dedicated to doing a quality job and cares a lot about her clients. The new hair that came in was literally a PERFECT match!
As far as the actual extensions, they’re everything I hoped they’d be! Styling my hair is so much easier now and I don’t really have to do much to it on a daily basis other than brush it out in the morning. I get so many compliments on my hair and the people that know I got extensions can’t believe how amazing they look. Everyone’s always like «I can’t tell where your hair stops and the extensions starts!” — perfection! It took me about two weeks to get used to having them in but now they just feel like my hair.

Jennifer is the nicest hair stylist I have ever met! She is so professional and really patient to explain everything to you. Most importantly she is honest and really really care for your hair! I just got my hair done and I am sooooo happy! The place is very pretty too. I love everything about it. Hands down the best!

I planned to wait a week before writing my review, so I could give a honest account of both the service and quality of product. Jennifer is great. She possesses advanced product knowledge, is frank about pricing, and is thoughtful about which of her products are right for you or not (if even at all). It takes a few hours, so it’s an added bonus that Jennifer is personable!
Here is the deal, ladies… a quality application of extensions is expensive. Jennifer is not cheap. I had extensions applied in a regular salon once and had them removed in less than a month because they were obvious. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I’m a bit more on the conservative side, so I didn’t want super long extensions, but I definitely added a few inches of length and a lot of fullness. Only two of my incredibly observant friends commented that my hair looked a lot longer. The rest of my friends and colleagues have just complemented me on how pretty my hair looks. In the ultimate test of Jennifer’s work and product, my mom’s radar eyes didn’t notice I had extensions in. So, unless you go from a pixie cut to Jennifer Lopez tresses in a matter of a few hours, the product looks natural.
For what it is worth from someone only a couple of weeks into this, I thought I might share a couple of tips as well. I am glad I got a wash and style in before an important event. If you can time it right, try to do the same. My first style with my new locks didn’t go as well as the next one did because I was getting used to the extensions. I already had long’ish hair, so I highly recommend that you give yourself time to get used to your extensions before an important outing… especially if you’re not used to styling long hair. Also, the ends of your extensions are going to be a bit brittle (they haven’t been receiving the natural oils our bodies produce for a while). Make sure you’re keeping them conditioned. Jennifer will go over all of this with you, but it’s really important to listen. I use an Instyler to curl my hair, but you MUST be careful not to pull on the extensions. I was already used to using that tool, so maybe stick to a curling iron to create your curls. Also, be prepared to give your hair a couple of hours (or more) to air dry as much as possible. The less heat, the better.
One last thought to an already incredibly long review (again…these are expensive, so it matters)…while I haven’t experienced removing the extensions yet or seen what my natural hair looks like post this endeavor, I’m not concerned at the moment about damage. Why? Ironically, I’m treating my natural hair better after adding extensions. Less heat (because the extensions keep the curl), less washing and drying out my hair, and I’m also far more careful about tugging on my hair because I don’t want the extensions to fall out.

I absolutely love my extensions… Jennifer is amazing. She is extremely informative and truly cares about your hair. She understands and will tell you that hair extensions are absolutely an investment… so she gives very specific and thorough instructions on how to care for your hair to maintain them. Also she gives you a little care package with goodies to make sure your hair stays beautiful. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who is serious about getting extensions and are willing to put forth the effort to keep them beautiful. Also the salon is very nice, I felt very comfortable there, especially because I felt like I could openly talk with Jennifer. I had an amazing experience and I feel beautiful every day!

I received my hair extensions a few months ago from Jenn. From the moment we first spoke on the phone to now this has been nothing but the best experience I have had with hair extensions. She is gracious, professional and very knowledgeable regarding all things hair extensions. My hair was thinning dramatically after having my thyroid removed and gallbladder surgery. I honestly felt horrible. I received the Flat A-​tracks created by Jenn and she used the 100% human remy hair. I can honestly say that I have never felt better about myself and it is all because of her. I can call/​text her anytime for tips on hair care. She checks in with me often to see how not only my hair is doing but how I am. She is truly an exceptional individual who takes the best care of her clients. Being in LA there are MANY choices when it comes to getting hair extensions. Jenn is hands down the best there is out there. She has clients from all over the world and I can honestly see why. I will never think twice about going somewhere else. Going on five months with the same hair and will be getting my new hair in January, appointment is booked! YAY… Due to Jenns great hair extension care tips I have been able to take care of my hair properly to increase it’s longevity. Did I mention she has the sweetest boutique!?! The whole ambience is great, staff is so wonderful and great to be around.

I had hair extensions before but it always seemed like they didn’t look right in my baby fine hair. That is until I went to see Jen at Celebrity Extensions. Jen really understands all hair types and even discussed the two different options that would work for my hair. I’ve had both the A Traks and the individual strand procedures done on my hair and both processes looked natural.
Jen’s dedication and commitment to her clients extends far beyond your appointment time and the obvious things. Prior to my appointment, I had several follow-​up questions that I emailed to her. Jen not only emailed me back but called me to discuss as well.
Jen and her sister Julie are very knowledgeable about hair extensions and very professional. Her boutique is adorable and says a lot about Jen’s bubbly personality. Another big plus is there is always free parking on the street or behind her boutique!

Jen and Julie are not only very good at what they do, but they have also become good friends. We have laughed, cried, vented, and celebrated together the last 3 years while having the most perfect head of hair. My extensions are flawless and I get constant compliments about looking like I always walked out of a salon.
I first came to Jen when my hair thinned out due to radiation. My hair was still pretty weak and Jen did not hesitate to tell me I should come back when my hair gets a little stronger. A year later, I knew I was ready and had A-​traks put in. Needless to say and 3 years later, I am still a happy client. The sets I’ve gotten are such good quality that the first one lasted me a year and a half.

I have been going to Celebrity Extensions, for over 3 years. My hair is very curly and won’t grow long anymore. Because of Jen, I don’t have to constantly mess with it to make it look good, i.e., I can style it in the morning and know it’s going to look fine all day. And, no one can ever tell I have extensions!
Jen does a fantastic job of choosing the perfect hair to match your own and it looks great after she puts it in. It’s also really fun to go to Celebrity Extensions. She and her sister, Julie, are nice, enthusiastic and very professional. I am so happy that, not only did Jen make my frustrating hair look good, but I always enjoy going to her salon!

jennifer is amazing when you first meet her she treat you like a friend I love love my extensions. my experience was wonderfully Jennifer made me feel so comfortable and confident about the whole process she explain step by step how to take care of my hair so they’ll stay looking great. she even gives you a goodie bag with all the things you need to take care take of your hair. Jennifer knew my birthday was coming up and she gave me a gift.

She told me every kind of hair extensions that is done, pros and cons and everything.
I was so impressed by her honesty. Most salon will encourage you (or force you) to do the hair extensions no matter what because it’s good for their business, but Jennifer was different. She understood my situation so well and told me what I just need to do with my hair. Even though it was a short consultation, I learned everything what I had to know, and I felt really satisfied.

I needed to get extensions for my wedding, and with a lot of planning ended up being short on time. Even though they had packed schedule, Jen and Julie made sure to fit me in for the consultation; since I knew nothing about extensions, I knew it’s a must, but I was doubtful about $ 25 fee — however, it is worth every single penny: whereas other places treat this step as simply with ‘oh, whatever, you want it or not?’ kinda attitude; Jen goes through every step with you, answers even silly questions, gets you samples of hair, and she even let my sister try on some clip-​ons, while she was waiting. No pressure once or ever, and she is just so friendly and lovable!
She does her work fast — which is a plus; and results are gorgeous. My family and close friends were saying :“it’s just like real!”, I guess with some «specialists» it’s not always the case; and the rest were like: «oh, your hair grows so fast!» — they didn’t even guess its extensions!
I was planning to take them off soon as I come back from my honeymoon, but I am keeping them for as long as possible — I love them so much! It is a lot of care, but every time I hear a comment on «my» beautiful hair, or thick braid, I just can’t resist having this little secret. My real hair is very fine

Amazing!!! Jen and her staff are incredible at HAIR! I had searched forever for someone who was honest, excellent and experienced.
She doesn’t try to upsell you and will tell you the truth about the best hair option, type of extension as well as if your hair is even fit for extensions.
As a physician I was really worried I’d have bald spots or ruin my hair, but I’ve been coming for over 2y now and have had gaps where I didn’t have the extensions in and my hair is exactly the same condition as when I started just longer:) you’ll feel so comfy in her hands… at least go do a consult and you’ll see what I mean!

That being said, Jennifer is the complete package! With a super comfy studio and a kick-​ass staff to boot, there is nothing I can find wrong with my hair-​care experience here.
I came in with fairly healthy, blonde, shoulder length hair, in search of the perfect extension combination. Jennifer, with her plethora of knowledge, asked the right questions, suggested the correct methods and with one appointment later… BAM! I walked out of the store feeling like a complete, and beautiful new woman! I was at a very low point in my life. A girls hair is everything to her. I don’t know how I got to where I was… But I finally had to do something to make a change. After doing my research and asking friends… I prayed for a miracle. My baby sister was getting married and I was not myself behind my thin short hair. When I got in touch with Jennifer and Ashley, they brought a piece of me back to life. I couldn’t stop smiling. They made the process easy and kept it real and simple for me. I knew what I needed to do and they made me feel comfortable the entire time. They are always available and never stop being happy for you. This is a new chapter in my life. Because of them I am able to build myself back up and follow my dreams. I will always recommend them. You can’t put a price tag on happy. I’m proud of these 2. Don’t ever stop believing in something great!!!

It totally shocks me there’s only one review on here and it’s negative. All I can say is no one wants to cop up to their hair extensions and with Jennifer you don’t have to! Seriously, I am not one of «those» chicks in LA who wanted to run around with cheap blonde hair extensions, I’m an actress– I did it for work and I was majorly freaked out about it. When I heard the price I was a little put off because, hey my girlfriend just got extensions for like, four hundred bucks at her house and the girl usually charges a thousand. Yeah, whatever.
Here’s the real deal Jennifer uses Russian Virgin hair — what that means is it’s never been dyed. Her assistant (who’s really cool and beautiful) pick out three different hair colors your hair looks totally lush and real. I’m totally obsessed. My whole life I’ve had shiiiittty thin hair and now I have lush hair. I started booking acting jobs immediately and I gotta admit it’s the damn hair. I’d have Jennifer and Ashley’s name tattooed on my rear if it wouldn’t piss my boyfriend off who paid for the hair. Hey, it’s LA– sue me. ;) Get the best & thank me.
ps– The chick Diana– is right if you don’t take care of them they probably will fall off it’s A LOT of hair on your head if you want it. I realized that right away. We white girls don’t get it. There’s some serious maintance involved. You gotta tie it up to sleep, put it in a braid to swim, blah, blah. It doesn’t always feel comfy but, when I had my set hair dressers say «I had no idea you had extensions» I was like that’s the price of beauty. Check out my headshots for proof of the lushness.

I only have a minute but I was shocked to see the previous review as I had a wonderful experience with Jen and Ashley and plan to go back. I have received so many compliments and they were so good to me and I did have a consultation one week prior to my appointment, and I was informed about the 50% down and that the deposit was non-​refundable. In addition, I have met at least 3 other clients who have been going to Jen for years and drive from all over CA just to see Jen because of the fantastic work she does.
